Romo knew Miller was being cautious then again he could use fresh blood since they were going to hit just about everything with Cylon fingerprints on it and maybe find any survivors that didn't make it out with his group. Turning to Miller, that's all it took to get the man back in line before turning to Albert, "Don't worry about him, its been rough and well we could use all the help," slipping back on his specialized sunglasses.
Taking a deep breath, he grabbed his M4 once more before looking over Albert's team; "If you team works then I have no problem after all I don't plan on changing it but your first mission will be scouting. There is a city not too far from here, before the attack, we were saving it for a full frontal but now its biting us in the ass. Cylons have massed their forces there and have a space elevator to a Basestar which allows them to get more troops within minutes so your team will be going in under cover and tasked to destroy that space elevator before we go in. I've got 250,000 men ready to seek revenge so don't take too long," pausing as he took a deep breath once more, "once you take out that Space elevator the code signal is Delta Down and we'll attack with full force."
Signaling his men to take cover, it seemed like the SF's disappeared into the sands, something most SF's have learned since they've landed and its already the one tactic keeping them alive. Unclipping his bag of explosives that he had gathered from the rest of his men before setting it down in front of them, "200 pounds of explosives everything from G6 to nitroglycerin in a new solid state bar."

Noticing Rebecca's team moving behind them with Tom, he closed up his pack as he attached the spare bullets to the butt of his rifle; "Haven't seen them since I dropped in but I told them to head west," he dropped the spent rounds into his cargo pocket. He knew Liam was a bit pissed about having Victor here yet he was pissed when he saw the SF patch on the kid, a patch he learned took Victor a decade to get and extensive training by Gondawan battle-masters shit they were nice enough to put him on the gang task force which kept him out of the way of danger. Turning to Liam, signaling him to begin to fall back as he clipped his pack back on: "Let's start falling back. Your brother has a good team I wouldn't doubt the kid after all there was a time when we all were just like him." Laughing a bit, he slung his sniper rifle before going back to his smaller rifle as he fired only enough to draw their attention; "We'll meet back up with the General in a few days maybe less but I'm not going to lead them into an area that may give them the advantage. When we landed, I saw a truck that appeared to be pointing west so maybe the survivors went that way hoping to bypass the Centurions or they are preparing to do what we're doing now; taking on the enemy head on." Packing up the casings that didn't fall over the ledge they were laying on. Picking up his pack and wincing as he slung it and his sniper rifle over his shoulder. Knowing he was over doing it but, there was no one else do to his job. He was still technically second-in-command under Jack so he needed to get his men situated. Looking up to Thrax that was about ten feet in front of him. Listening to what the man had to say, agreeing what he said about Albert. Loans little brother was a good soldier, but he had a temper on him unlike Liam. "I suggest that we head toward them. Knowing Albert, he has a strong hold or a strategy in mind."

Listening to Liam, he knew the man would want to see his brother but his brother was too far away and they still had to ensure that both Jack and Ramsey was safe from attack but with now the destruction of the fortress they could use that for cover. Taking out another Centurion, he took a deep breath before ordering Tom and them to head to the old fortress and they'll be heading down from there, hopefully losing the Centurions in the debris field. Feeling his cargo pockets were full, he began placing casings into his vest as he spoke to Liam; "Your brother is west and once we ensure the General's are safe then we'll head that direction but right now we'll head to the fortress and lose them in the debris field," switching to his smoke grenades.
Waiting till Liam moved in front of him, he began covering their trail with smoke grenades while at the same time launching his only UAV to begin surveying the area to the west. Turning to Liam as he finished deploying the smoke grenades, "Get jogging to the debris field and stop firing, we'll lose in them in the smoke," starting to jog while the smoke dispersed around them. After a few minutes, he entered into the debris field where he began lying down trip lines as well as more smoke grenades which would make the trip lines more effective since they couldn't see them. Slinging his sniper rifle, he could hear the Centurions in the distance as he slid down the ropes onto the more stable jungle floor, ordering his Centurion to take point.

Hearing orders from Michael, he knew his former boss was going to use the debris field that Jack created as a trap which meant they had to get across it first. Ordering Rebecca's squad to begin falling out, slinging his sniper rifle as he wired up magnetic charges before jogging across the debris field to the repel lines where they dropped down onto the ground. Sliding over to a spot where the old recon teams sat, he picked up what was left of an old map which could have kicked them in the ass if it was left behind, tucking it into his vest before tapping his radio; "Colonel's we're in position on the ground and we've covered our old position, we're waiting for you and we'll get moving from there."
Pulling out the enemy tactical pad that they captured early on, Tom wasted no time to power it up as he noticed their network extremely active and a few names popped out which he could present to Michael and Liam once they made it down. Strapping the enemy tactical pad onto his forearm as he kept his focus on it, checking over his M-4 as he handed the leftover brass casings over to Delta to put in the pack till they can refill the casings and use them again.

Taking the bag of explosives, Samuel clipped the bag onto the front of his vest before noticing all the SF's that were on the dunes were gone which could only mean most of them had ghillie suits which made them invisible to the unnoticed eye which could only mean that this Colonel had them fighting before they were running. Grasping his Kriss rifle once more, he screwed on his suppressor before turning to Albert as he began thinking on how to destroy it properly; "Sir, if we split in two teams then one team could wire the space elevator and the other could run diversion and maybe even get the main strike force in," he had specialize in the Mountain Division during training and had some rope in his bag encase he ever had to do some climbing and he knew it would be difficult to do it free hand since most of the structure would be metal.

Victor saw no hesitation in Samuel as he took the bag knowing what Miller said to him hit rather hard and close to home since he knew why Samuel was a lone wolf for the longest amount of time. Even Victor preferred to fight alone since for the longest amount of time only he could trust himself but working with Samuel and soon Albert changed all that, though, working in a team meant he had to use skills that he had only used during training with his Gondawan War Masters who had taught him everything he needed to know to be a perfect soldier. Listening to Samuel, he knew it would fun to climb a space elevator as he turned to Albert, "I'll go with Samuel, gotta make sure he doesn't loose his footing and it wouldn't hurt to kick them in their metallic teeth once that elevator comes down," laughing a bit as he too screwed on his suppressor.

Strapping the enemy tactical pad onto his forearm as he kept his focus on it, checking over his M-4 as he handed the leftover brass casings over to Delta to put in the pack till they can refill the casings and use them again. :SF Corporal Grimms; SF Forced Recon: Finally reaching the forested area, the Corporal saw the explosion from his old position in the desert and with standing orders from Colonel Shepard, he first had to find out if there were survivors. Signaling his small 3 man squad to silently enter the area, Grimms wasn't too sure what to look for other than Centurions and he hadn't ran into them in days so he could only hope that his luck had turned grim yet he hadn't found any bodies which was even scarier. Kneeling down by a tree, he spotted a man jump down from a cliff which could only mean he was a survivor and a fighting one at that but he saw a few familiar faces; Michael Thrax and William Quinto. Tapping his radio twice to signal that there were survivors, he stepped out of his cover but didn't necessarily lower his rifle as he approached, knowing his presence would be a bit of a surprise. Lowering his rifle as he approached Michael Thrax and Liam, he cleared his throat for the simple fact he hadn't talked to anyone in days and his squad had grown dependent on signals; "Sirs, Corporal Grimms, Force Recon. Colonel Shepard sent my squad to find you or any survivors. The Colonel managed to save close to 250,000 SF's from the massacre and has been traveling west till recently, we have vital intelligence that the Cylons have one city in this region that they are using to reassert their control thus now it has become a target. It appears to have a space elevator as well as a rather large fighting force but even more it has heavy raiders which if taken out it would take close to an hour for a Basestar to launch from orbit. Shepard requests your presence, he is sending a team to take out the space elevator but will be leading the assault, he believes if we can take out the city then we should be able to take out the airbase with ease."

Undoing the ropes, he began wrapping them around into a stack before placing it into his pack knowing that he might have to use it once more before turning to the Corporal. Listening to the man, he knew Shepard was right to send someone from Force Recon since they would know where to go if he and Liam decided to go along but he knew Liam would do anything if they heard that Albert and even more Victor was involved. Grasping his Kriss rifle, he noticed a few bars on his radio as he silently made contact with Romo while debating whether or not to go, walking over to Tom to notice a bit of news which was well worth it. Turning to Liam, he peered over the enemy tactical pad to pick out a few names; "Enemy intel confirms that Alex and his wife who is a major target will be there plus Romo has informed me that Albert's team will be bringing down the space elevator so we have to go to ensure Victor's survival."
Turning to Rebecca as he carefully considered on who to bring, "Myself, Liam, Tom and the man in armor will go with the Corporal for the mission while your team heads to the graveyard to assist the General," taking a deep breath as he remembered he had Ramsey's M-4 on his back. Even with everything going on, he knew he broke his promise to Sam but even she knew it was hard to walk away from all this, he was born into this and he may die doing this which he was taught to prepare for the ultimate sacrifice. Having the Corporal take the lead, he slipped on his specialized sunglasses knowing the trek alone was long but it was his duty to protect Victor why stop now.

Waking up just as the medics lifted him out of his bed and into the remains of a flight pod which at one time was attached to one of the Battlestars before it was blown apart by the Cylon attack. Spotting the SF's securing the area, he turned his attention to the long range radio that Jack sat down, slowly getting up even though he felt a bit dizzy himself; for the first time in a while he could stand on his own thus meaning the resistance on his end could begin. Watching them connect the radio, he knew it was time to contact Dalton and find out what the situation was on Terra which would dictate his response on how they should run operations that would force the enemy to focus on them; maybe even draw Cylons away from Terra. Asking for some privacy as he recorded a message knowing it would take time for Dalton to respond:
'This is General Harperson of the SF and Nomad Division, the Cylons turned our Centurions against us thus effectively wiping out more than half of our total forces which has limited us to ground based operations with limited ammunition and gear. Colonial Colonel Shepard has been leading a resistance and I'll provide details once I know more, our Battlestar protection as well as our satellite protection was wiped out in the first wave and we've got mountains of intelligence even a possible weakness of the Cylons. We will begin transmitting this intelligence securely and the help from Michael Thrax was needed otherwise this radio message wouldn't have been available. If you haven't done so already, the Gondawans were willing to aid in protection and you'll need to talk with the Councilors specifically about Project Delta Fire. The project was created for this scenario and a lot of the Nationalist councilors would be willing to comply if they knew I was alive, it would give the council a fighting force rival to the SF's while we're away. Expect reply in 12 hours and reply in 24 hours on this secure channel.'
Sending the message, Ramsey turned to Jack as the man climbed into the flight pod, grabbing a spare vest from one of his men; "Suggest start fueling up and check over our weapons, we need to secure that air field again if we are to end the enemy effectively," now all he pondered on was where his M-4 may be.

D.S feels something coming, a spidey sense tingling. She slowly grins as she connects to a Centurion standing by her. The link between Centurions can not be hacked, only Centurions and advanced Cylons can tap into the link.
Removing a wire from her wrist, she quickly sends out a message to the Centurions she has hidden here. The army is aware and is in prime shape for the meatsacs and that clone, my dear husband. D.S removes the wire from the Centurion and wraps her wrist with some cloth. Now it's time to meet myself. She chuckles as she walks towards the compound.

Waking up, Phineas places his left hand behind his head. FRAK! he felt the connections going into his skull. I guess Lord Alex or whatever his name is decided he would try to get information out of him the hard way. What a joke. Removing the connections, Phineas got up out of the tub and the goo it contained. Standing there naked, he looked around the room. He hadn't resurrected because he hadn't been killed. Or had he? If he had, there would have been no need to hard wire him. Stepping over to the shower enclosure, he washed the goo off of himself. Grabbing a towel, he dried himself off and took one of the gowns laying there. Putting it on, he slowly made his way towards the door, and to who knows where.....

Turning to the General, Rebecca had just arrived from her old position where the fortress once was and well the General was right, as long as the Cylons had the air they had them on the ground and at a limited ability. Loading up on ammunition, slinging her rifle before climbing up onto the pod; "From what I heard, Romo is leading an operation which if done right will draw the Cylons attention to them so taking the airbase should be relatively easy but once we have the aircraft back then we should be able to run effective operations on the enemy maybe even be one step closer to getting off of this planet," she knew they had lost too much while being down here and Terra would be suffering cause of all of this.

Leaving once it turned nighttime, Samuel wasn't one to wait for Albert to come up with a twenty part plan instead he knew how he was going to pull it off but he did need back up which is why he knew Victor would follow him. Gathering the bulk of his gear, Samuel sneaked out of base camp with the bag of explosives in hand, keeping a steady pace as he trekked through the desert with a shadow till he reached the outskirts of the city. The glow of the city reflected on him as he began to lighten up on his gear such as leaving his elbow and knee pads aside with his jacket, clipping his climbing rope around his vest before stuffing everything into one pack. Leaving his grenade launcher in the sand, he wasted no time to remove the pins from the back of his grenades for his launcher so he could substitute them with the explosives he has but soon had to hide when he noticed not just his shadow also a small group heading his way.

Sneaking out right behind Sam, he borrowed some spare ammunition off of Albert and Matthews just to be safe but was kind enough to leave them a note while he followed behind Samuel. Slinging his rifle, he began fixing his uniform such as fixing his bandana to cover up his face and neck to keep his body heat from escaping into the cold wind while holding his Super V as he too noticed a squad from the East headed to the same place. Reaching with one hand into his pack, he pulled out a small setup made just for his vest so he could climb with ropes since he would be Sam's close back up while they're on the space elevator; stopping soon behind Sam as he made out some of the faces.
Michael? Liam? Tom? What in hell are they doing this way and even more how in the hell do they know about this active operation? Slipping his hat on, he secured his spare ammunition to his holsters and vest so he could grab it quickly before turning his attention to Michael; "I take it you've been filled in?"

Post by Evanna 'Firecracker' Matthews on Jan 12, 2014 22:53:58 GMT -6
Having heard quiet footsteps, Evanna knew something was up. It was dark enough, but she was sure someone had snuck out. And sure enough, the woman saw that both Winters and Smith had disappeared. Rolling her eyes and grumbling, she grabbed her sniper rifle and a few clips of ammo. Shoving them into the side pocket of her pants, Matthews quietly ducked out of sight, leaving Quinto and the others behind. It wasn't done to disobey orders, she was just tired of sitting around doing nothing, and tired of even being on the frakking planet. The sooner they got everything done, the sooner they'd get to leave. She felt like she had something to prove to herself, being there. The Majors words still swarmed in her mind, angering her. She wasn't some ignorant criminal. Then again, no one gave her a chance...not even her own father, who she had no intention of letting anyone know about.
Slinging the rifle over her shoulder, Evie remembered what the Colonel, Shepard, had said about a city not far off. And she was sure Winters and Smith would be heading in that direction. Sighing and cursing under her breath, she kept her head low and started off across the sand, hoping to catch up in time. They were all likely going to get their asses chewed anyway, if the toasters didn't kill them first.
