Marla looked up at the sound of a raptor taking off and straining to gain altitude and speed. She knew who was on board. That meant they had little time to get to the Marauder before she took off herself. Looking at the man, she motioned for them to get outside.
"Mr Vice-President, we need to go and we need to do it quickly. We don;t have much time left. There's a vehicle outside."
Marla waited for the man to go ahead of her. Closing up the rear, they exited the building and immediately boarded the waiting vehicle.
"It'll take us a few minutes to reach the Marauder. So far, there is no enemy activity here but that could change at any given moment."

Having been flying around for a while, and seeing that Clayton had safely launched the raptor carrying the Judge and a few other personnel, Sam smiled as the flipped on her comm and forwarded a message to the Marauder's CIC, thanking the Captain for all of his hospitality. Seeing as there were no contacts, she landed the viper back on the Marauder, found her own raptor that she'd arrived in, and relaunched from the ship. Within minutes, the raptor was gone from sight, back to the Atlantia's last known position. It was time for her to get back to her duties, as she'd taken enough time away and intruded as it was.

Ben looked at the woman for a brief moment, he recognized her. He had ran into her in the sewers before being 'captured'. After the Terran had announced herself and holstered her sidearm the Vice President had done so as well. Hesitantly he starred at her while she spoke. After she was done he spoke
"Very well lets go""
The Seven followed the others out of the building to a caravan of vehicles. The hummer that Marla had stepped into was situated between two other hummers, but these had been equipped with large guns. Little had been escorted by two Terran marines to the vehicle. Climbing into it he sat down and waited a few moments before speaking.
"Ok, what the frak is goin on here? Last I hear Doral abolished the Colonial Government, or was that just a ploy to fool the Cylons. That Five better not have been a Cylon spy. I want answers!?"

"The President was no spy, for that much we are sure of. As for the Colonial government being disbanded, we suspect it's a ruse to bring the Cylons out into the open, and it worked. Their little surface assault force is about to be given a rude awakening. You must get to the Marauder, which will launch and get you safely out of harms way so you can get the two Colonial Admirals to the Atlantia. We know your Fleet Admiral Middleton has a surprise in store for them." Marla knew exactly what was in store for Naguchi and Montrose. She wanted to share it with the man but couldn't. Turning to the driver, Marla let her lack of patience be known. "Sergeant, if you don't get this vehicle moving faster, I swear your mother won't be able to identify your corpse, got it?" The young woman stared ahead and pushed the accelerator to the floor, the hummer flying down the freshly paved road. Within minutes, Marla could see the lumbering ship sitting there, armed troops all around the ship. She also saw the imposing figure of the ship's Captain standing in the hatchway of the hangar bay, looking at his watch. "We're almost there. Combat exit people, no telling who's watching all of this."

Joseph was getting impatient and it was only a matter of time before their ship attracted the attention of the Cylons. Looking at the leftenant standing next to him, he gave her an order.
"Go back to the bridge, get the ship set to take off in five minutes. If they aren't here by then, we leave and take our two guests to the Atlantia without the Vice-President."
The Leftenant nodded and walked away. Joseph spoke softly to himself.
"This frakking better work Mr. Doral or I will personally hunt you down and bring your head back on a platter."

Trottle sat there listening to Marla speak. He was thinking about the actions he must take to correctly handle the situation. Bens mind was trailing off while she had turned her attention on the sergeant driving. It was up to him to lead the Colonials in a war against the Cylons. Was he ready for this?
With his Cylon healing by the time they had reached the landing site his shoulder was healed. Taking off the makeshift sling letting it fall to the floor of the vehicle. The word given for a combat exit made the Vice President come alert. Brandishing his sidearm he ready himself. He gave a sideways glance to the agent as to say 'dont say a word'. He wasn't upset at her, Little just knew she would protest to him trying to engage the enemy.

As soon as the vehicles had stopped, Marla was out and scanning the area around them. She noticed the Vice-President had drawn his weapon and while she was about to say something, she decided it would do no good. Nodding towards the waiting ship, she gestured for the man to go before her.
"After you, Mr. Vice-President. We're out of time and from the look on the Captain's face, he's run out of patience."
With that, Marla, the Vice-President and several Colonial Marines boarded the ship. Stopping at the top of the ramp, Marla looked at the Vice-President and the Captain.
"He's all yours no Captain Markus. Safe travels to the Atlantia."
Looking at the Vice-President, she extended her hand.
"Mr. Vice-President, good luck and when you see the President, tell him to frak off for me, will you? He made a big mess that will take months to clean up. See to it the two traitors of yours are dealt with. They almost succeeded in handing things over to the Nationalists and the rebels."
Saluting the men, Marla ran back down the ramp and to the waiting vehicles. Now, it was time for her to head home and fight off a Cylon attack.

Setting up a makeshift podium, the young Lieutenant approached the mic, not even sure why he should announce this but it had to reassure the people that the 2 largest armies of Terra wasn't going to attempt a coup. Taking a deep breath as the channel was opened throughout the fleet, "This is Lieutenant Young, I'm here to brief not just the public but the government on the situation thus far. The SF Division and Marine Corps have completely left Terra, reports are unconfirmed but suggestions are made that they went to the Colonies to free what's left of them. If we hear more we'll pass it along but they have taken 10 SF Battlestars with them, the SF Division would like to remind everyone that they would never strike against the government thus rumors of a coup would be that those of Nationalist or Colonial origin. There is nothing more, I will now take questions and remember I can't devolge any details on any operations."

It's been several months now since the latest Cylon attacks on the planet and all appears to be in order. Since that time, the Colonial military presence on the planet has been reduced to just a few hundred marines and a handful of Colonial Viper squadrons. The majority of the Colonial Fleet has been sent to the various shipyards for repairs and in some cases complete overhauls.
The civilian officials have all returned to their respective areas to resume the business of government. Still, with no actual working Colonial civilian government, there is unrest among the Colonial civilian population and tensions have steadily risen over the course of these past several months. Judge Schwein and her followers have been attemptimg to maintain a central working government but have met heavy resistance from the other civilian officials.
Drexl Industries have positined itself as the one source ofr almost all manufacturing on the planet and elsewhere in the solar system. The large as a planet weapons platform, known as the Drex Star, continues to provide the main defense for the planet and the surrounding air space, putting Drexl in a most advantageous position. The young and upcoming Terran fleet continues to assert itself in the absence of the Colonial Fleet, which is the only force preventing Drexl from assuming complete military control in the system. Soon however, the Colonial Fleet will be returning it's vessels to service.

At the new Presidential office on the grounds of Corinth University, near the airport
Timeline: Three weeks after having arrived in the Capital
It had been almost three weeks now since J and Captain Markus, along with several of the new Quorum members and a security detail from the CMS Marauder, had arrived in the capital city. Having set up temporary space in the Mayors office and finally getting the word out to the citizens of Terra and the Fleet that the government was being re-formed, J was ready to finalize the announcement with a personal message to everyone.
The city was still in disarray and ruin from the massive Cylon attack a year ago so getting the media outlets to get their equipment to the capital and setting up the satellite feeds had taken much longer than expected and it was frustrating J to no end. Already the quarreling between the various factions had begun-the Federalists set against the Spartists, the Isolationists in the Southern Hemisphere against the Monarchists in the north, just south of the Capital, the Gondawans against the Expantionists, and the Quorum crying about being left out. J secretly wished he had just gone to the Independence Brig and not immersed himself in this debacle and experiment in futility.
What the frak was Ben Little thinking when he started to re-form the government? Doral was probably onto something when he disbanded the Colonial government, as illegal as it may have been. Looking at his new Chief Aide, Neko Goor (the former woman having decided to pursue a different path in the new government by accepting the post of Agriculture Secretary), J smiled and nodded that he was ready. Looking at the array of cameras and recording devices, J cleared his throat and read from the teleprompter in front of him.
"Ladies and gentlement of Terra, the Colonial and Terran Fleets, citizens of the Terran system, and mostly, our Cylon allies and fellow Colonial citizens: For those of you who do not yet know who I am, allow me to introduce myself. I am J Castorious, former Acting President of the 12 Colonies of Kobol and Colonial Marine. Ever since President Phineas Doral announced some almost two years ago the disbandment of the Colonial government, our combined societies have been in an upheval and in total disarray. Fortunately, the late President Benjamin Little saw the error of that decision and was in the process of re-forming the government when he was killed by Cylon forces, done so while saving several thousand souls doing what he knew best, being a warrior. We shall never forget his actions those months ago and for that reason, I am formally announcing the reforming of the Colonial government, a government that will be for all citizens of Terra and her fleets and stations and settlements. This action is effective immediately. In the coming days, I will be announcing the members of my cabinet and will be visiting the various ships and settlements, as well as condcuting a goodwill tour of Terra herself. I thank you all and may the Gods continue to look down upon us with favor."

The crash was a blur but even after the crash the radiation detector was still ticking away. Waking up and instinctively unbuckling himself from the flight seat, he dropped to the ground as groans could be heard around him. The Raptor had been split in two with debris and the team spread between two crash sites. Sitting against the twisted metal, Victor could hear his A.I yelling at him while blood covered the right side of his face.
Get your ass up! They need you right now
Reaching over to his back to pull out the sterile water as he washed out his wound and eyes before putting on one of Gabe's spare goggle sunglasses. Getting the Tauron out of the flight seat, he laid him down but couldn't treat anyone with this radioactive ash around but he wasn't alone out here. Drawing his pistol, the glasses outlined a man who was slowly approaching with a squad of soldiers; "Who are you?"
