"Captain, that is standard amongst both Marines and SFs considering we both do stealth operations," his A.I knew this Colonial was reaching for straws. Reaching into his vest for a pill bottle, popping a pair of pills as he hid the name of the pills; "can we get him to Medical or shall we strip down to make you feel comfortable with us?"
This Colonial was going to be an issue for his long term plan with his A.I formulating a plan to either kill or injure this pilot. He had a plan... He made a point but JJ wasn't taking any chances. She knew she had seen him putting it into his pocket right after Grif yelled out in pain. Oh he was cagey all right, but she was nobody's fool. "The rest of them can take Grif to Medical. You are coming with me til we get this sorted out" she nodded for the rest of them to take the injured Grif and kept November separated from them. Grif was in a lot of pain but tried to grimace through it. The SFs had him on their shoulders and he was limping along as best he could. The entire deck was just a mess. Dead bodies, both Marines and Colonials and even a couple of Special Forces lay in pooled blood and it was a little bit of a task to even maneuver around them. She gave November a shove "Get going! I'm taking you to the Brig til the Admiral or the Colonel are awake and they can deal with you."

This ship was big but still wasn't commissioned which made him wonder what they were doing; "A Captain escorting a Lieutenant Colonel to a room still under construction concerning a suppressor that comes standard," turning to the woman, "shooter was in a flight suit and once Gabriel gets out of surgery he can tell us about the traitor so...where are we going, Captain Frost?"

A Captain escorting a would be assassin is how I see it. I know what I saw, even though you think you have covered your tracks." she kept the gun trained on him. Looking around the hangar deck for someone she could trust when her eyes saw Starscream heading her way on the double. "Give me a hand here Starscream. He attempted to assassinate Grif." Starscream grabs hold of his right arm. "I don't need an actual Brig to hold you. Get moving" she pushed the gun into his back so he felt it as they walked through the hatch. "Make your way to the CIC. There's Security there and we will hold you there til the Admiral or the Colonel arrives"

Looking around the hangar deck for someone she could trust when her eyes saw Starscream heading her way on the double. "Give me a hand here Starscream. He attempted to assassinate Grif." Starscream grabs hold of his right arm. Hearing a commotion, I look across the deck and see the CAG holding her weapon on November. "What the hell now?" I mutter then run over to find out what's up. "Yes, Ma'am" I grab hold of November's right arm and we head for the CIC. "This day has been straight out of Hell and it's cause of traitors like YOU" I shake his arm as I hold it a little tighter.

Frost and I are back and ready to lend a hand to get this deck cleaned up and back in operating order. I go find the Chief at the far side of the deck "Chief, what do you need?" I give him a hand moving a dead body out of the way. He takes one arm and I grab hold of the other one and we pull. We drag it to the far area of the deck where it's mostly just storage area.

Grateful for the help I nod at the Lieutenant as he grabs hold of a dead guy.
"Just get 'em all out of the way so we could launch if we needed to. We're gonna gather all the dead at the storage area til the Admiral can conduct Last Rights and Services for the Fallen." I grunt as this one is particularly heavy and hard to move "once we get that done, we can start washing and then bleaching the deck out". I wipe my brow with a somewhat clean rag "Thanks for the help too" We head off for another one.

Frost looks across the expanse of the deck and that "glint" keeps resurfacing in her mind. She walked over to the spot where she saw the flash and found some shell casings. "Well, well, looks like you forgot something. I think the Admiral may be quite interested in these." she said quietly as she picked them up with a glove that she had found closeby. Placing the shell casings safely in her pocket she helped pull the dead to the storage area with the Chief and Starscream. She would hand the casings over soon enough.
JJ couldn't help but wonder how Grif was doing. She had not seen or heard anything about him since the SF's helped haul him off to the Med Bay supposedly. The way this day was going maybe she should have followed up and checked on him. She put down the body she was moving and then walked over to the phone.
Picking it up she dialed up the medical bay.
{{{ring ring}}} 'Medical" the operator answered.
"This is Captain Frost and I am calling to check on a patient. He should have been brought in a couple hours ago with a hand injury, a bad one. And I think he may have had a bullet to the torso?" JJ bit her lip as she waited.

" Abby, tell Captain Frost we have him now and I will personally see to his care" "Captain, the Doctor said he just arrived and that she will personally see to his care. Thank you for alerting us" Abby hangs up the phone and returns to her normal duties.

JJ breathed a sigh of relief "Thank you, I'm glad to know he's in good hands" she placed the phone back in the cradle and returned to clearing the deck with the Chief and the rest of the Crew.
"At least the Admiral is ok and back in control so this day may end on a good note yet" she thought as she pulled yet another one to the storage area.

Arriving onto the Battlestar, Tyson's troops paused as a new report came in...something just exploded in high atmosphere. Buildings, structures even people were flattened and there was no uncertainty how far this went considering communication lines were offline. Grabbing his chest, Tyson could feel his heart slowing to a stop for the Terra he just recently left was likely gone...everything he had built was likely reduced to nothing. Dropping to the ground, his men now attended to the man who was dying before them as crews made calls to the Medical personnel. This was stress as well as heart break now killing him and knowing that the prideful hope he once had was gone.
Conducting CPR on the General, the SFs could see the deck hands helping while a signal was sent to J and Sirolk via text wireless:
Tyson Down...Repeat General William Tyson is down...

Post by Major Gabriel 'Grif' Cooper on Mar 7, 2022 3:17:34 GMT -6
Covering up his robotic hand, Gabriel took a deep breath while sliding his black jacket over his arms with his vest in his other hand. Seeing more Raptors getting pulled out with gear strapped to wings and more Marine Medics for the assigned mission. Climbing onto his assigned Raptor, he took a seat in the cockpit beside Starscream who gave him a long stare. Joint Colonial/Terran Ops but for him it was pretty standard...
Setting his vest down onto the deck, he attached his medical packs to his thighs before strapping in. Slipping on his orange shades, he tapped his radio while the pilot prepared for launch with their escort of two Raptors; "Orange Squad set."

Carrying all of his gear with a packon his back as well as a portable scanner and extra hydration bags which meant his Raptor was heavy. Climbing inside, Victor set his pack down while pulling out his mask to see the CAG piloting. Tapping his radio with Orange checking in with their escorts, slipping on his ball cap; "Cyan Squad reporting in," strapping in with their escorts following.

Carrying her pack meant to securely carry hard drives and sensitive files which put her mission in the bunker with her team carrying rifles as well as incendiary devices. Grenades and fuel containers lined her pack as well as a few crates of G5 explosives made for mining but adapted for this mission. Moving past the Marines and the SF pilot, Rebecca took a seat as she had her squad prepare flight; "Red Squad is set."

Receiving the message from the Admiral, Tom knew Recovery was always the most difficult part which is why they didn't carry any MRE's with them just nutrition bars. Bringing down food would create a riot and hinder any progress they would make so simple is better. Climbing onto the Raptor, Tom could see the other three squadrons launching as he took a seat in the back for he found it uncomfortable in the front; "Black Squad is clear and will setup ground side communication," closing the channel as his three escorts began to leave for the surface.

As Captain Georgette Halama, CF (NPC)
"Titan Control, this is Colonial Raptor 1764, inbound from the City of Corinth, or what's left of it. Transporting high priority cargo, am aware you have medical team on stand-by. Making our approach to your Port Pod and am calling the ball green. Raptor 1764 over."
"Raptor 1764, you are cleared for high priority landing, Titan out."
Banking the raptor to the right, she came in from behind the massive ships engines, being careful so as to not get too close and burn her ship up. Seeing the Landing bay in front of her, she eased back off of the throttle and came into the Port Pod nice and slow. After all, she was carrying the President of Terra, who was still in a medically induced coma.
Gently touching down on the deck, she made her way to a waiting elevator that would take her and the raptor into the Hangar Bay, where a medical team would be waiting to take the President to a brand new, state of the art medical facility.
"Titan Control, we are on the deck, taxiing to the elevator, Raptor 1764 out."
Once the raptor had stopped, the elevator began the downward trip into the Hangar Bay. Turning in her seat, georgette smiled at the medical team with the President.
"There's a medical team standing by. Once the President is off loaded, we'll re-fuel and then get on our way to the Marauder Dr. Kaun."
