Their relationship has always been different than the rest with less attachments and reliability that the other person was safe. Finally breaking away from the kiss, Jonathan knew there was a change and it was Kobol. The uncertainty of this place changed them both. While she spent scouting, he spent protecting and surviving in the harsh Site B with researchers who were exploring the site. He had been attacked by panthers who left scars on his ribs and taught him a hard lesson. Unpacking the tent, Jonathan unpacked the rope as his vest light came on to help him secure the tent and slowly the site with the bit of explosives but just behind them. Lack of tracks showed the animals didn't come here often but he was listening intently as he helped her with the fire pit. This was a side of Evia that he hadn't seen before and he knew that event had eaten her up; "It took them a while to send the medicine to use but we fought against the hallucinations. We sent a big fish to the Specialist thinking it was something else," igniting the wood before turning back to her, "Kobol left her mark on me," lift his shirt and jacket to reveal his old injuries on his ribs, "got too overconfident and panther got me at night then dragged me across the ground before I finally got my blade," lowering his shirt as he unbuttoned his jacket. Unpacking his gear, he laid out jerky he had since Site B but also set his gear aside; "I found the better view a long time ago though it was far from that star," smiling but deep down knew this is where he belonged. With the tent set up and the rest of the small camp secured, she had no fear that they would be found all the way out there, even with the glow of the fire. Slipping out of her jacket, Evanna tossed it onto the top of her pack, eyes widening slightly while she peered over the scars on his body, fingers delicately reaching out to move over the marks. She’d heard people talk about the wildlife, and how unforgiving it had been to most who ventured out too far. It was sheer luck that she hadn’t fallen sick and suffered the hallucinations like so many others, or become some hungry animal’s prey. In truth, her fight had been against other scouts who were out of their minds, and the scars she bared served as a reminder of how wild and untamed this place truly was. “Kobol hasn’t been too kind to either of us, it seems. Perhaps it’ll be easier now,” she smiled, taking a seat near the crackling fire. They had been lucky enough to find each other still alive, and despite the uncertainty of the future, being here only mattered if he was here too. Terra was their home, though it held more bad memories that good for her; the time spent with Jonathan was among the memories that helped block out the bad. With Terra gone, maybe this was finally the chance to let the past go with it. Turning back to him, she felt a smirk tugging at her lips. “Actually, I think I have the best view now. One that I would rather not go without.” A few months ago, he would have hesitated or even pull back from the scars or anyone touching them but not her. Its always been different with her. She was an outcast and so was he even though he had far different background yet he was always back here. Terrans, Cylons and now the wildlife seems like very few things can separate them. Reaching into his pack, he pulled out a canister of repellant that helped at Site B as he placed it into the ground. Smirking, Jonathan knew that was a view that either one of them haven't seen in a while; "Given the few times we've actually spent time together, I can still remember that view," leaning in to kiss her briefly. The one thing he did forget about was taste, it's usually the first thing to go but it was the tugging on the lower lip before delving in.

It was hard to imagine where she would be now if she hadn’t met him, or if she would have made it to Kobol at all. It had been in the back of Evanna’s mind lately, how much of a change she could see since the first meeting and how much he had impacted her life to this point. Before, she wouldn’t have bothered with a team, with watching anyone’s back or giving a damn about anyone else around her after losing too many people she’d loved. It seemed easier to be alone, and despite a part of that feeling following her here at first, it wasn’t what she wanted now. Surprised by the kiss, she returned it only to hold onto him for a moment, smirking against his lips. “Are you sure you remember?” she whispered, hands intertwining around the back of his neck. “It’s an easy thing to forget. I’m not sure I can take your word for it.” She chuckled softly, a glint of mischief in her eyes as she let him go, fingers then working to loosen the top button of her shirt.

Unlike her, Jonathan might be dead or even worse off than his time in prison but meeting her had given him a new perspective. Sitting in the bunker for six months, he had hoped that she was safe but unaware that she was in the wild otherwise he would've braved the wild to find her. His team has all but moved on but she has always been a person he could rely on and even more had feelings that evolved over time. The kiss had done more than what he expected; she shared the same feelings and maybe more but the kiss had him think about how much he truly missed her. Whispering to her as he pulled off his own shirt and boots, he thought over the first time they let; "Here to think you didn't want this on Terra. Just a vigilante and now you're a scout and a woman who I can't live without," blushing as he kissed her once more as he tugged on her lower lip to entise her. She quickly gave in as they embraced one another under the stars with the same intensity they shared the last time. Lying awake under the stars, he embraced her while staying alert to the outside and conserving his energy for later.

Stumbling off of the beach from the near sinking raft, still in shock from the resurrection process as he went from the ice to the endless forests. During his time there were few forests with the massive cities of the 12 nations with hot air balloons in between...that was replaced with trees. Running to a nearby cave, Aiden was surprised by how quiet it was...till he heard sonic booms all around him. Massive ships coming down only to fly overhead but he saw this as the invasion that the scientist had talked about and it was his job to repel boarders.
Staying crouched, Aiden had covered his skin in mud with his musket stripped to stand out less. His clothes were simple for his time with a black shirt and tactical pants but he had his military black jacket was open since it was so much more tropical than his time. Watching the forces move as well as operate, they appeared to move as one with a 4 or 8 man element and heavily armed as others he's seen recently. No one has moved like this not even Ares who often challenged his own troops and inspired the Kahuna Program.
Ducking back down, Aiden went back down into the caves to move to more of an overwatch position. The caves was once dug by the diplomatic Corp in a way of protecting the Prime Minister. No one except the military knew of the caves and now he was using them to learn from this new invasion force.

Hearing them talk for 5 months, the language was surprisingly simple and had learned that this is now a common language shared by these Terrans and Colonials.

Stripping them down, he found a spare uniform in the pack and began changing to put his skills to work. Shaving his beard, he listened to the radio chatter and soon recognized himself as this Daedalus individual but knew of the name as well. The gear was form fitting but tight even for him with a mixture of soldier and survivalist by build. Automatic weapons with some sort of attachment to hide the muzzle flash and sound...smart. Combining packs, he placed the suppressed SCAR on his pack before picking up the CSR and his hat. The tactical pad was useful since it kept track of all units in the field and had constant updates concerning the maps...they did have cities. These invaders were further along than what he had thought and could be worth investigating. One thing became evident, these invaders were naive and that was helping him move easier than he thought was possible.

Noticing a lot of blood on the ground but no prints or even more bodies since the wildlife would leave both. Kneeling down, Lewis picked up a leaf that had been covered in blood only to feel it to be still warm which meant recent. Daedalus was out here and Lewis was trying to get him before the Terrans took notice. Entering what appeared to be a man made cave, Lewis had seen a lot of things but these Terrans were killed with hatred in mind. Daedalus had exposed portions that the predators would eat but left behind clues. The musket was against the wall and still loaded but all the gear and weapons these soldiers had was gone. The man was heavily armed and had access to communications and information on the tactical pad...this was bad. Turning to a Marine, Lewis pulled himself together as he held his rifle; "I suggest riding back to Defiance but tell General Shepard that Daedalus has gained Titsn nobility," watching the man leave while he thought of where Daedalus could've went.

Pulling away from the side of the road, Gabe was surprised to find himself distracting as he thought over it; "I have some spare ammo and possibly targets for you to use though the weapon is an SMG with manageable recoil," she was using his own pun against him which it put a smile on his face. Maybe he was getting to her but either way she was definitely getting to him as he pulled up to the horses and turned off the car. Opening her door, the trunk popped open as he began preparing their SMGs for use starting by removing them from the case. Applying digital scopes to them with a laser system, he screwed on the suppressors as well as additional grips before loading a fresh magazine. Putting ten magazines aside for her, he loaded up on his ten plus five practice mags. Speaking softly, Gabriel needed to fill her in a bit; "The horses should take us as far west that we need and from there we have to retrieve someone named Sparky and Firecracker then head south west to capture Daedalus which no one has a picture of the guy." Pulling out his patched up backpack, Gabe loaded up a pair of P90s as well as food with a tent and tightly rolled blankets. Gabriel had read up on Kobol but much like Demetria this would be his first trip out as he spoke up; "While you're covering my back don't get too distracted though, "pulling out a spare watch and paired it with his, "a bit more fashionable than a tablet and so you don't get lost when you're easily distracted." Handing the weapon over, he game Apollo a snack before they headed for the horses which were made for this trip. Climbing onto the horse, he took point as he placed the rifle onto his back before starting off into the forest with Demetria behind him. Keeping Apollo between them, he knew the young pup could keep up with her distracted on him. Attachments:

4 hour flight... Taking off his helmet, Michael slept with his back against wall as his mind brought him back to the bedroom. Lying down with Samantha, they both were basking in the sunlight with her body ass up but relaxed. Running his hand over her body, her smile cause he was... Getting woken up by Jon, the pilots had issued the two mile advisory as the team started getting up; 'Time to put that helmet on, Shyguy.' Shaking his head, he waited for the hatch to open before tossing the helmet out; "Its time to build that frakkin team," climbing out with the Vector before stealing the M4A1 from the raptor, "get me a way to broadcast on all the channels. William can put a hold on his shit since I value one person over this shit," picking up the radio, "This is Commander Michael Martin, I've taken command of the Kobol Exploration Force and ordering all units to report to the front. We need to push to the West Coast and need the best to do so." Chucking the radio, he set the Vector down before preparing the M4A1 while thinking about his wife back in that bed. They were so relaxed and it was before the storm that they were always pulled into. She kept thinking either he was either going too far or wanted more fighting but he was remembering every detail including how the sunlight dipped along the texture of her body. Resting with the pup in tall grasses next to some ruins, Gabriel was napping till his watch woke him up with a message alert. Michael Martin was on the ground and taking command of a force but where was Samantha in this mess. Bringing up the map, it was a ten hour ride but knew with everyone now diverting to his coordinates and he could see that they would have to go through a valley to trim off hours. Placing the pup on the back of the horse, he led Demetria's horse with her exhausted as they slow walked through the valley. Walking the horses, he knew it would keep them both asleep till they reached the valley.

The camp that was here was ravaged with supplies dragged out including MREs ripped open from the animals. Kneeling down, he found a few magazines that were unused and on the ground which he slid into his holster. Flipping on the night vision, he could see the little chimps as he pulled out some food for one of them. Watching it approach him, it took the food before climbing onto his back. The creature was far different than even he expected with the endless grin and the horns on its head. Feeling it hold onto the back plating, Michael secured the suppressor before whispering to his new friend; "As long as you don't attack me well we should be good, little buddy." Starting into the jungle with Jon and the Marines, they needed to capture a Forward Operations Base before the main force arrives. Trekking into the darkness, Jon knew that chimp had often killed troops but maybe this one didn't see them as a threat. Passing over the tethered uniforms and bent rifles with the muddy walls of the tight space they were heading to a valley that was filled with ruins. Peering up, there were eyes looking down as they grabbed the Marines. Firing upward, Jon watched Michael and himself get lifted as they cut down the massive 12 foot gorilla. Changing mags, the forest came to life with the chimps but followed Michael's lead. This trench had stopped them to the massive city ruins which was now theirs and a new link to the West.

Firing up the all clear flare, Michael peered out onto the ruins as he walked along the grown over brick road. He hated being here without Samantha since he had no plans to do this again but now he needed a better way out. Having the intelligence agency find her, maybe hiding their location by moving out of the 100 block to private land. With all of that, Michael did blame himself for this situation and knew once they found Samantha that he'll have to make his move. Peeling the armor off, the jungle would typically have a warm night and having too much on would make it quite warm. Lighting up the trench with orange glow sticks, there wasn't a lot of ways through the gap but this would be a suitable camp. Turning to Jon, Michael rested his hands on his holsters as the passive gear lighting came on; "So Hellion huh? What happened?" Pulling his helmet off, Jon kept the lights on as he kneeled down to examine the brick barely standing out through the rough forest floor. It was clean and clearly manufactured in bulk likely in a mold. The brick was quite similar to the Terrans with their training in bulk but small defects made the brick more resistant than the others. Carefully placing it back into the ground, Jon spoke softly as he wiped the dirt off his hands; "The Cylons found our world and introduced our bots to a singular god. The war lasted a few years till the Cylons decided to wipe us out so only a few of us managed to escape. We knew you would come to Kobol so we waited and now we're refugees just like you." Taking off his rugged backpack, Jon found a lobby that was still enclosed and structurally sound; "Army should be here soon and I'll let you have first watch."

Reaching the rendezvous point, Gabriel had Demetria return to Corinth while he tackled this alone. He was unsure what he could do since his own experience is in desert environments not so much in the jungle. Walking the horse through the tight space, he could see the magnificent ancient city with great detail as he removed his shades only briefly. Some of the architecture was surely Tauron but there was surely a battle here but who was the question actually won.
Walking to a well lit area, Gabriel kneeled down to see Michael asleep with his rifle in hand. He was holding onto something but there was no knowing what it could be. The man was clearly broken and maybe he could help him with a technique he learned on Gemenon. Undoing the blanket from the horse, he placed it on the man before walking off to setup a suitable camp. He was low on water and his own rations which he could change soon enough.

Drifting asleep, Michael had been pushing himself hard since her passing and his body finally hit the brakes on him. Drifting back to the apartment on Terra, it was a simpler time with her sleeping in the bed nearby while he looked out onto the valley. The possibility of walking back to bed did cross his mind but he physically couldn't move as tears ran down his cheeks. All that time gone but his reflection was of his past with Sam beside him so was he meant to move on?
Waking up from the dream thanks to a pothole as he braced in his seat, turning to John as he tightened his vest; "Must you hit them all? I still see her and sometimes smell her," a single tear rolled down for he was still mourning. He would be mourning for a while but his mind was attempting to heal while he continued trying to be the person he was long ago.

Listening to them, Jonathan had the ropes prepared as well as cleaned out his M4A1 with the suppressor attached but .50 caliber rounds for Centurion engagements. He understood this cautious approach from Command since Kobol is very secure orbital wise but surface everything was unknown...this wasn't Terra. Soldiers like him were more useful than entire battalions and that was something the Colonials understood.
