With upgraded ship comes upgraded armories thus upgraded weapons...small arms, long rifles, LMGs, SMGs...you name it and they have it with magazines filled and matching tactical gear. Explosives and detonators but all locked out unless you have the right access.

Passing a group of Marines, Michael opened one of the lockers to pull out a P90 with several magazines as he set the weapon down on the mat in the Firing Range. Screwing a suppressor on while slipping on a vest to hold his magazines while he thought about the few Kobol Special Forces units that they have on board. Ever since the decree to adopt all Terrans as Kobol natives, he has been monitoring the orders from the top to train more SFs even restarting the A.I hybrid program given the difficulty of taming Kobol. Taking aim at the paper target, he was against having an A.I in his head though he still has one of his own with it working in the background.
Changing out magazines, he whispered to the Artificial Intelligence as he slapped the butt end to reload for he knew she was prioritizing his body to process the alcohol; "You've had time to think..."
"Things are repeating themselves."
"How so?"
"Kobolans were about finding the common ground between organic and inorganic. Except, they weren't under constant threat of the inorganics and well it seems like keeping you relatively close to Kobol means we'll have to wait for them to come to us."
Setting the rifle down, Michael knew pulling off protection duty meant anything they ran into meant they would be truly alone. Maybe she was right. Maybe this lingering was a slow death and he could see it though she has a special insight on his thoughts, unzipping his vest; "Fleet is growing. Maybe it's a good time to check on the Cylons maybe it'll help get rid of this migraine," hanging up the vest for it meant recalling the crews and bringing the ship back up to 100%. Headed back up to the CIC, Michael knew he would have to make special requests with his brother to get hybrid teams on board.
