"General we got most of the crew on-board our ship and the cargo ship. The Battleship is still in combat and holding off rest of the fleet. The Terran's are our priority now, I got word that the RA has taken the Intelligence team on-board." "Good Yogi can have them anything to get the Cylon's to stop attacking. Have the soldiers help all on the ship, once everyone is on-board let's get them looked over and fed."

On board the Battlestar Acheron
J stood there, looking at the DRADIS console when he witnessed two ships disappear from the screen. Turning to look at Colonel Admiral, J stammered a bit before speaking.
"Colonel, I think we just lost two more ships. We gotta get into gear and see what damage we can do to those frakking Cylons."
Colonel Admiral nodded to the Navigation Officer, who then proceeded to jump the Acheron back to Terra.

The smell of retch filled the cabin of the Raptor. Dualla checked the sensors for radiologicals and biologicals, then opened the fresh air vents to blow the sour odor aft and dispel it into the exhaust. "Don't feel too bad, plenty of new pilots puke on their first small ship Jump. It's not as smooth as a liner, or a Battlestar." Clayton knew that intimately. It was years ago that, after the paranormal events he'd experienced, and the clairvoyance he'd demonstrated, that he developed a tuning of his life-force to the energies of FTL drives. He remembered when Galactica's FTL core started losing elements, and the enormous mission they'd embarked on to strip the mothballed Pegasus of her superior core elements. That had given the old Battlestar a fourth again as much power as when she was new. He'd never lost 'the touch' since then. He had often thought of exploring that avenue more, but things went in another direction. Now, here he was, much freer to follow psychic pathways. Though, what had just occurred was far more mundane. "There's clean fatigues in the storage closet, and wipes in survival kit. Go clean up and change. We won't peek - promise, will we, Lieutenant?" That question was asked with the growl of a former Colonial Colonel. The fresh-faced kid shook his head quickly. The bald man smiled. "What's your name, son. Not .... Wojohowicz," Clayton added, reading the lad's name tag. The boy's youth made his forty-three years feel like an eternity. He'd been that way once. That was the Clayton who Commander Bobberman had enlisted to repair the main computer with the paralleled units pirated from most of Galactica's Raptors. She'd worked better than before since then, and they'd never gone back to the original configuration. They just added more Raptor processors for more computing power. "Uh, Joey, sir," the pilot replied hesitantly. "You ever pull twenty G's, Joey?" Brown eyes opened wide. "Uh, no, sir, Mister, I mean, Colonel Dualla." This kid was beguiled already. Clayton smiled expansively. "We had a fighter called a Hammerhead, quick as a Viper, but with gun turrets and two FTL's. It allowed for all kinds of special maneuvers. It was a wicked, lovely ship." He remembered his ship, with her name and picture on it. Anastasia. The pain had been years in healing, and there was still a hole at the center of his being, but he felt that she would have been proud of him, and what he had done afterwards. That was the most beautiful time of his life. He also remembered one of the most horrible ones. That, too, had taken years to get over, and the damage it caused. He looked at the pilot again. "Ever been in love with a Cylon Commander?" A mouth dropped open and the boy stammered. "You ... I, mean, No, Sir, but, I wasn't expecting that?" Clayton nodded. "Nobody ever does. You were probably expecting me to ask if you'd ever been in a Tauron prison, right?" Those prisons were run by the Ha'La'Tha, and some who lived through them wished that they'd never lived to be incarcerated. Or so he'd been told. Being son of a Sagittaron priest, and of the priestly line of that colony, his life had been very different. He knew that where he was, and what he was, would be nothing like now if he had not come from the backwards colony. He'd been a misfit there, and had found his people in the Fleet. Now, was he looking for a new people? Having cleaned herself up as best as she could, considering the lack of proper facilities, Judith came back into the main cabin of the raptor, embarassed and still feeling a bit woozy. Sitting down, she looked at the Colonial Colonel. "So tell me Colonel, where exactly are we heading? Now that the President has returned from wherever he was, my presence is somewhat limited in need. I mean, the Cylons are still attacking and all and it sounded as if nuclear weapons were being employed. Where is there a safe place for us to go if the Cylons are going to start using nukes?" (OOC-am also posting this in Terran Airspace, since we have jumped in a raptor.

Frakking great! I resigned and just follows me. He sighed.
"Well, we did need to find the President. Now that they're nuking, I see that it's more complicated. Probably all the more reason to find the Prez and tell him about the Cylon experiments I've seen. There are two factions at odds with each other here. It could be a Cylon civil war." Dualla studied the DRADIS. "Not knowing where he's holed up, we could waste too much time looking for him. There's no place for me back with the Colonials, so, I really do not know where we are exactly heading right now. This is your world ... any thoughts? Either of you?"

Gets the PA All vipers launched now I SAY AGAIN I WANT ALL OF OUR BIRDS IN THE AIR please and general i need your help in the CIC the commander is not her so ill be in command right now so i need you to be my temporary XO Looking at Colonel Admiral, J nodded his head in agreement. "Colonel, whatever you need from me, I'm here to provide it. Just remember I'm a Colonial Marine, so this being a Fleet officer is going to take a bit to get used to. I understand the Commander is in your sickbay in a coma?" J was also busy monitoring the progress of the fight with the crippled basestars to their port side. Having jumped behind the enemy's lines, the Acheron was in a position to fire on the four damaged basestars the Cylons had pulled back from the fight. Already, their arrival was causing the remaining basestars to divert their attention towards them and not the rest of the Fleet. Now there was some breathing room for the other Colonial and Terran ships, enough that the tide was soon to be turned against the Cylons, both here and on the planets surface. Grabbing the PA near him, J made an announcement to the ship. "Attention Acheron crew, this is General Castorious. I am assuming the position of XO of the ship.Colonel Admiral is officially assuming the position of Commander, until such time as the Commander is able to assume his command. I will be assuming all duties surrounding the ships damage control and weapons duties. All Marines will still report to Major Grover, who is currently on board and getting her Marines to their stations. XO out."

Judith thought for a second then looked at the pilot. "Young man, do you know the way to Eresea?" Looking at the Colonial Colonel, Judith explained her choice. "Colonel, Eresea is a large island nation set in the fog shrouded western ocean. Visibility within the atmosphere makes it difficult enough for pilots to locate it, usually not until they're practically on top of it so I'm certain the Cylons won't detect it from space. There's not much in the way of night time illumination coming from the cities. Most of it is blocked by the constant fog or mist or whatever it is that puts a veil on the island. This is also how the place has remained relatively untouched by people. There are grand caverns within the mountains of the island so we have protection from nukes and raiders, should they stumble across the place. And if they do, there is a remarkable defensive network in place all over the island." Judith spoke to the pilot again. "Young man, look in your flight manual and you will find the coordinates you need. Your DRADIS will be useless until you are 50 kilometers out. The island will then activate its transmitters and send a signal for you to lock on to. It's been done this way for many years, which is why the island is one of only a few autonomous regions, with the exception of the Gondawan highlands." Judith realized her "sudden" knowledge of military information and coordinates and the like would attract the attention of the Colonial officer. But he DID say he had no place with the Colonials. Perhaps this was an opportunity to feel the waters, so to speak, to see if this man were interested in allying himself with the Terran government and military. After all, they sure could use someone with his level of experience if the Terrans were to be united fully. Reaching into her satchel, Judith pulled out a map and unfolded it, showing it to the Colonel. "Here, take a look at this Colonel."

"Acheron, this is the CAG. I am airborne along with the 11TH Phantoms, over"
Keying her comm over to the squadron, she called out to Squadron Leader Lt JG Mackenzie "Juggler" Kinder (NPC).
"Lieutenant Kinder, you take LtJG Jon "Renegade" Little, Ensign Starscream and Ensign Whiskey08 and cover the right. I'll take Ensign Rayzilla, Ensign Pieter Darius, Ens. Aurora Carlisle. and Ensign Maarek to our left, copy?"
"Copy that CAG. All right, Renegade, Starscrean, Whiskey-you're with me. Lets' give 'em hell people!"
K called out to her wingmen.
"Rayzilla, Darius, Carlisle, Maarek-spread out and let's get cracking!"
Throttling up, the squadron set course for the incoming horde of raiders. Soon thereafter, the remaining vipers of the squadron were airborne and splitting up equally to join the two groups.
"Acheron, we are engaging the enemy, CAG out."

As Captain Yana Dra'al, Acheron Air Wing (NPC)
"Acheron Acheron, we got raiders on the run, say again, raiders are pulling away, towards the planet. Hold Acheron."
Captain Dra'al watched as approximately thirty raiders headed for what appeared the safety of the planets atmosphere. Suddenly, two gunstars jumped into the path of the raiders, each swinging its bow in opposite directions, and their point-defense cannons opeing up. The resulting effect was the disintegration of every raider.
"Tally-ho Acheron! Terran gunstars have jumped into their path, raiders are gone, say again, raiders are gone!"
She could barely hold her excitement but the sudden appearance of several dozen more raiders coming straight at her brought her to the moment.
"Acheron, inbound bogeys, I estimate close to one hundred, over. All Vipers this sector, on my wings. Let's see how many we can stop before they head to Acheron."
Pushing the pedals to the floor board and swinging her Viper to the right, Yana began firing into the horde of raiders, shrapnel hitting her plane as she flew straight into them. Looking to her left, she saw the same was happening with others from her squadron. It looked as if the Cylons were determined to win this thing.
Too bad the humans felt the same way.

*Back in the CIC as Atlantia rises up into orbit slicing through the Atmosphere. Deploying the guns helping the Terran's our new allies launching our vipers and raptor's. Loading Terran signatures into our Dradis as the ship's quadrupedal beating the Cylon ship's back. Watching them flee helping our brothers with repairs and and help in understanding the Rogue Cylon threat.
Pacing back and forth as I can't help to fiddle with my wife's ranks in my pocket. Cocking my head over to Bri watching her become more of a women each day.*
