Laughing, he downed another shot before pouring another one as he downed that one just as quick as he turned to her; "Anything you want but what do I get if I win," Jonathan knew he was seeing doubles but wasn't giving it away as he downed another shot. Looking over at the tactical pad, it was registering 120 degree F and right away something told him that drinking wouldn't help but he was drunk thus wasn't thinking on his right mind; putting the tactical pad back behind the bar. Closing off the vents, he was hoping that would slow it down as sweat rolled down his face but as he went for the glass...well he never made it to the glass as he fell down onto the ground from exhaustion. Sweat was formed up in his boots and he could feel it as he got up, shaking off this feeling as he reached into his vest for a block of G-4 but he knew he couldn't get to the door by himself.

:Chief Larkins; Terran Fleet: The temperature steadily rose as men tried putting together a makeshift cooling unit, putting it together with schematics from the Icarus, the deck was covered in their sweat for it was 140 degrees F in the engine room alone. Putting together the last piece, they began diverting heat into the unit as cold air blew out but it would be a while till the rest of the ship would start to drop after all other teams were building a cooling unit for every section of the ship to start cooling it. Dropping down onto the catwalk, he was surprised that anyone put this much detail into the engine room after all this deck would be filled with 20 or 30 men to keep everything going and with the A.I core close by; they would be sharing this space with IT guys to ensure there was no errors with program or even the new firewalls to safeguard the ship against Cylon hacking.

"What do you want? Not that you're going to win." Her grin was wide as she reached for another drink. This was a game she was all too willing to play, considering there wasn't much else they could do. Finishing her shot, Evanna set the glass down on the bar, turning to look at Jonathan, but instead she found that he was on the ground. "Giving up already?" She managed a strained laugh, the heat and alcohol causing her vision to blur. It wouldn't be long until the heat was too much for the both of them, and when she saw that he had reached into his vest, she stumbled over and put her arm around him, hoping it would be enough for them to get to the door. As hot as it was, and as drunk as she felt, Evie could stop herself from giggling, despite their situation.

It was a Terran version of ambrosia but instead of green it was blue as he pulled the top off, "I don't give up so easily," giving her a short kiss before grabbing the bottle and taking a gulp of it.

:Mercenary Captain Landon Starks: Climbing off of the raptor, he had his men begin to fall out to secure the ship which was mostly on lockdown for now which meant the people that initially came on board the ship; stocking up a small armory on the hanger deck. Getting new ID cards which would open the doors, his men began to fall out as he they all took parts of the ship that needed to be unlocked while other sections were secondary but needed to be unlocked if it meant protecting the ship in the long run. Holding a G-36C, Landon started unlocking doors as he felt a small explosion which meant somewhere an SF Alpha blew open a door to bring relief to the heat which he was now walking through.

It frakkin worked. A shot in the frakkin dark and he undid 25 years of programming with the help of an A.I who knew as much as he did about all of this. Undoing the restraints, he handed the man back his pistols as well as the rank of Commander as he led him out of the room; "All your memories are still there and I've got the crew of the Icarus inbound to help," walking with the man to the CIC as he noticed the heat getting to him as well, "Bones is gone, I think we need to find you a new call sign. Most of the ship is still on lock down, we can't get to Jonathan and he can't get to us, FTL is gone, we have just enough fuel to get to the shipyards and no water. We have plenty of oxygen, 23 nukes and our munitions are full," pausing as the DRADIS updated with other systems, "we're now allies with the Colonials so our systems won't target them and you should thank the A.I, she did all the work." Laughing as he walked over to his laptop, loading up the map of the ship onto the holo-generator built into the table; "We'll have to manually open every door between us and the hanger deck so I suggest we get to it before those raptors land." Being in the CIC for nearly an hour, the young Lieutenant could feel it getting warmer as men placed cooling units around the consoles and even the command table to keep the circuits from burning out. The Dradis screens had condensation on them from the cooling units and the heat but showed it clear as more raptors landed now with mostly engineering supplies which would help in ensuring that the ship gets a majority of its repairs done before making it to the docks. Setting a diagnostic into the weapon systems to ensure all the guns were ready to go for when they decided to jump the ship to the Colonies after the resupply.

There was instant relief when the doors were finally blown open and the hot air began to slowly leave the room. Evie could still feel the heat on her face, though, heat that intensified when she felt another pair of lips on hers. For a moment, she could only lie there and stare up, the room was still spinning but she managed a short laugh. "Well, Sparky, you never answered my question." Sitting up, she leaned forward to reach for the bottle of blue liquid, brushing her lips against his as she did. "Or did you already get what you wanted? Because that would be cheating..." Her voice trailed off and she grinned mischievously, leaning back to rest against the bar before she brought the bottle to her lips to take a swig.

Grinning, he grabbed the bottle from her as he took a swig before setting it down between them; "Got a taste of what I wanted," slyly smiling as he leaned forward to kiss her once more but tried to play it off as he took off his vest. At this point he was tempting her as he whispered to her before taking another swig, "Not cheating after all just tempting you to let me win after all we're both hammered and its only a matter of time," laughing as he slid his vest beside him and sliding the bottle over to her. The least he could do was tempt her after all there was good chances that his little explosion bought them sometime till either it cools down or someone eventually finds them...at this point the heat might get to them first.

Feeling the cool air coming down out of the vents, Daniel opened up his jacket a bit as he peered back over the navigation log; they had 8 hours till they made it to the shipyards except they had only enough fuel to last 6 hours which meant Daniel was going to cut the engines in 5 hours and use the rest of the fuel to slow the ship down and glide it in but once they flipped off the engines then the ship would cool faster. Even for a new Battlestar, Daniel kinda expected all of this to be fixed but yet again the SFC either didn't care or didn't have the resources towards the end which made more sense since there was a war going on so it would be seen if funds were being pulled; Icarus was the lead of the SF fleet so a good portion of funds went to keep it running. Wiping off his laptop screen, he began writing a shutdown program for when he does flip off the engines which included closing the pods to make the ship a bit more streamline; looking at the temperature as it steadied out at 80 degrees.

Evie wasn't one to be so easily persuaded, or flustered for that matter, but with the alcohol doing its job, a part of her had considered giving it up. But with the need to win, and the urge to see how far she could push him, there was no point in giving in. And there was an even better chance they'd both be out if things stayed as they were. Picking up the bottle that sat between the two, Evanna took a long drink before setting it back down, nearly knocking it over in the process. With a grin on her face, she leaned over to whisper in his ear. "It could be just as rewarding if you admitted defeat." It seemed only fair to tease back. She could feel the temperature slowly dropping, but it was still hot and sweat rolled down her neck, enough to the point that she had to pull of her shirt, stripping down to a tank top.

All he had on the line was pride but pride was going to cost him a lot, if he kept this up, they both would pass out and anyone who finds them would find them passed out, a bottle between them and his tactical pad playing music. Pulling off his sweaty shirt, he didn't have a tank top like Evia but a six pack which he maintained in prison for 15 years and even before then; picking up the bottle as he looked over as he thought. Taking a swig of the bottle, he leaned over as he whispered to her; "You win," kissing her neck as he spoke more, "kept this up any longer and well I would've passed out," moving his tactical pad out of the way as he lifted her up onto the bar ledge. He pushed the tactical pad into the sink followed by moving the bottle against the wall with his feet knowing he wouldn't want to trip over it, his mind was focused on her; what was left of his mind since he was swimming in mostly ambrosia.

She was somewhat surprised when he gave in, though she wouldn't admit that she was glad. They both knew what would've happened, and if he hadn't given in, she would have. There was no time for a victory drink once she had been hoisted up onto the edge of the bar. She held a lopsided grin as she looked at him. "Perhaps you will get a rematch some time." Without another word, Evie wrapped her arms around his neck to pull him closer and into a deep kiss. She stopped only a moment to think, remembering that the hatch had been blown open, and that they soon wouldn't be alone. "But I think we both know someone will be here soon." It wasn't something she was happy about, but it was inevitable, and it would do neither of them any good to get into something that would only be interrupted.

Grinning as he embraced the kiss as he whispered back, "Perhaps," kissing her once more while he reached for his tactical pad to link with the computer thus finding the nearest room, pulling away briefly as he noticed the room beside them was pilot barracks. Showing it to her, he grabbed his vest as he lifted her up, feeling her legs wrap around him as he walked out into the hall and used his tactical pad to unlock the automated doors. Setting her down on the cold steel table, he locked the doors and flipped on the lights on dim as he started his way to her; "Eventually but this isn't a critical section at least I don't think," kissing her once more as he dropped his vest. Placing his hand on her cheek while his other hand reached behind his neck to hold onto her hands, its been a long time since he had a woman with him and he didn't want to screw this up.

The trip from the overheated bar to the barracks had been nothing but a blur to Evanna. Whether it was from the heat or how much they'd been drinking, she didn't care. And even now, when there was still a chance they could be caught, she was too caught up in what was happening in the moment to care. The coldness of the table left chills all over her skin, enough that she jolted upright, pushing her lips to his again. "And what will you do once we've been discovered?" she asked, speaking between each kiss. Evie technically wasn't part of any crew yet, so there wasn't much for her to worry about. When she pulled him closer to her, she didn't expect to lose her balance, or that they would end up falling to the floor, the sound of her laughter filling room.

When she pulled him closer to her, she didn't expect to lose her balance, or that they would end up falling to the floor, the sound of her laughter filling room. Laughing, he caught her as he whispered to her between kisses; "Well we'll get there when it happens right now I'm planning a lot," smiling as he bit onto her neck while sliding her up the table; tossing her boots aside with his own. Climbing up on the table, he moved one hand down to undo her pants before kissing his way up her jaw bone as he whispered; "Now I hope its not too chilly," laughing as he kissed her once more to keep her attention on him as he pressed a button to flip off the lights the rest of the way with only the light from the tactical pad lighting up the room. If anyone told him that he would be hooking up with a beauty like Evia he wouldn't have believed them but with his life turning around for the best and now having Evia close by, he could care less if anyone caught them considering that door would be shut once more even he wasn't part of the crew he only aided in recovering the ship. 3 hours later...An announcement woke Jonathan up, it was Daniel alerting everyone that he was flipping off the engines thus closing the pods and allowing the ship to drift into dock which meant it was going to get colder. Didn't bother him after all, sharing body heat with Evia wasn't too bad though he had marks on his arms and back where she was sharing some heat as well; kissing her on top of her head as he put his arm back around her. Jonathan had cold survival training and knew being in here with her and sharing heat was important after all space is much colder; though none of it mattered right now considering there was nothing he could do about it. For the last hour and half, it was laughter and them getting to know each other more than what the bottle could do and in the chaos of clothes he couldn't find his tactical pad or anything else which meant for the next 3 or 4 hours they are going to be drifting towards the docks.
