Climbing up to the surface, he noticed Rebecca on alert as if she heard something after all any wildlife here is undocumented. Popping three red smoke canisters as he placed them into a funnel to control the concentration and ensure it's not a waste as he soon went for the hunting rifle.
A growl. Not a small growl but one that echoed through the trees which meant the creature was large and they must've been in it's territory. Noticing a hook hovering over them, he connected the crate before undoing the net to put in the back of the raptor. Suddenly, a massive twelve foot leopard leaped onto the raptor which sent the ship spiraling out of control as the crate fell back into the bunker.
Shooting the leopard, Samuel tapped his radio as he noticed the glass in the cockpit starting to crack to the point of chips raining down on them; "Mayday, get the frak out of there! That thing must think your a frakkin ball!"
Changing mags, he spotted Mayday jumping out as the raptor exploded upon impact with a tree; "So...welcome to the outback."

That thing must think your a frakkin ball!" Changing mags, he spotted Mayday jumping out as the raptor exploded upon impact with a tree; "So...welcome to the outback." Leaving base camp with a tow kit attached at the bottom, a day and half here and he's honestly done looking at his crappy accommodations and now the possibility of returning home was nice. Flying over the jungle till he could see a plume of smoke, the gap in the trees was big enough for several raptors as he dropped his tow line and slowly lowered in. Getting low enough for Samuel to place a net of supplies inside, he began raising up as noticed movement in the trees; "Please don't frak me," suddenly the leopard leapt onboard, "gods dammit." One paw had broken through the glass and the weight of the thing meant orbit was a no go as he secured his helmet. Dropping the cargo, he opened the bay doors to drop the net as he tried to shake the damn thing off. Massive cracks splintered into small deep ones that began compromising his hull integrity before agreeing his Samuel. Grabbing his pack, he leapt out of the raptor only to see the leopard do the same thing; "Giant mother frakkin leopards! What the hell?!"

Relieved to see the crate in the air being lifted, that would soon disappeared as the crate came crashing down with an explosion happening not too far after. Leaping clear of the crate, Victor now wondered what in the hell was going on but that faded as he heard gun fire with the truck drifting overheard as if something was pushing it. Spotting the ropes move, Victor as well as Oliver and Daniel began climbing up the rope to see a massive leopard slamming against the Jeep with Samuel killing a smaller one.
Grabbing his rifle, Victor took aim at the bigger leopard which was slamming against the vehicles like they were toys. Climbing into the truck, Victor opened one of the crates as he loaded a grenade launcher as he fired onto the leopard which only scared it for now.
Setting the launcher down, he went into one of the smaller cases to grab the simplest of trackers...a mere isotope that the tactical pad could track. Setting down a tritium isotope in the crack in the bunker door, taking a deep breath as he perred over his truck; "James, get in the back with the launcher and strap down," climbing into the truck, "keep doing what your doing."

Climbing into the truck, Samuel thought that the swamp was going to be difficult but the forest may never be tamed. Carrying his rifle, Samuel clamped into the truck as he fired onto the leopards that were now coming out of the canopy as they sped through the jungle. Every bump, turn and jump affected his aim and luckily Daniel was diving alongside as he noticed the incline; "Where are we going brother?" Noticing Victor shrugging, Samuel could see less trees and noticed more rock...that sound was quite familiar...oh shit. Clamping his rifle down, he climbed in as noticed Victor turning into the water; "If we die I wanted to tell you this...I frakkin hate you," buckling in as he braced, "I REALLY hate you!"

Listening to Daniel, they knew of the only way to lose the scent was to wash it off but even more have these bastards think that they were dead but it would have to be planned. The gas tanks had four chambers and now they were in the process of closing the chambers so they wouldn't lose all the fuel at once after all the plan required pushing these vehicles past that breaking point.
Hitting the stream, the current was pushing them as he strapped in with Samuel complaining; "Don't worry I hate you too," giving it one last push on the throttle before going over the edge. Turning off the vehicle, he handed Samuel and James an underwater breather as the Jeep fell beside them. It was almost like being in space as the cargo lifted but the water was getting closer...soon they hit it as they sank.
The current pushed them past boulders and debris, banging up the vehicles a bit but it would be nothing later. Getting stuck on a gravel shore, they all piled out to push the vehicles onto the shore which meant avoiding the jungle but meant disassembling the engine.

Getting stuck on a gravel shore, they all piled out to push the vehicles onto the shore which meant avoiding the jungle but meant disassembling the engine. Washing up on the gravel shore, he knew that the engines would have to be drained and new oil added before they could start them up. Even though the interior was waterproof, there was water still dripping down and he was sure all the equipment was flooded. Turning to Rebecca, Daniel unlocked the back as the Specialists began stacking rocks for a fire; "Let's unpack the camping gear while Liam," turning to the Lieutenant, "solve our water in motor issue." Grabbing his rifles as well as his pack for he needed to dry out his weapons to prevent water damage or damaging the rifling. Walking out onto the rocks, he laid out a blanket as he laid his weapons down as well as his pack yet spotted something in the distance that wasn't attacking them.

Starting a small fire, Samuel stripped down to his boxers and shirt while Victor hung up the clothes to dry with James working on the motor. Unpacking the camping gear, Samuel found fishing gear but knew with the fishing line he could hook up the line on a crossbow after all this was a stream which meant fish would be swimming by. It's not a bear but he noticed Victor unpacking the medical field kit which meant those leopards weren't real especially considering all the unknown plants in the jungle.
Taking a bit of time to attach the line to an arrow, he fired at a passing fish only to get it mid way down but still this could be dinner. Continuing his aim at fishing, Samuel noticed Victor taking samples before setting up a rack for the fish; "Was the leopards real?"

Waking up to James, he read the paper and wondered why the General would want to come here so early and what was the importance of Concorde. London is still 2 and a half months from being even being built and here they are being rushed to this unknown site. Getting up, he looked at the launch site for the drones and knew that map would be available in three months; "Alright, get the truck ready. I'll be sure to not wake Evia while I put her in the truck and see about informing Delta as well as the Specialists." Waking up in the truck from another bump as he noticed Johnathan and John wide awake with Evanna still asleep. Turning to Johnathan who was driving, he zipped up his vest as he looked for the instant coffee; "How long was I asleep?" Spotting Johnathan pointing down at a tactical pad, it appeared he's been asleep for 28:45:30 seconds. He knew his body was still recovering but he needs to stop sleeping so long and noticed mostly grassland as they headed to the site; "Any word from Delta or the Specialists?"

Running the samples through destructive tests which could give him a direct answer while recording everything. Getting up as he reviewed the results, he expected this since one could be coincidence; "The one was real but the others were hallucinations that's why James as well as the two Colonials couldn't see them." They simply needed to more cautious till an antibiotic could be produced so they wouldn't have to worry about this later. The epic drive and drowning they're vehicles were for nothing but at least now he could catalog the wildlife thus allow them to mark possible fishing spots for London. Taking a deep breath, he kneeled down as he noticed that the fish appeared to be a close relative to the trout; "Make sure you cook thoroughly last thing we need is the shits."

Sitting in the back, John held his rifle as he added a suppressor since he wasn't sure how local wildlife would react. They were the invaders that were going to turn Kobol into a true jewel and apparently Concorde is going to be the stepping stone to cleaning the rough edges from this diamond. Turning to Tom, he took a deep breath as he secured his rifle; "Negative. No way of pinging the drones to handle the communication while taking all those photos but we set a drone to go out 300 miles before turning around and landing in Concorde."

Stepping out of the raptor with Romo, Bones took a breath with the fresh air as he rubbed his hands into the dirt. Smelling the distinctive smell of rain, Bones knew it was close by as the two massive cargo raptors dropped off the four Jeeps as well as the two teams. Kneeling down, he planted a knife in the ground to get an exact location of the impending storm; "I suggest setting up camp after all leaving now will get us caught in the storm." Clipping his pack on, Bones took another pain suppressor which kept the pain down and seemed to silence Michael as he watched everyone unpacking. His last meeting with Sam wasn't too well and he knew Michael would want to regain control if she was here.

Oh perfect an 1/8th of a complete map...shit they should hope that it doesn't land in the frakkin lake! Looking ahead, they began driving through streams which appeared to have originated from the nearby mountains and would be perfect later for the old SF home. Training has always been in the mountains since the altitude seems to reshape them into effective troops. Sitting back, he often thought about the SF program that started all this yet focused on the negative effects. Sad truth now, SFs that were effected and those with A.I augments would be the ones taming this planet. Hearing a crackle on the radio, he knew that couldn't have been the Specialists but this seemed closer and none of the voices were familiar.

Pretending to laugh, Samuel began setting up the fish to cook evenly as he turned to Daniel who was setting up a small dame to make at least a descent tub; "May I remind you, out of the two of us, you spent your survival training dependent on MREs so don't lecture me on cooking." Glancing over at James, he noticed the truck running again which was good since it meant in the morning they could continue...wait was that thunder? Standing up, Samuel spotted a massive cargo raptor leaving a few miles away to his right and a storm coming in from the left. It wasn't a simple little storm but turned day into night, lightning and thick bands of rain. Clearing his throat as Daniel and Rebecca also noticed it, slipping back on his damp gear; "I think being here might not be such a good idea anymore."

Glancing over at the storm, this area would be subjected to flash flooding which would end they're trip but that cargo raptor confirmed that General Thrax was here. The plan was to establish London but that quickly changed and he probably brought radio gear so they could communicate better than being alone. Picking up the tents, the vehicles started up as Samuel went for the drivers seat which meant he would get passenger and leaving James to get the back with the gear.
Thankfully, the vehicles had been keeping track of they're course but unfortunately they were off course thanks to the river which meant driving towards the storm to get on route. Kicking out the fire, this would be another day of MREs as he tossed the fish to the bears. These vehicles could easily weather the storm yet being off course also meant a significant short cut which turned weeks to days though they still needed a solid path for future construction projects to use.

The rain began beating against the roof as he helped Victor clamp the roof section on before driving across the rocks. The rain was making the pebbles slippery which caused them to slip under the tires and making it harder to get out of the river bed. Turning to Victor, they weighed twice as much as the Jeep with all the gear on board as well as James; "I need you to run the cable to the Jeep before a rip current forms."
Even with four wheel drive, the pebbles kept slipping away with them hitting the under carriage; knowing this weight would be less of an issue at London or after.
