Originally home to the 13 Colonies prior to the Exodus of the 13th Colonie to the planet later known as Terra.
This is the future home for all Terrans who are outrunning a divesting act of nature and hope that this will allow our race to prosper. Key sites, the Opera House and Forum both being rebuilt as well as the City of New Amsterdam which will be the first city built. Also a notable site, the Communications Facility which will keep communication online and ensure our people get through immigration safely.

Landing on Kobol was something of pure horror. Frakkin Mayday must've lost engines more than once since they were in free fall TWICE with himself and Samuel looking for parachutes. Landing just on the mark, he watched as Samuel puked over the side while he looked over the truck. Scorpia didn't hold anything back when it came to this thing as he tossed the backpacks behind the seats before getting James to help with the crates. Getting some decent fuel containers, he filled up off of the massive fuel tanker before placing them in the back just to be safe. Securing everything before climbing into the truck as he placed his rifle next to his inside leg so he could grab it quickly.

Wiping the puke away, he gave James an evil look for that was the last time for a long time that he'll fly with him. Noticing a tire strapped onto the top rack of the truck and the standard one on the bottom; they had the situation with spares covered. In fact, all the vehicles were carrying two spare tires but he only hoped that they didn't need more. Looking over the two Jeeps, they had camping gear in the back and just like the truck was quite impressive. All off-road packages, all tow kits and snorkels encase the engine goes underwater which is expected but optimized for the long trip and rough terrain. Climbing into the truck, he lifted the sun roof as he strapped the hunting rifle down.

KOBOL: ALPHA SITE
Taking his time to fill canisters of fuel, James placed them on the cargo rack of the Jeeps before unpacking base camp with prebuilt bunks going up. Setting down one of the many flares to mark the location, General Thrax had plans to set up bases early on for pioneering and later would be spaceports or even designated landing zones.
Setting down a crate of hunting rifles, even with the establishment of this site, the wildlife might disagree so document but kill if necessary for the Alpha Site. There were also Geologists joining them to document everything but the two teams that were going out would be doing the same.

Receiving the message from John, Victor climbed out of the truck and went to the only crate that didn't get loaded up only to open it to eight UAVs which had been folded up. Carefully pulling one out followed by another, he had the micro cores ready as he placed a start and end vector as well as solid state drives into them.
Starting clockwise, he had them launch in all 8 directions and had them survey for 500 miles before crash landing and transmitting they're position on a 4.2ghz band so he'll have to track them down. At least with this range, they can make maps from the photos especially with the UAVs being 15,000 feet in the air. Closing the empty case, he headed to the raptor pad to wait for the overdue teams while Samuel slept.

Feeling the sudden feel of gravity, the raptor did an atmospheric drop which puts a lot of sudden gravity on those without specialized suits like the pilots wear. Emerging from the thicker clouds to see the various mountain tops and hundreds of thousands of birds flying around the lush forest. The pilots stayed low encase there was any dangers of abandoned missile units on the ground, noticing Tom giving orders to the pilots probably about that reconfigured probe.
Spotting the red smoke from the flare, the raptor landed beside it as well as the makeshift base camp with the three vehicles ready to go. Stepping out of the powered down raptor, he noticed Victor placing FIRST AID bags in the Jeeps as he tossed his bag into a Jeep with his rifles placed on the rack. Climbing into the passenger seat, he rolled down the window and waited.

Surprised from the atmospheric drop, he was expecting to be in orbit as he placed the probe on standby with instructions to launch at a later date. Noticing the birds, they were quite similar to those on Terra but knew other than the 3 billion who would call this place home that they would be adding native Terran species. Using the onboard camera, he got pictures of apes in the forest as well as some structures that might be ancient homes of the Colonials.
Landing, Tom waited for everyone to get out as he got out as well, noticing each team loaded into designated Jeeps with Daniel driving one and John driving the other one. Tossing his stuff in the Alpha Jeep, he waved Daniel off as Delta began to move out with the cargo truck behind them.
Turning to John, he rested in the waterproof seat; "We're going to change up lead but let them do some heavy lifting."

Having everyone pile into his Jeep, Daniel and Tom talked about Delta taking over for the first twenty-five miles since majority of the drive was through dense swampland. Forging a path meant going through dense mud and using torque to make it stable enough for future endeavors...using surrounding trees to make stable surface.
Ordering the Specialists to follow behind, they began the drive across the grasslands before dropping into the swamp with stumps littering the shoreline. Dropping into the four foot mud, Daniel slowly shifted into four wheel drive as the water slowly seeped in; "Liam, get on the roof and watch out for anything approaching us and probably going to need an extra light."
Staying at a solid four feet, Daniel could "feel" the ground and the debris as they drove over ancient concrete blocks and fallen trees.

Handing Oliver his rifle, he slipped through with his pack in hand as he climbed on top of the vehicle into the luggage rack. Clipping his pack to the side, he pulled out some rope as he wrapped around the bottom of the rack which allowed him to clip onto it. Getting his rifle from Oliver, he tossed a few high powered glow sticks ahead before placing his rifle in single shot as he watched the water. It was already hard to judge if anything was moving towards them with endless ripples that they're creating. Spotting multiple reflections, he noticed that these were eyes most likely from massive gators watching them and waiting.

Slowly following Daniel into the mud, he flipped on the top lights before tapping Samuel awake as he climbed onto the luggage rack as the truck sank. Feeling vibrations like something swimming between his axles, tapping his radio as followed closely behind Daniel; "Okay, there is something here. If you see it, please say something, don't want it to begin testing my truck." Driving onto what must've once been a roof, he slowly lifted up out water before dropping back down as he noticed Rebecca putting down a marker lit with flares. Suddenly, he felt something slam into the left side of his truck followed by shooting from both Liam and Samuel. Yelling to Samuel, he had to turn back into Daniels tracks, "Fire the frakkin flare," watching as the white flare went up with horrors all around...frakkin gators of all sizes EVERYWHERE.

Clipping onto his preset rope, Samuel fired the flare as he switch to his AR15 and soon loaded his .50 caliber rounds as the swamps lit up with gators; "Frakkin gods have one fraked up sense of humor," taking aim as he stayed kneeled down before opening fire onto them. The rounds exposed entire chunks of gators as he noticed them not even taking mind before aiming for the head which put the others in a feeding frenzy. Changing out mags, he dropped the empty one into the truck as he watched the gators devour the dead ones but he knew this would cause more attacks.
Walking along the top, he reached into the back to grab one of the four cans that Victor filled as he tapped his radio; "You can thank me later but this means Alpha will have to find a different path," popping the top off. Pouring the fuel into the water, he waited till they were ten feet away before lighting it with a fresh bullet. The fuel had drifted onto frenzy gators, burning everything as he tossed the can into the back; he only had one mag left with his large caliber rounds.

Strapping extra gas cans on, he knew he needed a new path but this swamp might open to a river. Checking especially now with the sun going down wouldn't help matters. Turning to them as he turned off the Jeep; "We'll leave in the morning."

The fuel had drifted onto frenzy gators, burning everything as he tossed the can into the back; he only had one mag left with his large caliber rounds. Daniel could see the fire raging while they kept pushing forward. Dropping half a foot, he soon lifted out of the hole as they continued with the guys spotting patches of islands that were probably not too solid. Ordering the guys down, the two vehicles were staying close to prevent another attack as well as make themselves appear larger. Water ran through the small pathways in the rubber mats, he knew that musky smell would take time to leave as they continued to tread forward with the water getting shallower. Finally pulling up onto dry land, they noticed nests which meant the gators were in protection mode especially against them rushing into they're territory. They needed to move these nests otherwise both Terran and Colonials were going to reduce them to manageable sizes. Driving off the solid island and into the creek, this was where the swamp went into the river but they still had quite a way to go till reaching land again.

So Kobol wasn't killing them but defending against them. The Peacekeepers would have to be quite aggressive with the wildlife and with construction crews building bridges they're going to need protection. This entire adventure was going to be documented and laid out for Peacekeepers as well as HDF so they can protect everyone.
Looking out of the window, she could see herds of fish that could possibly be farmed but the gators are the first concern. Some were over fifty feet long and were most likely females since the males were aggressively targeting them...thinning the flock is always the aggressive approach. Sitting back and sleeping for she would be next behind the wheel...

Feeling the drag slightly from the creek, Victor created a space between them again as he noticed the Jeep driving up onto questionable land. Remotely unlocking the hook, he could see the wheels spinning freely as he drove as close as he could before throwing down the emergency brake to climb on the hood; hooking onto the back of the Jeep. Yelling to Daniel, he knew finding an easy way out of the creek was going to be difficult; "Prepare to flip into reverse."
Climbing back into the truck, he locked down the cable before going into reverse as he pulled the Jeep from the sinking mud. Having Samuel unhook them, he could see mud almost up to the door handles which meant a good portion of the motor was covered in mud. Deciding to take the lead, they started down to the creek while Samuel looked for a gap on the shore that looked promising.
