Reaching the meeting point, Jack knew Odin would cover him but right away he noticed a gas coming towards them as he placed on a mask but soon noticed the Cylon Centurion shutting down with the skinjobs choking on the gas before dying. Tapping his radio, he called for Odin as well as Yolander for the fact that this situation was going to be one that the Nomads are going to be cleaning up; "Yolander, requesting a rally. I suggest we get our injured and surviving forces off this island for the fact there is a certain General who had to nuke the frakkin island," he was pissed that Yolander had to give into the Cylons other than using the less than nuclear option which was quite messy. Ordering his Gondawan personnel to leave, he watched while his own men rushed the meeting place to put a single bullet into all the skinjobs to ensure they stay dead though it didn't matter if the Cylons attacked again.

With the help of one of the Terrans, Evanna, the Lieutenant had been helping the raptors land in the midst of the battle, helping the countless amount of injured into the ships to leave. *CAG to all vipers, you are to ensure that each and every raptor makes it out of here safely.*It was nearly overwhelming, with so many hurt and more coming in every hour that passed, and some that weren't fortunate enough to even make it out alive. Shay did what she could, she wasn't a doctor and the most she could do was wrap wounds or clean the blood away, as the raptors continued making rounds to take away more injured.

Shay did what she could, she wasn't a doctor and the most she could do was wrap wounds or clean the blood away, as the raptors continued making rounds to take away more injured. Packing up what was left of his camp, John, had watched a dozen or so raptors leave so far but he was going to leave with the Colonel and the Captain to ensure that they got up safely and see if there was some way he could aid. The NSOTO's took a big hit, out of the hundreds that came to the fight only 20 or 30 who now had no place to go since the fleet was all but gone; the Battleship was sinking due to hits taken by Javelin fighters and a raider that had smashed into the side which meant the Carriers were going to be stuck offshore to aid in the recovery of Corinth. This war had left the navy battered and beaten, he couldn't return to a Carrier especially with his home ship gone so he was going to do the one thing he had been trained in which was to bring the SFC to justice and get revenge on the Cylons for their losses. Walking to the raptor with his gear in hand, his men were already pilled up in the raptor with Captain Thrax on a stretcher and the Colonel being loaded up; tossing his gear inside before closing the hatch behind him. They had barely won the battle, the government was gone and now he was leaving home to ensure there would be a home when he returns...Terra had drifted out of its Golden Age and now the future seemed a bit dimmer than it had in the past.

*rushing in with troops joining, rushing into the ships disabling the nukes and taking them* "Jack don't worry the gas won't harm us and now It;s not our nuke. I gassed them instead, my non-lethal option to change the game, now I just heard the Ares 109 was in hiding down here. Sydell did get away but not before they to got gassed."

Pulling off his mask as he listened to the Cotter but he still couldn't believe that Yolander had nuked the island if they had this gas on hand, "The Council has been disassembled. They were all dirty and wanted to befriend the Cylons in hope to find a cure against an aliment of their own, there isn't really anyway to replace the Council after all the Colonial civilian government is all but gone," pausing as he took a seat, "I lost 20,000 men just in my lines so its a good bet we lost close to half a million maybe a bit less in taking this island only to have Yolander and a Cylon make their sacrifice worth nothing. Its going to take years to clean up this mess and even then," he was pissed and he tried to contain it, "I've gotta bring down a corrupt General and it doesn't help that General Yolander violated Terran law and nuked half a frakkin island only to get even with a Cylon! War goes only so far and violating the law is something I will never do even when another option is viable."

Approaching the meeting area, the reinforcement had begun removing the dead from the battlefield as well as moving his injured to the raptors though his lines were caught in the nuclear blasts from both the Cylons and Yolander's attack. Both dirty attacks, both contaminating an island which now neither can live on till its de-contaminated and now they needed to move on considering there are bigger big to fry especially a SF General who is responsible for this invasion getting so far; for leaving Terra wide open for this attack and now they need to focus on that.
Caprica had to be a precision attack. The Nomads needed to do what they do best, insert themselves into the situation, excess it and then begin tearing apart piece by piece; then allow Michael and his team to bring down the SF's in charge and reinsert a Colonial presence. They needed to win back Caprica but a full on attack would lead to thousands dead since the wall surrounding the city had the firepower to defend the city and outlining areas for a full pledged Cylon attack and guns meant to paint the sky in bullets that could shred Vipers to small manageable bits.
Taking a seat, Tom wiped the blood and sweat from his face as he turned to Jack while looking over the mushroom clouds; "Go ahead with the Nomads, Caprica will be expecting a cargo ship in 12 hours as for Terra; we'll clean up this mess and join you soon."

Taking the raptor to the meeting point, Jonathan was surprised that the gas came only after the nukes were used and even though he was in prison when the SF's developed a nuke of their own; looking over the mushroom clouds and knowing that this couldn't happen again. Still holding onto his weapons, he stepped onto the platform as he took a seat before setting his rifle down onto the platform; "Most of my men got stuck in the blasts...my team of 6 survived out of 30,000 men, most of the armies got slaughtered but good call on the gas even though it was too frakkin late. Whatever you have planned for Caprica, I'm in though I hope you would have a backup plan cause going in with guns blazing or even on a single ship wouldn't help us out much;" getting up as he grabbed his rifle, "I'll stay behind with Michael after all we can reinforce the Nomads but this war hit us rather hard."

Asking the A.I to get out of the spare seat, James didn't want to scare the Commodore considering A.I's for the most part are incorporated with the Cylons and it would give the wrong impression; spotting a good place to land as he noticed the sun starting to rise over the battlefield. Lowering down the landing gear, he set the ship down carefully before powering down the system to idle; grabbing his tactical pad as he took the lift down to the surface. Stepping over the dead Centurions, he approached Jack who was taking a seat with Jonathan but he knew they were pressed for time as he unbuttoned his jacket; "Sir, I heard you want to get back to Caprica and well I've got this ship which can hold 15 troops but we also have to meet up with a cargo ship if we are to fool Cylon and SF sensors to get there," pausing only briefly, "the X2 has supplies and weapons on board but we're really pushed for time if we're going to Caprica under the element of surprise."

Watching the ship land, he had never seen anything like that which meant neither has too many SF's which meant they already had the element of surprise and that the cargo ship was going to deliver them to the Colonies. Even for a ship that size, it didn't have the fuel to make it to the Colonies on its own which meant it had to hitch a ride with a ship that had more fuel but it couldn't be Colonial for the fact the SF's trusted them very little since they are fighting the Ha'La'tha who were Colonial for the most part. Grabbing his pack as he patted James on the back, "We'll organize that meeting with Yolander at another date," tapping his radio as a few of his men headed to the ship, "Samuel, Victor and Tom, get your shit together and get to the ship on the double; we'll clean up on the cargo ship." Nodding to Odin, he was moving on to the real fight which wasn't against machines but against men that he fought with in the past and some of them he trained; he had to capture Caprica with only 20 men. His Nomads could fight the SF's easily but this would be the first for Samuel and Victor since they were fighting against a corps which trained them and molded them into the men they are now; he would have Tom watch out for them but for now they needed to leave Terra. Turning to Jonathan as he shook the man's hand, "Take care of Michael, I'll try to send a message soon, but for now don't let anyone push you around and when the time comes I hope you and my brother can bring the help otherwise your father will win," starting to the ship as James started it up.

Gathering the bulk of his gear, he turned to Samuel and Victor who were quite muddy from the fighting in the Northern lines which, to be honest, the Northern lines held against the worst of the Cylons even though two bombings happened behind their own lines. Michael had made an impression on the two of them, hold the line and fight even if your outnumbered cause the odds are never stacked in your favor; something that they would be using once more since Caprica was enemy territory at this point with an army of 10,000 SF's and probably more than 20,000 Cylons. Taking the lift up, he tossed his gear off to the side before taking a seat as he noticed for an SF ship the interior wasn't too bad with rubber floors and uniquely designed panels to allow the crew to have full access but also allow fresh oxygen to flow with the vents most likely hidden behind them. Strapping in with Victor and Samuel, he turned to them as James ran past them to get the ship ready for flight; "Stick close and remember those SF's are not our friends, they're the enemy and we destroy our enemies at all costs."

Watching while the Nomads as well as a few regulars climbed into the ship and soon took off, he had to get off world after all his Commander was probably in surgery and now that the truth had been revealed; it was now time to put together a force to help Jack when he needed as well as a plan of insertion. Being the person his father was, he would want to heavily guard the new territories but also destroy any and all resistance around it which meant the other Colonies were now under siege by the Cylon fleet or even SF fighters which are just as deadly.
Starting his walk over to the raptor, he held onto his empty rifle and for now it was the most important thing he had; spotting a young woman walking to the raptor as well with the name Evanna. Turning to the woman, he moved past the smoke caused by the flares which was used to signal the raptors to land and for now helped move the injured and even those infected by the radiation; "Going back to the Independence, wanna come and trust me there is nothing left for you here cause there is nothing left for me. 15 years in prison, there is nothing left but war and when I went in we were fighting a war but once all the war is done then and only then I'll have to find something a lot more peaceful then carrying a gun," stepping onto the raptor as he moved inside of it.

Evanna was beat, mentally and physically. She wasn't sure much time had passed since she'd started helping the wounded after the fighting, helping the injured to the raptors, and sitting with those that had been on the edge of death. Her body ached and she was tired. She was able to breath a sigh of relief when she heard a voice, turning to see Harperson's son. She listened to his words, already knowing them to be true. Evie knew there was nothing on Terra for her, she'd known that for a while. But at the same time, what could the fleet offer her?
The former vigilante wasted no time in cleaning the blood from her hands before she got up to follow the man to the raptor. When she was inside and had taken a seat, her eyes closed, but she spoke to him nonetheless. "What would the Independence have to offer? I doubt either of us will be finding peace there, or anywhere else, anytime soon." Evie didn't know how to do anything else but fight. And after the cylon home world, she wasn't sure who she could trust, not with a huge chunk of her memory gone.

After we destroy the SF's then and only then can we have peace," taking a breath but it would be awhile till they can get there, "So what did you do before getting involved with all this trouble? You've got some weapons training but maybe I can help you considering I'm still behind on all these weapons."

Alex was on the ground for hours, watching as most of the forces left only for the local militia to take over with the nuclear decontamination teams which would clean up the island though it would be a slow process since a lot of them were Gondawan; the gas and nuclear fallout was deadly to them as well. Wearing a mask, the last time he saw this was on New Caprica which for him tore him away from his home since it was there where his relationship with Brook changed from being friends to being much more than friends; but they burned a lot of bridges that day as well.
New Caprica...Alex had left the military, life on New Caprica was peaceful since the new President had signed a treaty with the Cylons although not all Cylons followed the treaty. There was still some cells that believed that the humans needed to be wiped out and he would be called in with other pilots to keep the peace though that got tougher with the XF-2's and 3's being pushed to their near extremes but those ships were being outdone just by their mere size. Every couple of months, Clayton would develop a new firing system while he would improve the A.I but now they needed to merge into a new ship; one that now needed to be field tested by him and one of the fleet's best. Secretly, Brook had been using the XF-2 and well she wouldn't admit it but the fighter was far better than her little Viper which had become a relic of the past with the new fighters taking lead. Alex had made his training grounds in the desert since very few people wanted to live there and he made a deal early on for that territory; having only a single skyscraper that was his HQ as well as the production facility which was mostly underground.
Changing into his flight suit, he stepped outside of his building and into the hot windy desert where he saw Brook standing there amongst one of her XF-2's while he had a new XF-4 brought to the surface; "So this is the final test for the XF-4, I have to shoot you down which I already know is going to be tricky," pausing as he put on his parachute, "this isn't going to be one of our usual dogfights and I'm fairly confident I'll shoot you down."
Initially Brook was amazed to be out here considering she had been working her hardest to avoid Alex especially considering their history but no one else wanted to dogfight him since the revelation that he was in fact a Cylon; the very thing they've been fighting for so long. Brook didn't care about that, they had a Cylon President and amongst Cylon pilots, Alex was the only one that stayed consistent with his skills not to mention his A.I technology was helping out a lot with the fight against the Cylons compared to the passive V.I technology that Clayton was pushing. Alex wanted to fight the best and well she is the best not to mention his wingman so she had to face off against him, "I doubt you'll even hit me but I can tell you now, better just transfer all that tech over to my little ship cause your still not going to win," smiling as she put on her parachute and climbed into her fighter.
Putting in his earpiece, he started his walk to his ship which was lightly armed since everything was stored inside the ship which added to its stealth profile; soon getting off the ground as he flew up to 15,000 feet. Starting it off quickly, the fight lasted 20 minutes till one of Brook's bullets hit his fuel tank which ignited the ship forcing him to eject but not before the debris of his ship brought down her's which left them both floating down to the surface. Their fight in the air had reopened old wounds, they both had fallen back into each other's arms...the fight was the spark that they needed. The fire had engulfed the Chief who saw through their games. Weeks later, the treaty fell apart and in their anger; the Cylons nuked New Caprica and named it Earth in their defiance; they had turned the Colonial home into a wasteland but made their home in the debris. The fleet went back to its usual fight with the Cerberus at the lead, a Battlestar that had the A.I system from the XF-4...
Kneeling down, he took a handful of dirt and ran it through his palms, most of the blood and sweat from the fighting had moistened the ground though the fighting; which the Terrans did more of then what the Colonials had done. They lost their homes in nuclear disasters but that couldn't happen here, it can't happen, he couldn't see the Terrans surviving without their homes but at the same time as long as someone survived the lost of their home then their home would always be with them. Starting his walk to his Viper, he pulled out his dog tags to see Brook's dog tag on the chain, she had given it to him a long time ago and he had never let go of it; something he should give back if he ever saw her again.
