Taking a seat on his bed, Jason found it odd that the SFs had openly exchanged their gear with non members but maybe things change. The new list of Generals are all former officers of the SF except for Kodiak; that old bastard was his former boss back on Terra before he left the SFs before the war. Much like Kodiak, he was against A.I augmented troops since short of being new these troops would be heartless to an extent...now he was surrounded by them. Being augmented, these SFs have an A.I keeping them alert and even manipulating their bodies to resist the environment. His misconceptions were not founded especially given that the Specialist acted quicker than he could in his prime. Picking up his well insulated leather jacket with his old SF and Navy patches but his Rangers were a concept that have a few members. Gabriel and himself are the only members for now but General Thrax wanted to erase the SF memory with these Rangers and he was up for it. Handing the kid a crutch with his jacket, Jason spoke softly as he too got dressed; "Come on, kid, maybe i can still train you to be a Ranger and maybe put those skills to use." Carefully slipping on his boots, Samuel had Rebecca help him get his boots on as he slipped the heavy jacket on with his crutch under his right arm. Following Jason out, Samuel knew there was a backup airlock as they headed to it but not before picking up a pair of keys. Stepping outside, Samuel walked through the snow to the back of the truck before noticing more boxes; "Well, Yoda, we can do the training after the meds wore off and I can walk straight," setting the crutch aside as he unzipped his jacket. Climbing into the front only to drive over to her mini, she gave the base coordinates to Jason before leaving the truck. Those three were sorta funny but all experienced and two of them were impacted by each other especially given that John keeps calling Samuel a kid. Driving ahead of them, Rebecca was receiving live updates on the science teams and adjusted speed with her steering clear. The artic was classified under Operation Cerberus since the 13th tribe wasn't the only impact here with Scorpia and Aerilon were visibly here which wasn't seen elsewhere. Soon arriving at the base, cranes were still assembling the modular base but the General had his operations in mobile bases.

Leaning against his poor excuse for a desk, Lucius was observing the delicate landing of the Leviathan as it attempted a vertical landing. The massive aircraft carried scientific equipment with the scientists and civilian contractors who frakkin volunteered for this popsicle. Watching the aircraft finally set down, a loud thunder echoed as the glacier hit the bottom of the ocean and partially cracked the glacier itself.
Hearing the doors open, Lucius turned his attention to Jason, a man he read up on but never met; "Jason Chase, you are practically a legend in both the SF and in the Navy, my condolences to your squad. We found those Centurions you mentioned in your report," loading up a holographic copy, "they has the symbol believed to be 13th Tribe."

Nodding to Lucius, he set out a chair for the Specialist before analyzing the report to find the markings had matched nuclear facility. The tribe must've made these as guardians but how could they survive so long in the snow and long periods of no sunlight. Speaking up, Jason remembered the ruins they found and how the Centurions avoided that area; "When we landed, we setup a bullet storm drone in nearby ruins but the system never fired a bullet. It seems like they actively avoided those ruins." Helping the Specialist take a set, he knew the ruins had an answer that could help explain why the tribe would depend on Centurions for defense. Even more, why did the other Colonies implemented the same level of trust into artificial life...did the 13th tribe leave a larger scar on their Colonial counterparts?

Watching the Specialist take a seat, he knew the kid really showed his skills in the previous mission and documented the room so they can solve the issue. Digging out a bronze bar, Lucius set down the new ranks for Samuel as he set them down; "Good job, 3rd Lieutenant," turning back to Jason as he listened carefully about these ruins, "well, sounds like we should go check it out." Noticing everyone looking at him, he was honestly tired of sitting on his ass and watching water turn into ice; "I have my truck outside and you can walk me around on how you defeated them. I seriously doubt they made 4 Centurions and ended production and there are other Colonies wondering how they built artificial life so quickly on Kobol," gathering his gear as they headed outside.

Doctor Bishop
Setting up synthetic blood infusions but both Tom and Liam seemed to have some of the worse luck on Kobol. The radiation had penetrated their DNA which was damaging but they were reversing the damage with an intense extraction. The plastic wraps had a compound that attracted radiation to it so it was being pulled through the skin and they had to keep to keep them moisturized. The A.Is were providing vital information to them but they weren't equipped for this on Kobol. Everything being used is a one time thing and he wasn't going to let his patients die to restrict supplies.
Since Site B, Bishop read the report that the 13th tribe did something on the lines of playing God that the rest didn't like. Ironically, they did the same when they created the Cylons but was the design original or a blueprint from the ones they stole it from? Bishop had thought long and hard about this as he worked.

Slowly waking up, something seemed off as he noticed a gantlet on his arm with a collar on and computer screens as Doctor Bishop rushed over to him. Hearing a voice in the distance, Chris spoke up but only saw Bishop beside him; "Where is the other person? I can hear them." Speaking softly, Bishop read over the charts before removing the collar for everything seemed to be in working order; "Your injuries were severe and there was no other way."Puzzled by the Doctor, now he wondered what they did and now pondered on why he was restrained; "What the frak did you do," hearing the voice but unable to comprehend. Pulling over a chair, Bishop took a seat as he spoke to the young man; "In order to save your life, we had to flush out your contaminated blood and replace with synthetic blood. To speed up the healing," pausing as he set down an empty hard drive on his bed, "you've been implanted with an A.I called Morgan. She's helping to heal you heal but there is no reversal but others will help you adapt. Get some sleep and helps if you don't ignore them," getting up as the Terran Marine stood at the door.Tears poured down his face, he had become an augmented soldier and knew his life wasn't going to be the same...

Lowering the radiation count with their chemicals and salts to the point that they could now work on the site. Engineers worked carefully to defrost the ship to move it from the site.
Wearing a Class V protective suit, Doctor Henderson stepped through the airlock with his team as well as a team of Marines. Walking across the rubber matting to the main cavern, stepping through the secondary airlock before starting downstairs. LED lights were strung up so they could walk around the facility but Henderson was focused on the console highlighted by the Specialist. Henderson had seen a console similar...not similar but exactly like this on Terra. See Henderson was a Nuclear Engineer and he knew how to shut down reactors but without reading the console he started the safe shutdown protocols.
Soon, the reactor began to power down as his Caprican counterpart spoke up; "How did you manage to do that?"
Speaking softly, Henderson peered down to see a stone cover close over the frozen reactor; "Terran designs are similar since we had quite a few on Terra but...maybe we're related to the 13th Tribe?"

Given the all clear by the Engineers, Oliver and the Marines entered the main chamber in a mix of hazmat and tactical gear as they rushed down the stairs with rifles drawn. The order to secure was one they were taking seriously since this site offered a lot of insight into the 13th Tribe and maybe why they left. Sticking C4 into the ice, Oliver took cover before blowing up the ancient doorway to a disorganized room. Large enough to fit 50 people comfortably, they found nothing but ancient crates and books strung out across the room. Carefully walking around, Oliver noticed a symbol on the floor as everyone rushed to uncover it; a bipedal lion with a sword. It was far different than the other tribes which had to mean this was a 13th Tribe structure. Getting up, Oliver knew this was the place could answer a lot of questions including where were they going. The papers had writing that has been untouched since they were written aandthe crates were filled with what appeared to be personal belongings. Tapping his radio, Oliver knew this was part of something bigger as the Marines continued down; "Oliver to Lucius, we've got the playbook. I repeat we have the playbook."

Arriving at the ruins with a research team already on site and the rovers assembling a modular base for them to live close to their work. Stopping the Jeep nearby, Lucius had his Marines go in to disarm the site while observing the the still active bullet storm drone. They needed to get close enough to send the deactivation signal but they were feeling the effects of the ruins. Dropping to his knees, it felt like his muscles were tensing up with the other Terrans as if the site had an effect on them. Slowly crawling away, he noticed that Jason was unaffected by it as well as the researchers and even John which meant it was only the A.I augmented personnel. Finally getting far enough away, Lucius wiped the blood from his nose before radioing them with Samuel beside him; "I guess we'll have to rely on the old NSOTOs otherwise prolonged exposure might kill some of us." Watching the General and the Specialist drop, Jason now understood why the Centurions stayed away from the area. The Marines pushed forward but those augmented had to stay away with them suffering from a noise that he couldn't hear. Sending the stand down signal, Jason signaled Lucius but knew he would be out here to relay the discoveries. Noticing the amazed Marines who were uncovering the explosives, amazed that there was enough to create a ten foot crater and erase the ruins. Standing where he was, Jason could see the outcrop where he was months ago with one of his Rangers. They were holding out against Centurions that even now they don't know where they came from.

The noise was immobilizing with him still in the Jeep which forced him to crawl out of the Jeep and spraining his ankle. Yelling out in pain, the kid hit the ground as he started to crawl with his A.I clearly in pain; snow accumulating in his boot which froze his ankle. Instinctively, he was running from danger but it was more of an unseen danger as he collapsed beside the General. Blood had accumulated in the snow from his A.Is near death but was this a warning? This was both unusual and an oddity for the other sites never reacted to them outright unless it was a way to stop A.I based life. Getting help from Lucius, he could barely put weight on his ankle but the snow help keep down the swelling. Now his fears expanded to the old Alpha camp and knew soldiers would die before making it to the surface; "We need to pull back former SFs before our men die."

Reaching the key site, nicknamed the silo, Rebecca had no idea what had happened at the ruins but could hear something but she figured it was her lack of sleep. Unpacking her rifle, she locked up her vehicle before heading towards the airlock but dropped to the ground before a pair of Marines carried her back. The alert had been sent out to the silent with Terran Marines carrying back the SF soldiers. The sound was disabling her and seemed to be specific but proved to be a weapon. Returning to her vehicle, the Marines were setting up a barrier with the warning that augmented troops should keep their distance.

Helping to pull the gear off a dead SF, the warning was 10 minutes too late and it became clear that they needed to find the cause. Ten men dead either from the inability to outrun the sound or self inflicted wounds knowing that they can't escape it but this incited the order to find the signal.
Leading the Marines downward, they were hundreds of feet down below the surface and were continuing down past the ancient reactor. The lights of the vests and rifles lit up the surroundings as chatter stayed down with them searching. Scuffing against the near black concrete walls, Oliver signaled everyone to stop as he noticed the indications of cables on the floor. Slowly moving forward, the cables led into a room underneath the reactor with Oliver frozen to what was inside...must've been thirty skeletons around the room with an item in the center.
Almost like the double helix, the skin was overlapping pieces of metal with 3 open sides and a visible metallic core. The skeletons weren't trying to reach the core but instead appeared to be relaxed around it with journals and books along the wall. There was no radiation in the room and some of the dead weren't in stages of decomposition. Tapping his radio while throwing down glow sticks, they needed to know what this is and if it was connected to the sound; "This is Lt. Hudson of Echo, I'm going to need Doctor Bishop and Armstrong down here. We found something."

Doctor Armstrong Already on site, Armstrong is the lead archaeologist of the expedition and was amazed by the level of technology that they were finding here. He had been with Bravo Team at Site B and for all the glamor there it didn't match this site. By the mixture of stone, concrete and steel could mean this is an ever evolving site which had significance to the 13th Tribe. Starting down the stairs, the dead were being placed in body bags to be taken up to the surface. Reaching Oliver, the room was lit up as he slipped on gloves to examine the bodies; "Lt, you found something quite important. So the ones with journals are either scientists or important persons. No contaminants but by the writing in the journals that they died abruptly but we'll get these translated."
