Sitting back in the raptor, Thomas felt the engines go off as he felt the heat flip off; knowing now it was between freezing to death or running out of oxygen. Tapping his radio as he took a sip from his canteen, "All Terran Special Forces, its been an honor but this isn't the end for us, conserve all food and water. Try to stay warm and I promise you, we'll live to see Terra again, check in every 3 hours with myself or Rebecca," unzipping his vest as he started rubbing his hands together to stay warm.

Sitting down in the co-pilots seat, Daniel picked up his tablet as he checked over the star charts knowing they needed somewhere warm before the freezing space gets to them. Locating a massive nebula only a day away, he gave the coordinates over to the pilot as he set the tablet down on the dashboard; "One cold night for a toasty few days unfortunately we might lose half our fuel getting there." The last time he was out beyond anyone's rescue, he was injured and stuck in an old raider; expecting death especially with an experimental hibernation cerium. Left to die and yet he survived and he will continue to survive even past that gas that Yogi was so confident considering the old Terran Intelligence gave him something that really protects him against the gas.

Keeping her rifle close, Rebecca thought about Michael and the many ways he could be attempting to rescue them but rescue wasn't coming. Even if they were tracking down the gas, they didn't bring one those useless generators considering they trusted Daniel where the Colonials didn't trust him. Zipping up her jacket, she crossed her arms as she tried to keep her core temperature up; knowing Daniel chose the best course for them. Waking up hours later, the cabin filled with light as she got up to replace the pilot; sitting down as she strapped in but she felt something different about the nebula. Flipping on the thrusters, she picked up an old ion trail as she followed it till she reached a denser section of the nebula cloud till she noticed a bit of broken hull. Moving within optical range, she followed the hull design and knew it was a Battlestar but it appeared to be here for a very long time. Spotting the name, she pulled out an energy bar as she under handed it at Thomas as she peered over the ship name; "Thomas, have you heard of the Galactica? I know from the Terran ship logs, there has never been a Galactica at Terra ever."

Getting up, Thomas peered over the ship as he remembered something about a missing Battlestar but it was always rumors or even legends as far as he saw it. Leaning over, he sent the coordinates to the other raptors before examining the ship even more, spotting major breaches and even more missing parts of the ship wondering if it'll even run. The other pod appeared to be blown out most likely due to ships jumping inside of it which meant they would have to go with the safer pod.
Turning to the emergency crates, he opened it up as he noticed Colonial space suits as he started to undo his vest; "Bring us around and put us inside of the pod...try and aim for a magnetic platform."

Waking up to the excitement, Daniel was stunned considering he heard of the Galactica from the Colonials that had settled on Terra. The Galactica was once the back bone of the fleet, a ship not just feared but hated by the Cylons and even rumors that it was destroyed yet it laid here not in the best shape but still in one piece. Checking over the power levels as he got up, wedging past Thomas and the few Terran Spec Ops before pulling out a crate of power cables; "Connect it to the main controls on the exterior and should have enough power to lower the lift but it'll take a few raptors connected to the ship power generators before it has lights or anything else. I should be going with you at least we can put the Marines in the cockpit and close that main door before opening this hatch."
Picking up a space suit as he started to slip it on, for him it was a dream to be on the Galactica with the history around it especially the battles it has been in.

Flipping on the nose lights, she carefully guided the raptor into the pod as she stabilized with thrusters trying to find the best magnetic lift before setting down. Using the emergency switches, she flipped off the engines before opening up the locks for the power control before closing off the cockpit with the pair of Marines in the tight space with her. Turning off the lights, she tapped her radio as other raptors began offloading men in zero g suits to bring their raptors down onto the hanger deck.

Ensuring their oxygen was secure, Thomas opened up the hatch as he helped Daniel out with the crate; pulling out the power cables as he connected to port on the wing and soon to the one on the deck. Accessing power controls, the lift began to lower down and closed the outer doors before pressurizing; with what was left of the overall oxygen supply.
Taking off his helmet, he flipped on the lights from his suit as he took a look around, noticing sections of the hanger was tore apart most likely from battle damage. Feeling the gravity barely operational, he knew this would easy considering Terrans work better in places that other people would be having issues with. Calling out to the teams, they started pulling out the cables to connect all the raptors together and picking a hatch to weave all of it through.

Walking around, Daniel pulled a bullet out of the wall as he brushed it off; he noticed it was from a Centurion most likely during an old boarding before the ship was hidden. Measuring the oxygen and carbon, spotting that the CO2 scrubbers were offline meaning even with the raptors scrubbing the air it still wouldn't be enough. Strolling over to the hatch, he opened it up as he started through the corridor with the cables behind him as he spotted the chemical lights still on; carrying the cables to engineering as he connected it to the main power generators.
Starting up the oxygen and CO2 scrubbers along with the lights and the gravity generators, knowing that without gravity then their weapons aren't as accurate followed by the computers. Peering over the FTL drive, he knew it wouldn't jump without some serious work considering key components were missing.

Climbing out of the raptor, she soon took cover inside again as the gravity came back and so did the debris, flipping the lights on her vest as she started sifting through the debris. Sections of raptor hull plating along with bullets figuring this was from an old fire fight as she held onto her P90 as she started down into the corridor. Stepping into another corridor, she glanced over the photos as she tapped her radio; "We need a unit to come by Corridor 22 Section Alpha, it appears the Colonials had a tribute setup and it would be nice to bring that back to them," pulling a photo off of Colonel Briggs with Alex, his wife and even Jack Reynolds. Tucking the photo into her vest, she opened up one of the crates as she noticed bullets as she followed the corridor down to the munitions locker; flipping on the lights to a full armory.
Tapping her radio, she peered over all the bullets as she stayed up on the balcony as she peered over the many types; "We may not have too much fuel or an FTL but we have enough bullets to hold the enemy back for a couple hours."

Stepping into the CIC, he started down into the core as he spotted the monitor tower was on top the command table as he called over a small crew to wield it back onto the roof. Pulling out his tactical pad as he connected it to the Dradis as he powered it up, "Daniel, I'm going to need you in the CIC and from this point on we'll stick with call signs; Jackel out."
Moving over to the helm, he slowly moved the acceleration controls forward as he put in a course outside the nebula; feeling the engines slowly moving the once dead ship.

Double checking things in engineering, he added new compression ratios to conserve the fuel they did have left before starting up to the CIC. Walking through the corridors, he started into the CIC as he started up a few consoles before noticing the jump key was missing; "Well even if we could jump can't do it without the jump key," peering over the atmospheric controls, "the CO2 scrubbers are 50% effective but we have enough air to last a month."
Walking over to the table, he pulled out the star charts as he noticed something odd; "Jackel, it appears this nebula is only a light year from the Cylon home world which means that Basestar was attempting to go home it also means they can their ship faster and soon us," peering up at the Dradis as they exit the nebula.

Walking back into the corridor, she glanced over the photos as she picked off a few of the downed pilots that they had lost including one of all the Galactica pilots with an old Sec of Defense as the CAG. Grabbing a crate, she began taking down the pictures and placing them in the crate; figuring that some of the Colonials would like to see their old colleagues.

Glancing over the gun controls as he tapped his radio, "I'm putting the ship under Condition Two and let's figure out which weapons work starting with the cannons," picking up the ship inventory list as he checked over it wondering if they could seriously take on a Basestar.

Sprinting through the corridors, the Marines began connecting the munition belts to the small arms and cannons before climbing into the remaining cannons as they ran through the basics to bring them online. Rotating, they checked through the firing sights to ensure they were accurate but sitting tight knowing if anything showed up then they would know.
Other Marines began setting up barriers between the CIC and the hanger deck, knowing with the ammunition they had it was gong to be one hell of a siege if the Cylons found them.

Placing last of the photos into the crate, she closed it up as a pair of Marines carried it to the raptor as she opened up the armory noticing nothing but spare grenades and rifles with no ammunition to load up into them. Calling over Marines to take off the hatch to use it as a barrier as well, she double checked her P90 as she checked over her space clips knowing once she runs through her 4 clips then her pistol wouldn't do much against a Centurion.
Reorganizing the teams to ensure they used their ammunition is completely used in the best way possible before falling back to the next team. Moving towards the pod, she called into the CIC to have the other one retracted to ensure the one way to get onboard was completely under their control.
