MILITARY BASE
Flying past few skyscrapers, the Raptors stayed close while transports continued to work on the city with half the city powered. Getting up, Jack spotted one of the new Caprican transports from the Colonies; they were providing steel and silicon with other vital computer components. Terran reputation and military training was on the table which was something that they could do.
Turning on the spotlights, the Raptors flew over the base only to land on an empty field where Medical personnel waiting. Stepping out of the Raptor, the grass field was lit up by the spotlights as they moved the injured into the hospital while deck hands cleared out the ships. Lying down their weapons in the grass, it had become policy to disarm inside the base since they all had a side arm anyways.
Unzipping his vest, Jack placed his hands into his pockets as he turned to the rest of the team members; "We have procured residency inside the city for all of you and also inside the base. If you need anything, contact myself or my office and we'll accommodate you," walking off of the grass as the base green lights came online with the Raptors being moved to the respective new hangars.

Collapsing onto the grass, Victor was just exhausted from the continuous marching and holding concentration with drugs flowing through him. A simple trip turned into all this and even on the ride here, he worked on stabilizing Jonathan who took the worst of it. His new idea, maybe some rest and hit the beach considering London really didn't have a beach and get back there.
Noticing Samuel dragging him from the back of his vest, he didn't have the strength to fight him as he exhaustion took over. Falling asleep, Victor hadn't managed to get his bloody gloves off.

Dragging Victor to the barracks, Samuel laid him down onto a couch as he left his gear there with him. The base appeared to be carefully built with stone slabs taken from the old ruins which must've been meticulous. Walking over to the medical wing, he went to observe Thrax and the others going through surgery with Doctors playing old classical music.
The music reminded him of his father, a former composer, he would hear this music all the time as a young boy. He never kept the music since he was constantly moving and until now realized that they lost more than their home but identity.
They were no longer Terrans, they were something else entirely but what? Kobolians? Were they now going to be identified by the provinces they live in? These questions had him pondering while he watched but noticed someone else watching.

Up until now, Eva had miraculously managed to hold it all together. When they’d set out together to find Site B, the only thing she had thought about was finding Jonathan. She’d finally learned to trust Samuel and Victor as if she had been a part of their team for years, even if it was easier being alone before. The former vigilante never expected warm and fuzzy reunions, not in such a hostile environment as they’d gone through. Her heart had raced when she saw that he was still alive, yet they all held to the mission until things went to shit.
She hadn’t expected the fire and the bullets that went flying back at the bunker. Worst of all, she had to watch Jonathan hit the ground and could do nothing to stop it, or the man who fled soon after. Evanna had held it in, and now, she began to shake as she could only watch through the windows of the surgical wing as the doctors worked.
She took merely a second to look over and see Samuel watching, as well as Michael’s wife, unable to imagine what was going through the other woman’s head as she was also helpless to do anything other than wait. Eva composed herself as best she could before moving over to where Samuel stood. ”Who did all of this? Who is the Butcher?” She had heard the name tossed around by the team more than once, and now to her it was personal.

John November surgery
Carefully reassembling John's shoulder blade, the doctors were now mechanics with them attaching the shattered pieces to a titanium plate that would help with the healing process. Placing him on synthetic blood, he was lucky but would have a long road till he could return to active duty.
Jonathan Harperson surgery
The bullets were armor piercing and fragmented upon impact which cut through his liver, intestines and kidneys including vital arteries. Keeping him heavily subdated was difficult but they were unpacking the 3D printed organs that were in cold transit from Terra. It would be easier to replace as opposed to repair but they had scanners to find every shred of lead. Giving him multiple bags of synthetic blood, the arteries would have to be reinforced to ensure they could heal as new carts of guass cloths came in to slow it down but it was slow going.
Michael Thrax surgery
Commendations should be given to the medic for the extensive work he had done. The brain was beginning to swell but with the relief points given, he prevented it from happening. No visible injuries with antibodies that were probably to combat the Day 1 virus. Muscle fatigue but expected recovery to be short though unknown if removing an A.I would have lasting effects.

You should get some rest. You will be the first to know if there is any change. The words echoed in her head, how could they not when that was the only thing they would tell her since their arrival. Sam was as tired as the rest of them, in need of a shower to wash away the dirt, blood, and ash from the fire, and sleep though it was the furthest thing from her mind. A part of her couldn’t let go of the guilt she’d felt for not staying in the bunker before, not wanting to see what had to happen. She didn’t know what all had happened there, but knew enough and knew that Michael had suffered in the removal of his A.I.
The most she could do now was take a seat and peer through the windows, trapped in her own mind. Unlike the rest, she was alone. They each had one another to depend and lean on. Those she had left were far away somewhere on the Independence. She was left to wonder what would come next, or if she would even be able to help him when he woke. Sam hasn’t experienced living with someone else in her head. How could she look at him and promise it would all be okay?

Washing off the blood, Liam was far from ready to relax like the rest of them with his rifle hanging from his vest. He spent months surviving in the wild and now he met a challenge of hunting down a single person. Washing off the blood splatter off his face before heading to the armory to load up on his trip.
Walking across the courtyard, Liam kept flashing back to that moment and knew the Butcher had planned for them to be there. The target had them knockout a Colonel and then took out two more officers with them there helpless to do anything. Traditional man hunts won't work cause he's a ghost which meant this had to be done by him. He had all but learned about the regions of Kobol and know how to use these regions to his advantage. Liam didn't need a team, shit, if he did this right he wouldn't need a rifle but its not about doing it right but doing it in such a way that no one else would have to do it.
Stepping into the armory, he saw Tom, Victor and Rebecca waiting on him with rifles in hand and packs ready. The plan to be the Lone Wolf or the sacrificial lamb was gone...so maybe a team is a good idea; failing together as opposed to dying alone. Picking up magazines, he began loading them as he spoke to them; "I plan on taking a truck, drive it till its empty then walk from there. Zero chatter and no complaints. I watched him almost kill two friends and plan is to haul him back either in chains or head on a stick."

I watched him almost kill two friends and plan is to haul him back either in chains or head on a stick." Somehow he was expecting more but the base must still be new with that sanitized smell. He had time to write a note telling them to enjoy paradise and that he had plans to hunt the Butcher. Even now, he gave Victor props for making himself invisible by intentionally passing out in the grass; sneaky little bastard. Two shots of whiskey and then packing up the bottle, he knew Bones could do something they can't which is to go nonstop. Other than Michael, he saw the brutality of the A.I during the Terran War and was prepared for it. Arming up in the armory, he noticed Victor was here with coffee and Rebecca was prepared for an extended leave. All the shit they've been through, all the blood and death, friends sacrificing themselves for the greater good had just added a layer of armor to the survivors. Picking up a P90, he was going to get rid of the bulky weapons and be the CQC Specialist they needed. Fact remains, the wildlife was just as dangerous and mastering both could be beneficial to everyone.

Years of training and having Samuel believe that he was asleep...shit, he couldn't sleep knowing who was out there. The bastard used termite salt, gun powder and whatever else to burn down NoWhere then simple smoke trap to shoot two high ranking officers only to get the hard drive. A new start on Kobol and we bring over sins from Terra; so much for the freshness. Changing into forest camouflage fatigues, he rushed to the armory only to find Rebecca doing the same with a thermos. Great minds...picking up new gear, he knew Rebecca was waiting so it was time to wait.

Surprised by her, Samuel watched them extract the rounds and fragments as he listened to her question. Samuel wants to get back at him but he works with traps and avoiding all out fighting...it was terrifying to think one man was their biggest frakkin threat. It was disappointing that he was just as much in the dark about this whole situation as she was. She was scared; Eva wanted to make sense of it all, but she hadn't lived the life most of them had. A one time, maybe it would have been possible. In the weeks that she'd spent scouting when they first arrived on Kobol, it was the first time she'd reverted back to old habits, back when she'd lost her own team years ago. Without anyone to keep the dark impulses at bay, she wondered how long it was until she spiraled back into the way she was on Terra. Perhaps that what it might take, if she planned on taking off after this Butcher. Running off alone and angry meant almost certain death, but it also meant leaving Jonathan behind here... "I would shoot the bastard myself if I could..." Eva looked over at the man for a moment before turning her gaze back forward. The mere thought of this man getting away made her sick, and she could feel her fists tightening at her side. She was somewhat surprised at the anger she felt. Before, she wouldn't have much cared what happened as long as there was money involved. But years spent with the group made her realize that being alone wasn't what she wanted after all. "He can't get away with it. I want to go after him myself. I would, even if it means not coming back. Should we just sit on our hands and do nothing?"

Noticing that they were moving Jonathan to the ICU, thinking carefully as he whispered to her; "I agree but can't go half cocked. Also, I know if you get hurt, he won't be able to help and he needs you," pausing as he smiled at a thought, "fire cracker. Perfect call sign." Setting the file down, Samuel glanced over at Samantha who must've been worried about her own husband; "She's the highest ranking person here and I'm sure she wants revenge or anything at this rate," taking a seat on the floor. Samuel knew of the frustration, the Butcher wasn't a Cylon but a man who beaten them down to the core. He had used their ego against them but there had to be a plan? Right now, recovery was important and could add perspective to the mix.

Right now, recovery was important and could add perspective to the mix. Waiting was something she had never been much good at. The longer they waited, the further their target got. Watching as Jonathan was moved out the surgical ward, she signed and took a seat as well, leaning back against the wall. She wanted to believe that he needed her, despite how long they’d been away from each other. She would have traded places with him in a heartbeat if possible, not wanting to see him endure the pain. “Frak... Alright, you’re right. We need a plan. As much as it kills me to admit that,” Eva joked, managing a small smirk. In truth, he was right. If they went out and let emotion take over, they’d play right into the Butcher’s hands. It would just be two kills to add to the list. ”Fire cracker... well, we both know I’ll be pulling your ass out of the fire before it’s all over with.” She couldn’t help but laugh. Fire cracker probably would’ve been the best way to describe Evanna in that moment when shock had turned to anger. As much as she wanted to go off, though, she knew he was right. They needed a plan, otherwise it meant the end. Being a scout gave her an advantage on the terrain, but not knowing the Butcher or his tactics made it that much harder. ”Hopefully he hasn’t found a way off of Kobol by now. Unless he plans to stick around long enough to see how many more of us he can pick off.” It was possible he was simply lying in wait to spring a trap on any Terran who pursued him.

Thinking, Samuel knew he wanted the A.I since all the actions that the Butcher did was for that singular purpose. Reaching into his jacket, he pulled out his tactical pad he started running searches through the network. Tapping Evia, maybe sitting still is the right call; "The first transport from the Colonies is here and its purely cargo so no docking required since its dropping off supplies. Cargo is typically in zero oxygen since no one goes to the cargo bay," tucking the pad into his jacket. With Victor passed out, they had the only known person that could implant anyone so they could bring the bastard here. Hearing tools being set down, he looked over his shoulder to see the rest of them being wheeled out; "He did give you that long stare at the bunker, shit, I think all of them were scared of something might happen. I know one thing though, he have the only medic that can implant A.Is so go be with him." Through the rough exterior he had, Samuel had learned from Victor who had that ability to feel what people's energy was. Maybe Evia wanted be tough for both of them but he was in the Raptor with him and saw the struggle the man was having.
