Washing off the blood, Liam was far from ready to relax like the rest of them with his rifle hanging from his vest. He spent months surviving in the wild and now he met a challenge of hunting down a single person. Washing off the blood splatter off his face before heading to the armory to load up on his trip. Walking across the courtyard, Liam kept flashing back to that moment and knew the Butcher had planned for them to be there. The target had them knockout a Colonel and then took out two more officers with them there helpless to do anything. Traditional man hunts won't work cause he's a ghost which meant this had to be done by him. He had all but learned about the regions of Kobol and know how to use these regions to his advantage. Liam didn't need a team, shit, if he did this right he wouldn't need a rifle but its not about doing it right but doing it in such a way that no one else would have to do it. Stepping into the armory, he saw Tom, Victor and Rebecca waiting on him with rifles in hand and packs ready. The plan to be the Lone Wolf or the sacrificial lamb was gone...so maybe a team is a good idea; failing together as opposed to dying alone. Picking up magazines, he began loading them as he spoke to them; "I plan on taking a truck, drive it till its empty then walk from there. Zero chatter and no complaints. I watched him almost kill two friends and plan is to haul him back either in chains or head on a stick." Attaching his pack and weapons on the Nomad, Liam knew Victor was a valuable asset that they could use to capture the Butcher. Starting up the vehicle, Tom was behind him and ready to go as they rolled out of the base through the front gate. Driving through the dark city, Liam knew with Victor tagging along that they were sparing the city from death. This fight was going to be in the wilderness of Kobol which was a place he knew better than this Butcher but didn't want to end up on a slab.

It was so quiet. He could hear the heart monitor and the brain wave monitor making that wacky beep to indicate conciousness but even he thought it was a dream. Counting his heart beats, he was calm but he pondered on what was waiting for him as he slowly opened his eyes. Blue gown, why blue? There was no one inside his head questioning his thoughts still a relief.
Looking around the room, he was looking for Sam and wondered where she was but noticed something he remembered losing. The simple ring that had been on a chain, the item Bones took from him was now in his hand...
Closing his eyes briefly, everything replayed and he once again wondered why gowns had to be blue? Why blue? Silence once more, he felt so relieved that his thoughts were his own.
Looking around the room, he was looking for Sam and wondered where she was but noticed something he remembered losing. The simple ring that had been on a chain, the item Bones took from him was now in his hand...
He had no idea that he had no short term memory so he continued in this loop while the nurses observed him. Soon they discovered this as well as he continued with his looks at the gown then the ring.

You should get some rest. You will be the first to know if there is any change. The words echoed in her head, how could they not when that was the only thing they would tell her since their arrival. Sam was as tired as the rest of them, in need of a shower to wash away the dirt, blood, and ash from the fire, and sleep though it was the furthest thing from her mind. A part of her couldn’t let go of the guilt she’d felt for not staying in the bunker before, not wanting to see what had to happen. She didn’t know what all had happened there, but knew enough and knew that Michael had suffered in the removal of his A.I. The most she could do now was take a seat and peer through the windows, trapped in her own mind. Unlike the rest, she was alone. They each had one another to depend and lean on. Those she had left were far away somewhere on the Independence. She was left to wonder what would come next, or if she would even be able to help him when he woke. Sam hasn’t experienced living with someone else in her head. How could she look at him and promise it would all be okay? Doctor Henry BishopApproaching Mrs. Martin, the Doctor wore his red scrubs with a white long sleeve shirt underneath while holding a tablet. Pulling up the chart, the man pulled over a chair as he sat down in front of her; "Ma'am, I'm Doctor Bishop, the lead physician on base and here to update you on Mr. Martin's condition." Handing her the tablet after circling two repeating brain patterns that keep repeating, speaking softly for he had read the file; "He is awake and aware, showing cognitive activity but that's where it stops. He hasn't talked to anyone, he's showing in his brain scans that he's repeating the same actions thus concluding that he may have short term memory issues. These could be the residue of two conscious personalities active at once or a side effect of the removal; honestly, we don't know and in previous cases this typically corrects itself. He's no danger to you or himself so we're allowing visitations and at this point I would encourage a shower...we have fresh fresh clothing in the room."

Thinking, Samuel knew he wanted the A.I since all the actions that the Butcher did was for that singular purpose. Reaching into his jacket, he pulled out his tactical pad he started running searches through the network. Tapping Evia, maybe sitting still is the right call; "The first transport from the Colonies is here and its purely cargo so no docking required since its dropping off supplies. Cargo is typically in zero oxygen since no one goes to the cargo bay," tucking the pad into his jacket. With Victor passed out, they had the only known person that could implant anyone so they could bring the bastard here. Hearing tools being set down, he looked over his shoulder to see the rest of them being wheeled out; "He did give you that long stare at the bunker, shit, I think all of them were scared of something might happen. I know one thing though, he have the only medic that can implant A.Is so go be with him." Through the rough exterior he had, Samuel had learned from Victor who had that ability to feel what people's energy was. Maybe Evia wanted be tough for both of them but he was in the Raptor with him and saw the struggle the man was having. It might have reassured her knowing that there were presently no ships scheduled to land. It bought them a small chunk of time, but it also meant sitting still and waiting for the right time. Eva had already decided that she wouldn't wait too long. She was thankful, that she'd never been implanted with something that could flip a switch at any moment. They were meant to be perfect soldiers, she'd heard some say. But to her, living with something like that was far from perfect. "Well, if we're staying put for the moment, maybe you should try to get some sleep then." She was surprised that he hadn't passed out from exhaustion. It hadn't taken Victor long after they landed, considering what he'd been through too, and she assumed most of the others were already in their racks asleep. She knew the adrenaline and shock of it all would wear down soon enough, but sleep was something she thought little of at the moment, at least for herself. Pushing up off of the ground, Eva turned to look back at Samuel. "Don't leave without me. Neither of us can do it alone..." She could feel her heart begin to beat slightly faster, wondering if she would have to keep Jonathan in the dark about their plans to hunt down the Butcher. She didn't want to risk the recovery, but it meant lying to him. Taking a breath, she started towards the ICU, calling back over her shoulder to Samuel. "If you do leave, just know that you can't stop me from coming after you," she smirked, following behind a nurse to find Jonathan's room.

Nodding, Samuel knew she was right since he was tired but part of him wanted as much vengeance. Watching her head to Jonathan's room and the Doctor talking with Samantha, he might as well head to the Barracks and sleep on the spare couch. Stepping out into the brisk air, Samuel took a second to glance up at the sky to see the massive moon with the stars but this made him sleepier. Stepping into the Barracks, he noticed something was off especially given the excessive non snoring from Victor. The couch was empty except for a tactical pad on top of a uniform, picking it up as he sat down on the couch: If you're reading this then you should know I'm not here. I can do what Issac wants, yes I know his name, gotta do the research brother. I can't stay and put the base in danger so left with Liam to hunt him down. I left the research here but you got the task to keep them there. I'm sure Evanna would want revenge but maybe with her closer to Jonathan than maybe we have more time. I'm sorry about double crossing you, as Michael once said, survival is beyond strength or knowledge it's that of heart, I gotta survive.

At first, she was terrified when she saw a doctor coming her way. Hours of waiting and Sam had already assumed the worst. She was somewhat at ease after the doctor spoke, though she soon felt her heart drop at knowing that Michael was having issues with memory. Would he even recognize her now? Or had it all gone away when they removed Bones from his mind? "T-thank you, Doctor. I think I'll take you up on that offer." Her voice was shaky as she handed the tablet back to the man before being led away to the showers. It should have helped, but it didn't. All she could do was stand there and let the water run over her, beating her hands against the wall and hating herself for not doing more for him, wondering what was to come next. When the nurse brought her to the room, she stood in the doorway in silence for a moment to observe. They'd been in this position so many times before, one of them in the bed while the other stood watch. Sam had been in the position more than she liked, but this time felt different. Before, she felt angry that he put himself in harms way so much, even though she likely did just as much. But this time, there was no anger. Only fear. "I'm starting to think you enjoy scaring the hell out of me, she finally spoke up, offering Michael a small smile as she moved slowly across the room to take a seat at his bedside.

You wanted traditional Tauron ceremony and honestly I wanted to see you happy that day. Though, you lit up with that ring and I insisted on wearing mine next to our tags," pausing as he looked down at it, "I...where are we?" Looking around, he was so confused since this wasn't the place he remembered being; "What happened? Where," he had real fear in his eyes as he went from panicking to calming again, "I remember how much we went back and forth about that ceremony..." He continued on with a past memory and then returned to a moment of panic like he never remembered coming to Kobol.

Someone was hiding something and that was unsettling but just as the thought of climbing out of bed came into his mind there was Evanna. Throughout all this fighting, the endless bullshit and everything else seeing her put him at ease but this was the first time in a while they've been alone. Setting the veil of fragmented rounds aside, he was wearing fresh black pants and a white shirt that way the nurges can see the blood from his bandages. Clearing his throat, he wanted to set her at ease as he offered a spot on the bed; "I've missed you."

Seeing the panic and confusion taking over him, she forced the tears back and reached out to take his hand into hers gently. "We're on Kobol. Terra... was no longer suitable." There wasn't an easy way to say that his home was no longer that, but Sam would simply leave it at that for the moment, not wishing to add to the panic he already felt. Her eyes glanced down to the ring in his hand. A part of her was happy that he could remember parts of their life together. No one else had looked over her mistakes like he did. "That was the happiest day of my life, never doubt that," she reached into her shirt collar to pull out the chain around her neck, with her own ring hanging right beside the tags as he used to wear. It wasn't a lie. She couldn't recall ever being so happy, despite the ups and downs of the years that followed. "I remember I pushed a lot of Tauron customs on you. To be honest, I just wanted you to be proud to have... someone like me for a wife." Sam remembered what it was first like when she visited Terra. Running into Michael was the best thing that had happened, but not everyone had been like him, and not many cared for her people. Many avoided her, leaving her to wonder if she'd ever be good enough. But a small smile crept to the edges of her lips, recalling how he'd said she was the biggest pain in the ass. If he couldn't remember, it would take time to catch up. She couldn't keep him from knowing why he was here now. "Bones is gone," she said quietly, squeezing his hand softly, "I'm not sure how, but they got him out."

Bones? Who...maybe he was someone he knew? These memories were so much as he squeezed her hand, thinking while the brain monitored showed spouts of stress of him trying on remembering things. Whispering, he wanted to convey a message that had understood her; "Let's hope there isn't too many chilly nights. I know how you are with cold conditions," vague but this was amongst the earliest memories he had with her and mentally work forward from there. There was faint images of death which was increasing his heart rate and soon understood who Bones was; possibly split personality. She spoke of her Tauron customs and yet it seemed like Bones killed a lot of Taurons. There was a girl. A young girl in a city that Bones met, he seemed to be much kinder to her but also protected her against other people. Whispering only one word, it was a word that Bones knew had value; "Amelia."

Placing his hand on her own, Jonathan had missed her for sometime and it feels only crisis brings them to each other; "I know and you know I don't try to get hurt though its been awhile since we had this just us time," leaning in to kiss her on the back of the neck. The last few times they were together were on Terra but no new memories on Kobol but he was hoping to change that. Trying to encourage her to lay in bed, he knew she was tired and stressed out about him getting shot. He was worried, he only gave her a reassuring smile, thinking he was safe and ended up fighting to save his life. Kobol wasn't as safe as Terra and they lived in this wilderness; "You've been through more. I've been in an underground bunker with researchers, shitty films and a picture of you for seven months."

MILITARY BASE Flying past few skyscrapers, the Raptors stayed close while transports continued to work on the city with half the city powered. Getting up, Jack spotted one of the new Caprican transports from the Colonies; they were providing steel and silicon with other vital computer components. Terran reputation and military training was on the table which was something that they could do. Turning on the spotlights, the Raptors flew over the base only to land on an empty field where Medical personnel waiting. Stepping out of the Raptor, the grass field was lit up by the spotlights as they moved the injured into the hospital while deck hands cleared out the ships. Lying down their weapons in the grass, it had become policy to disarm inside the base since they all had a side arm anyways. Unzipping his vest, Jack placed his hands into his pockets as he turned to the rest of the team members; "We have procured residency inside the city for all of you and also inside the base. If you need anything, contact myself or my office and we'll accommodate you," walking off of the grass as the base green lights came online with the Raptors being moved to the respective new hangars. Sitting back in his office, Kobol wasn't too bad considering everything that was happening though recent events not so much. Recruiting a mass murder; a major disappointment but Kobol was quite big and could limit interactions. Noticing Jack stepping into the office, Lucious slid over a list of photos from his scouting teams; "We found the Forum and Opera House though no mysterious visions of the future."

MILITARY BASE Flying past few skyscrapers, the Raptors stayed close while transports continued to work on the city with half the city powered. Getting up, Jack spotted one of the new Caprican transports from the Colonies; they were providing steel and silicon with other vital computer components. Noticing Jack stepping into the office, Lucious slid over a list of photos from his scouting teams; "We found the Forum and Opera House though no mysterious visions of the future." Smirking, he was looking forward to seeing if this was either a success or prolonging the death overall. The thirteen bridges representing the original tribes which meant there could be artifacts inside. Giving the location to the research division, they had to evaluate before upgrades and use could be done to the sites. Sitting back in his desk, Jack returned to his work of setting up outposts across the planet with economic growth expectations. They were borrowing a lot from the Colonies to build and they needed some way to pay them back.

Getting out of bed, John noticed his bicep in a cast as he took his time to get dressed as he focused on what the target might do especially now. John was simply pissed off, failure to kill Bones, meant now stopping the target. Ordering a nurse to give him something for the pain as he started breaking the cast; focused on pulling up key targets. Normally, he would be in that bed resting knowing Issac was stopped but...it was round 2.
Strapping a med pack on, he moved past the other rooms for he wasn't going to interrupt them till he had a plan. Tapping the radio, he tossed the cast aside as he wrenched in the pain in his shoulder blade; "Specialist, boots on the deck in ten minutes," hoping that Liam was still here. Walking to the General's office, he carefully slipped on his leather jacket that still had a bullet hole. There was only one place, the abandoned Basestar, and it was across territory that few could get to but it was fortified with the fiercest of beasts that Kobol had.
Stepping into the office, he reluctantly gave them a salute as he spoke; "Permission to take a raptor to the Basestar and before you say no; make a note that I asked for the record."
