Noticing the board going green, the Basestar blindly jumped away from the Battlestars, past its red line into uncharted space. Wondering why the Hybrid initiated the jump, Alex shrugged it off as the Centurions continued the repairs.

Vice-Admiral Shane Naguchi stood in the CIC, looking intently at the command console. He was concerned for the ships in the Terran fleet, as they had been taking the brunt of the Cylon attack. Suddenly the communications officer, a middle-aged man from Virgon, called out to him.

"Admiral, we are receiving urgent calls from the terran ships. They have wounded they wish to send our way."

"Captain, send a message to the fleet informing them that wounded need to be off loaded from the terran ships and find out where that damn hospital ship is."

"Aye Sir, sending message now."

A Colonial Raptor lifted off the ground in the city of Sparta and began moving away from Terra, up and up into the airspace. Sitting in the co-pilot's seat, Sam stared out the window, watching as the planet got further and further away. The Battlestar Atlantia was soon in sight. She reached for the comm and radioed the ship, signaling the pilot to head in for a landing.

"Atlantia, this is Samantha Martin in Raptor 839 ..... coming in to land. Will report to the CIC soon. -Sam, out."

She set the comm back down in it's cradle and waited as the pilot made his approach towards the hanger. Sam unbuckled and grabbed her bag, heading for the rear compartment of the raptor.

As Fleet Captain Morgan Stanley, Terran Defense Forces (npc) on board the Gunstar Cepheus

Watching as the battel continued to rage, Captain Stanley was also listening to his Chief Engineering Officer, Lieutenant Kit Carson and the Chief Engineer, Senior Chief Roney Gran. Both individuals were telling him the ship was in danger of being destroyed. Fires were consuming the ship and it was beyond being able to vent the fire into space.

Before he could say anything, the DRADIS officer, Ensign Shelly Jasper called out.

"SIR! The supply ship Zeta is calling for assistance Sir, they are abandoning ship."

Captain Stanley walked over to the young woman's station, at about the same time that a massive explosion rocked the entire ship, throwing him to the deck. Getting to his feet, he looked around the CIC. Smoke was everywhere, and half his CIC crew was laying on the deck, most of them already dead. Alarms were going off all around him. He looked for the Engineering Officer and found her body slumped over the command table, blood oozing out of her neck. The Senior Chief was also dead, the scene too horendous for Captain Stanley to take. Looking down at the young Ensign, he gave the order to abandon the ship.

"Pass the word Ensign, abandon ship. All personnel to the life pods. Inform the Fleet we are dead."

Before the Ensign could send out the call to the Fleet or the crew, another large explosion rocked the ship, this time tearing it in half.

Seconds later, the ship blew apart.

Off to the distance, the BSS-2011 Zeta, supply ship, did the same, killing all personnel on board.
