He had already lost a friend, hearing the commotion outside from the Doctor trying to save him. Even those chasing him down, they were putting themselves at the end of the Butcher's blade. Kissing her forehead, he held onto her as he whispered to her, feeling her ease up; "I'd rather see Kobol than get stuck here but as long as I end up beside you then you're the best thing here." Grasping the thin black blanket as he threw it over them, he knew how cold it was on Kobol but the base seemed to be cold as well. She knew well enough the toll losing friends and teammates took. Eva had lived with it for so long, blaming herself for everyone she’d ever lost; making the worst decisions and being reckless, before finally deciding to turn her life around and do more good than harm, not only for her old squad, but for those she cared about now. She prayed that he would be fortunate enough not to lose another soul to the Butcher. When it was all over with, they would all have to learn to adjust to a new life on Kobol. ”I’m exactly where I want to be, and I don’t plan on leaving without you this time. This is our home now, and we’ll protect it together, from whatever may come.”Smiling, she snuck a quick kiss, eyes heavy with sleep. It hadn’t taken long for her to warm up next to him, only to drift off to sleep soon after. Honestly, his best night sleep since landing on this rock and loved lying beside Eva who surprisingly wasn't a kicker. Checking over the bandage, he hadn't strained himself and knew as long as he took it easy out in the wild. Kissing her forehead, he noticed the hospital was a bit chilly even for him as he looked over the time with only 30 minutes to go. Chasing down Issac was going to be a task, one of which his A.I was working on and presented options to him. The options weren't great but considering the targets' previous actions and even the limitations from those in pursuit then he would focus on where they can't go.

She had remained outside of the hospital for an hour or so after the doctor had gone. No matter what Bishop had said, she would still blame herself. Suppressing his memories would eventually lead to trouble, and it felt wrong to keep things from him. Until they could figure out where to go from here, it seemed they at least had a place by the ocean, which she hoped would bring some semblance of peace.
Rubbing the sleep from her eyes, Sam dumped her old, cold cup of coffee into the trash before returning to the base hospital. As she stood at the elevator doors, she couldn't help but to notice that a few people seemed to be rushing, trying desperately to hide the worry that she could see through. As much as she didn't want to worry, if something was going on, it was time for them to get out. She wanted answers, knowing surely someone on the base had information, but it would have to wait. When she reached the second floor, she stopped a nurse in the hallway. "Doctor Bishop has said that my husband is to be released soon. Please arrange for a transport to be brought in." Nodding in thanks, she turned to continue down the hall to Michael's room.

Slowly waking up, Michael had vague images of the night but it soon faded as the morning sun came in the room. Picking up the nutrition bar, everything else came forward as looked around the room to see spare clothes but no Samantha. Maybe she was asleep elsewhere or panicking about him being here once more but from what he could tell there was no visible injuries. One thing he did notice was the silence, it was just him in his head with Bones completely gone which was soothing. All those times that he just wanted to think and Bones was budding in with his aggressive tendencies which caused friction between him and Sam...but no more.
Moving the blankets aside, he saw the door open and Samantha at the doorway as he sat ready to get out; "Come to spring me out of here," smirking as he dropped down onto his feet. Keeping his hand on the bed till he gained his balance, taking a deep breath as he stood beside the bed; "The bed is uncomfortable and well looking forward to getting out of here."

The doctors might have said it was time to leave, but she stood firm in her belief that he still needed the time to recover. Sam wouldn’t say it, though, knowing he hated being there as much as she did. If she had been in his place, she would have relentlessly tried to get out. ”Doc needs the bed, so he’s officially kicking us out. Just... take your time, don’t go too fast,” she smirked, moving over to pick up his clothes and lay them on the bed before standing beside him to wrap an arm around his waist. With Bones gone, they had a chance to start over. They had their memories of the past, and maybe the opportunity to make new ones on Kobol or wherever they went. ”I’ve arranged for a transport. Looks like we’re going to be near the sea, for the time being. It should be peaceful enough.”

Lack the patience that the Colonial doctors have," spotting the wooden sword peeking through the blanket. His father had one similar to this one, a memento of his service and for Terrans it was similar to a flag that Colonials receive. Taking time to slip on the black pants and stepping into his shoes, he slipped the sword into a sheath before starting to the door. Sea side on Kobol. Sea side on Terra was costly and even for him hard to get so maybe sea side here isn't as bad...especially with them pretty spread out. Whispering to her, he figured she'd take care of everything much like he used to; "Maybe I can make a proper breakfast once we get there or I can draw you a bath."

Reports from all across the Cascade Mountains were coming in and painted the picture of six sonic booms that affected the surrounding area. Sonic booms affected the ancient ruins which a lot of teams were using for cover. This could be a primitive attack from the Cylons which had Jack and Lucius worried. Taking another stim, Jack finished suiting up as he sent a request to the nearby outpost for several horses. Taking another truck would just leave it out there but with the discovery of horses were quite useful. Picking up secure radio gear, Jack turned to Lucius as he finished filling his pack; "Put everyone on a heightened state of alert till I can figure this out." Nodding, Lucius knew it would take time to equip the missile pods to the Raptors and bombs to all aircraft; "Make visual, access numbers and once possible give your coordinates and I'll have enough bombs there to level the area," passing down the orders for everyone to move to level two. Browsing the available teams, they had one team on the base but most of them were injured; "I'm sure Colonel November would be open to helping you." Agreeing, he walked out of the office with his gear on his back and pack in hand. Tapping his radio, he knew he would have to pull Alpha Team out of the hospital since they had a better understanding of the terrain than himself; "I need an officer to get Captain Harperson to his feet and get Colonel November combat ready." Walking out to grass, he dropped his gear as the horses were getting fitted with saddles with a pack horse to follow. Opening one of the weapon crates to pull out a rifle with grenades for his launcher that he was carrying.

Its believed that a Cylon strike force may have landed on Kobol." Noticing Jonathan nodding to his words, closing the door as he stood beside the door with his weapon beside him.

Walking out to grass, he dropped his gear as the horses were getting fitted with saddles with a pack horse to follow. Opening one of the weapon crates to pull out a rifle with grenades for his launcher that he was carrying. Slipping on his combat gear, Doctor Bishop had him on light combat which meant he was going to use a P90. Placing the rifle into his left leg holster, he added his pack to the pack horse as he turned to Jack; "Mountain is a hard climb but it'll be easier to climb with daylight just need to pack oxygen." Sitting down on a crate, John had spent the better part of the night working out to use his arm during any mission. He may have not been Spec Ops but he had never sat out a mission and wasn't going to do it here though riding on horses will be something new.

Landing in the base, the Viper flew over to elevated platform to get refueled and armed while the fuel truck came over to the Raptor. Climbing out, the nurses met all of them on the black concrete runway to evaluate them considering the EM field they had encountered. Having himself and Longshot report to the hospital, they needed to go through extensive decontamination to get the residual energy off of them.
Stripping out of his gear and clothes, a portable shower was soon setup with soldiers in decontamination gear to scrub him off. Changing into blue fatigues, Victor headed over to Jack as he briefed him; "Bones is neutralized but subject is in Ha'La Tha control which Jackel and Stonebridge is hunting down the target."

Approaching Jack with the shot hard drives, William set them down in front of John as well as he unzipped his jacket; "During the exchange, Mr. November must've hit the hard drives but we have confirmed the A.I known as Bones is confirmed dead. As for Mr. Robinson, Liam and Tom are exploring the Ha'La Tha side so we should expect to hear something soon." Telling them what he knew would hopefully put them at ease, he knew even when they were on the ground they had felt like they had failed. With the suspected Cylon threat, he hoped now they could be focused on the task at hand.

Smirking, John now felt better about his decision since the bastard never got what he wanted though he knew Sparky would be after him. Shit, Jonathan was the true tracker in all of this since his skill got them over the mountain and to the bunker. Now, that same skill would have to get them back onto that mountain to investigate these claims concerning the Cylons. Watching the nurses attend to the rest of the Beta Team, it was a bit satisfying for him not to have an A.I especially after going through all that EM. He had seen what that much EM did to Tom and Jonathan at Site B before they put the cover in place.

Keeping her arm around him as they walked through the door, Sam only stopped momentarily at the nurses station to check out before continuing down the hall. ”You should focus on resting instead of worrying about me.” She smiled, appreciative of his offer. After everything he’d been through, she figured he would have wanted to sleep for days as long as it wasn’t in a hospital bed. ”I think we could both use a bath,” she began, smirking, ”I know it’s hard to rest in a place like this. It isn’t home, or anything like Terra, but it’s a fresh start. Maybe one day it could be.” For years she had tried to picture every place she went as Tauron, even when she first got to Terra. They were nothing alike, but Tauron was now restored, thriving with each day but still just as dangerous. Just as she’d remembered it. ”Looks like the transport is here, too.”

She knew him too well and sleeping in the hospital wasn't the same and knew she was stressed out. Walking with her, he was slowly regaining his balance as he whispered to her; "Babe, anywhere with you is home. Here. Tauron. Even back to the Independence," stepping outside with her as they approached the transport. Spotting a few salutes, Michael took a seat on the transport as he waited for her. He was walking away from a part of his life that he had been trying to escape for so long and only till now was truly away.

Eva smiled, half awake when she felt the warmth against her forehead. Sleeping on the forest floor had been more comfortable than a hospital bed, but thankfully they won't have to stay any longer. After they caught up to the Butcher and he was taken care of, there would be time for them to rest and sleep in an actual bed for a change. Stretching a bit, she was about to say something before they were joined by a Marine with the worst possible news. Had the Cylons truly made it to Kobol already? She was unhappy with the idea of not going after Issac just yet, but the Cylon threat endangered them all. They wouldn't have a chance to settle on this rock if they were taken out first. "Gods dammit. Is there nowhere we can go that they won't follow?" Eva would fight then if need be, despite what she was feeling. The memory of being back on the Cylon home world stuck on her mind, how she nearly died there. The last thing she wanted was to taken out by a frakking toaster. "We'll get him, don't worry. It just looks like we're going to have to put our little adventure on the back burner for now."

Dismissing the Marine, he knew this was a pain since any Cylon threat would have to be dealt with quickly but knew Issac was on the list. Slowly getting out of bed, he worked on changing out of the thin hospital clothes to his black fatigues that were laid out; "Cylons probably had a hard drop like we did when we came in and we know the terrain." Picking up spare bandages, Jonathan carefully wrapped it around his lower abdomen to protect the work the doctors had done. Leaning in, he knew of her previous experience on the Cylon Home World and knew she was still cautious about his injuries. Whispering, he slipped on his watch with his tactical pad on his arm; "This time I got you at my side so Cylons and the Butcher are fracked," kissing her to reassure her. Jonathan is one of the few people that have traveled through the harshest terrain on Kobol and knew they could easily repel the Cylons due to them being spread out like this.
