Matthews wasn't paying attention to how long it was taking Winters to finish up. She glanced back over at Victor, after his warning came to late. Grabbing a bandage from her pack, Evie pulled up her blood soaked pant leg and wrapped the bandage around the flesh wound. She wasn't even sure when it happened, and knew it probably wasn't that bad. They had a job to finish. She could only curse when the lights went out, yelling over to the other two. "If you're done now, can we please get the frak out of here!" Loading another clip into her rifle, she balanced against one of the beams and fired off another shot, smirking as bits of the centurion went flying.

Wiring up the last bit of explosives, he connected the detonators to his tactical pad before giving Victor the nod to begin falling out, taking out the safety tags with the switches going live. Leaving the empty pack behind with the additional 20 pounds of G-6 he couldn't wire up as additional kick. Grabbing his sub machine gun, he dropped down from the space elevator as he turned to Evanna who appeared to be limping from her leg wound to help her into cover. Pushing Victor into cover, he detonated the charges knowing that even at this range that portions of the space elevator would come down on them; ducking down as the inner ring began going off.
Igniting the det cord first, the metal around it began to melt before the explosives detonated, sending debris out and soon the entire section exploded with a massive force thanks to the spare blocks and the outer ring with cables breaking with the tower coming down. Collapsing nearly on top of them, fires began to rage from not just the explosives but also the underground gas lines which even where they were Samuel could feel the heat underneath his feet.

Dropping down off of the space elevator as Samuel finished, he knew they couldn't get too far as be felt Samuel pushing him into an alley way where he took cover with his rifle in hand. Feeling the ground rumbling, Victor could only hear the explosion followed by the rumbling of the gas lines underneath him while he sent the message to Romo to bring in the reinforcements. Getting up, he slung his rifle before switching to his pistol as he made his way over to Evanna; "Need some help or do you have that covered?"
Undoing his climbing belt, he let it drop to the ground as the Centurions began to pour in before tapping his radio to connect with the Colonels; "Sir, the elevator is down but we could use help, Romo's forces will be flowing into the city now," taking cover as he began opening fire onto the Centurions.

Sitting in the sand, Romo had his binoculars in hand as he kept his eye on the space elevator till he noticed the tower not just coming down but also a message from Victor giving them the green light. Tapping his radio twice, he peered around on the surrounding dunes to see his men rising out of them with their weapons drawn as they began their way into the city with rifles pointed ahead. Rolling down the dune with Miller beside him, they began launching drones which would layout the city into a 3D map for their tactical pads and thus narrowing down the enemy forces to sectors which they could take down. Knocking out power, Romo flipped on his night vision as he moved forward, targeting a pack of Centurions as he opened fire on them to draw their attention off of Michael's team and onto him.

Taking a round into the back of his vest, he was already in pain from the round that was in his torso as he smacked his body against the cover he was using, alerting Tom that they were being flanked. Setting his sniper rifle down, he switched over to his sub machine gun but noticed that Liam had stopped firing, jumping over to him as he noticed the man on the ground with a wound on his right side; quickly patching him up followed by pulling the ammunition off of Liam. Opening fire on the Centurions ahead, he focused on disabling them for the most part since his SMG couldn't do much on the killing end, hearing firing from behind but it was focused on the Centurions.
Taking cover, he soon heard a familiar voice as he got up from his cover with help of a few medics, setting his SMG down next to his sniper rifle; "Romo, thank the gods you finally decided to join in though even you must realize that the airbase will send help to slow down your attack."

Evie kept her head down in cover as the structure exploded and began to fall, sending debris flying in every direction. She could only hope and pray that nothing would crush them. Looking up from her position when she heard Smith's voice, she shook her head. "No I'm fine, it's nothing I can't get looked at later. Let's just wrap this up." She ducked her head down again as the bullets began to fly from the incoming centurions. Matthews pulled out her spare pistols and popped up long enough to fire off some rounds at the toasters, watching as they fell to the ground. No matter how many they took down, they would soon be overwhelmed. Catching something from the corner of her eye, she yelled over to Smith. "Watch your back!" Moving forward hastily, she dove on top of him and brought her pistol up, firing off a shot in time at an approaching centurion.

Surprised by Evanna, he got up from underneath her as he focused on others attempting to flank them from the other sides as he tapped his radio; "Colonel, I'm not ready to die yet and could really use the help," setting his pack down and opened it up to the spare magazines he had, "I've 5 maybe 6 mags left but got around 8 mags left for my sniper rifle," noticing Samuel disabling but not killing the Centurions since he decided to join the same route as the Colonel and went for a less powerful SMG. Ejecting an empty magazine, he holstered his pistols before going back to his sniper rifle just as a round hit the back of his vest and into his Kevlar, knocking him forward.
Keeping his hand on the bolt, he focused on head shots but unknown that he let a few 'last words' slip; "Evanna, if we don't survive this then it was an honor to see you work," not the best last words but for him it didn't matter since he had seen the gang she was in operate before they were locked away.

Popping in the last of her mags for the pistols, Evie continued her assault against the tin cans. She fought the urge to roll her eyes and shook off what Smith said. "Can it, Victor. We're all getting the hell out of here, and the Colonels can buy us all drinks when we get back home." The woman shrugged. He hadn't outright said it, but when he referred to her work, she knew what it meant. Just another person to judge her based on the past. No one else really understood that it was more like a group of freedom fighters that she had been a part of, and not some gang.
Holstering her empty pistols, she pulled the knife from her boot and pinged it right into the head of a toaster. It gave her just enough time to pop a mag into her rifle and begin firing again. "What's the Colonel's ETA? I'm almost out."

Sliding over his pistol magazines, Samuel kept firing on the Centurions though he knew Victor rarely said anything since for some reason he knew the man didn't fear or even think about death. Peering overhead, he could see a few drones flying overhead as he popped off blue smoke a bit down wind of them to get their attention before turning to Evanna who was burning through rounds; "The Colonel wasn't too far from us and it could be awhile till he gets here, I suggest work on disabling it would save bullets," his tactical pad lit up as one of the drone's connected to him. Noticing a group heading towards him but with comms blocked, he couldn't raise them to inform them that enemy forces were moving in faster than expected.

Breaking away from Michael and joining one of the other teams, Tom knew they had to reinforce Victor's team or they could lose not just the team but even an asset which has been quite useful over the years. Jogging down the street, Tom held onto his M-4 while receiving reports of a consistent Cylon wall keeping them from the center of the city where Victor and the rest were but that wasn't going to stop him. Crashing into the lines, Tom had borrowed a sword from one of the SF's to slice through a Centurion with the rest of his squad, carving a path to the team as he prepared to refill the small team on ammunition. Taking them out of this area was no longer an option, though, they had just received information from Jack concerning the airfield and something about reinforcements will be there soon enough.
Ordering his team around the perimeter, he approached the small team, undoing his pack as he set it down in the middle of the small group; "I know you all were hoping to leave but we can't at least for now, the General is leading an attack on the airfield and the Centurions need to be here to focus on us at least for now," taking cover next to the car as he focused on taking out the Centurions that Samuel disabled.

Taking his time to approach the airbase, Jack kept his Nomads low as they prepared to breach the base knowing that they had only one shot and with the attack underway on the city this was their chance. Slipping out of the desert ghillie suits, he and his Nomads rushed the fence where they scaled it and landed on the other side, signaling the General and his men to began their attack in the last of their vehicles. Grasping his silenced M-4, Jack kept his eye down range while sprinting to the main hanger where the helicopters and modified V-22 aircraft were being held before the attack with another team heading to the Vipers. Placing thermite charges on the exterior since the bomb tech indicated the door was rigged, he stepped back while the charges melted the metal thus making a new door for them. This drew attention to them as they tossed in frags and smoke grenades before rushing in, taking out two Centurions and a handful of skin jobs in mere seconds; the Nomads began to start up the modified V-22 aircraft while staying in contact with the Nomads recapturing their Vipers to ensure they had protection once they had left the ground. Climbing into the pilot's seat with one of his best pilots, Jack began to strap in while the doors opened up to gun fire from the humvees attempting to keep the aircraft from being swarmed. Starting up the propellers, the aircraft began to take off with the Vipers and raptors forming up around them; headed to the city to pick up the main fighting force.

Starting up the propellers, the aircraft began to take off with the Vipers and raptors forming up around them; headed to the city to pick up the main fighting force. It was now time to determine whether or not his SF's were fully recovered from the attack or a fighting force that deserved to perish, sitting in the passenger seat of the truck Michael saved from the Colonies with an M-4 in hand though he knew Michael had his. Jack had 100 Nomads for his assault while Ramsey has half that to mount a suitable attack but the humvees made up for the men he didn't have as they waited in the dark a few hundred feet from the main gate. Receiving the signal, he gave the order as the gunner climbed up to the twin cannon .50 caliber gun and the humvees raced for the gates; crashing through them in mere seconds and into the Centurions. Driving onto the runway, they soon found the hangers and parked, letting the gunners mow down the Centurions while the men piled out to retake defenses and even the armory which would be filled with skin jobs. Climbing out, he took aim at the Six as he shot her once in the gut to watch her fall before meeting up with his protection detail where they rushed for the tower. Having a pair of his Lieutenants head up first, he followed with a few sergeants, noticing blood stains of the soldiers protecting this airfield died during the surprise attack and here they were avenging their deaths. Receiving word that they had captured the armory and the outlining warehouses, the Lieutenants breached the door to find one of their old Centurions who appeared to have come to its senses and killed the skin jobs but they had to deactivate it to get it analyzed before letting it rejoin their ranks. Sending word to Jack, in thirty minutes they had managed to recapture the airfield thus giving them the advantage they had paid so hard for and now it was time to get off this planet.

Hearing the sound of rotor blades, he hasn't heard that sound in such a long time and now it was getting closer which could only mean that the airfield was once theirs again even more this was how they were going to leave the city. Tapping his radio to open a channel to all his teams, he see the Vipers dishing it out with the raiders once more; knowing that this was all a cover to get his men off of the ground; "All forces begin a retreat to the outskirts of the city for pickup while forces that are surrounded we'll have combat pickups for you just hold on a bit longer," turning to Michael who was with the medics, "your being picked up first so enjoy the ride."
Turning to Miller, there still wasn't word from Victor's team or Tom which could only mean they were in the jamming zone next to the former space elevator; picking up what spare ammunition he could find before starting the long jog to their position. He knew they couldn't hold off forever against that many Centurions and he wasn't going to leave them behind especially considering the mission that team managed to pull off against impossible odds.

Changing out mags, Victor turned to Tom who was aiding in every way he could but even with the extra squad they were stuck in a zone that no right person would ever go into; taking aim at Alex's Centurions who seemed to be taking the ranks of the older Centurions. Hearing Vipers overhead, he spotted a pair of raptors headed their way with their guns blazing, assisting them a little till a helicopter could pick them up though it would take a bit more since the Cylons were tossing everything their way. Noticing only two magazines left, he kept focus on the Centurions that were further out to send a clear message that they weren't going to go down especially with help so close.

:NPC SF Pilot: Heading down to the surface, the pilot sat the helicopter down onto the concrete to allow the wounded to board with the medics who are rare since the Centurions seem to target them first out of other SF's. Firing the forward turret, the pilot leveled a Centurion patrol as the last of the survivors climbed onboard, knowing he's got Colonel Thrax onboard before taking off once more. Rejoining his raptor escort, the aircraft stayed overhead till the rest of the SF's were loaded up.
