One of the few portions of the Titan that adheres to them Colonial design doctrine, the hanger follows the same design as the Mercury Class with one clear difference. The lower bays have air tight doors allowing there to be an atmosphere thus allow them crews to conduct training during extended operations.
Another hidden feature includes a system called: Munitions on Demand. Upon lining up on pads on the deck, the pilot can request specific munitions such as additional cannons, missiles and even drones in which the system will line up with hard points either on the wings or in internal hold and automatically mount the assigned weapons prior to entry into the launch tube. This system eliminates the use of live munitions on the deck thus can reduce accidents by 70%.

Standing at the airlock while the Tauron crew and Terrans verified the seal before opening the doors. Stepping onto the deck, the Titan cost billions of cubits but she also knew the Council would go visit the President first. Watching the Representatives board the shuttles and Raptors, she remained as she noticed the Admiral in the distance but paused only for a moment. The man cleaned up nicely with his beard trimmed, hair cut and the new Fleet uniform but she knew there was anger behind those eyes.
Placing her hands behind her back, she approached the man as she dismissed the guards; "Admiral, good to see you," noticing his posture was more of the SF soldier he was, "I see you have changed some but how about a tour of this ship?"

Noticing a message from Tyson, Michael transferred command to Hale as he had a Mark 8 prepared for launch. Turning to Ashley, he took a deep breath for this woman had done more harm in his own frakkin life even putting him on Kobol that resulted in her loss...his blood was boiling. Whispering to the woman as his Marine escorts prepared a pair of Mark 10's for launch, holding his hands behind his back; "Better pray Tyson returns with me otherwise we might see an old SF with no restraint," walking over to the new Viper as they started into the launch tubes.

The newest CAG was a little excited and a lot nervous about this new ship. She decided it would be in her best interest to take a long look around at the hangar deck so she felt more at home. As JJ walked the expansive deck she nodded to the various deck hands as they went about their work. Granted, there wasn't an awful lot for them to do just yet with this being a brand new ship and all. But they still found sweeping it gratifying and placing their various work tools in the proper order in their personal work areas.
She spied a Raptor and quickly made her way over to it. "Amazing! Absolutely amazing!" she thought as she lightly ran her hand over it's outer shell before opening the ramp to walk inside.
JJ looked at everything. It was like getting into a brand new car years ago before the Cylons ruined everyone's lives. "That smell! Oh that wonderful newly constructed leather like smell in the air" she breathed deeply then headed up to the cockpit and lowered herself into the Pilot's seat.
She flipped some switches just to look at the various displays but not start the engine. Like you would turn the motor to ON in an automobile but not engage the actual engine. She started to smile and laugh softly. She turned her head "Hey Crashdown, look this!" and she swung her head to look back at her ECO Stanley "Crashdown" Evans.
Not finding Stanley in his ECO seat she suddenly remembered. She felt so sad. The horrible accident with the radiation sickness. She had made it because he had shielded her and took the full brunt of it all with her isolated up front in the Pilots area. JJ suddenly felt like she couldn't breathe. "No Air" she gasped as she shut down the displays.
She felt her heart racing! Hard! She closed her eyes and took in a deep breath. She was not going to let this get the better of her. Stanley was gone. She was alive. Life goes on. She kept her eyes closed as she thought about what life was going to be like now without her trusted ECO backing her every move.
"The new Admiral, hmm..... time will tell I guess with that one. He's obviously struggling with loss of his beloved wife and he's been placed in a leadership role that just might get them all killed if he doesn't do everything exactly right. Can we trust him? Well, again, time will tell I guess."

Stepping onto the deck, Jonathan managed to get away from the Commander as he had Oliver and Samuel prepare the four man drop pod for launch. Changing out of the uniform and into an Black Op fatigues with the black atmospheric suit and darkened helmets for the trip down. Placing his vest and rifle into his pack, he began slipping on the suit as the pod got setup in the launch tube. Watching the CAG walk around, they climbed inside the pod as the doors closed and launched them planet side.

This was most skeptical and since she was the CAG should not have happened without her knowledge. At least, not in her mind it shouldn't. "This isn't gonna slide with me. A lot of unscheduled activities and underhanded, out right insubordination was happening on this ship and it's time someone get called on it." she muttered under her breath as she very quickly walked over to the intercom and rang up the CIC "This is the CAG, Frost, and I would like to be brought up to speed as to who and what was just launched from this hangar deck? I was unaware of any planned launches!!!" She placed her right hand on her hip and held the receiver with her left hand waiting for an answer.

Checking over the list, Bernard knew the Captain had to leave early but was unaware of what was happening considering they had been running through tests; "There are no scheduled launches and a few SFs said they were pulling out their drop pod for modifications," closing the channel as the Titan moved into orbit to begin a direct interface with the orbital defense grid.

JJ hung up after thanking the person on the other end. She was very skeptical that what she saw was as benign as he would have her believe. "no scheduled launches. Yet, she knew what she saw, whether the Powers that Be wanted to admit it or not. Something was going on." she would definitely be watching things a lot closer in the future.

Letting the automated landing system take hold, Michael holstered his weapon as the skids folded down while the Marines landed behind him. The platform lowered down with the air tight doors closing overhead, the cockpit lifted up with him climbing out after taking a quick glance; "CAG, get up to the CIC but have your pilots set to fly."
Patting the side of the Viper, Michael started his sprint to the CIC with this jacket open; moving past the SF teams as they stepped onto the deck.

Patting the side of the Viper, Michael started his sprint to the CIC with this jacket open; moving past the SF teams as they stepped onto the deck. "Yes Sir!" JJ was startled but set about gathering up the Pilots by making a shipwide announcement. Picking up the intercom she made sure it was on then pressed the talk button sending the message throughout the Titan. "This is the CAG Speaking - All Pilots report to the Hangar Deck and prepare for duty. Stand by for further instructions. CAG Out" she placed the intercom back in the cradle and took off for the CIC with a quick jog. If the Admiral ran, she felt she better get her butt up there!

The Ship Wide PA alerted and the following message was broadcast throughout the Ship: I finally get to the hangar bay and go join up with the other pilots. We're all dressed in flight suits, carrying helmets and waiting for the CAG to let us know the mission.

I almost bump into Star Scream as I hurry to join the rest of the Pilots. I pull my hair back into a low pony tail so the helmet will fit over it and wait quietly with everyone else. Some of these people I know, others are definitely new. Making a mental note to get acquainted with the ones that I don't recognize once this mission finishes up.

JJ quickly walked to where the Pilots all stood gathered. The Chief pulled a platform over for her to step up to speak from. The Chief handed her a bullhorn and she began.
"Thank you for waiting. I was being briefed by the Admiral on our mission. We will be flying the new birds and this is not a drill. This is for real, folks. The Cylons have taken General Thrax and disappeared with him. We know where they jumped from, but we have no idea where they jumped to. The Admiral is convinced we still have the upper hand so here's what we are going to do."
She could see the determined looks on all of their faces realizing that one of their own was in eminent danger. "No person left behind! Ever! We will get the General back" She knew the mission was far from easy but this crew was new and needed to prove to each other that they were the very best of the best. "The Admiral wants us to jump onto the last known location of the Cylons with a signal buoy and setup a perimeter. Each Mark V will carry a signal tracking buoy and you will place it at a pre determined location. The stealth on the Mark X is top mark so its extremely unlikely that the Cylons will detect the Vipers. We will wait until the Cylons jump back and rescue General Thrax. If we are somehow detected by the Cylons at that point Titan will jump in and at that point everyone heads back and Titan will nuke the station." She lowered the bullhorn then raised it back again "Any questions?"

Rushing onto the deck with the black and red pressure suit, James rushed into formation as he saw Gabe with other SFs showing up in dark red pressure suits. Listening to the CAG, he was anxious to try put the new Vipers though he knew those ships were made for speed.

JJ waited but no questions came. She placed the bullhorn to her mouth area once again. "The deck crew has your ride prepared with the signal buoys so mount up." She nodded toward the SFs "You men want to take point on this one? I'm good with following your lead. If not, fall in." she wasn't all that eager to go head to head with them but damnit she was the one the Admiral put in this position so it was hers to take control of.
The Pilots hurried to their various Vipers placing their helmets on and pulling on their flight gloves. Fastening that final snap that secured them for warmth. JJ stepped down off the make shift podium, waiting to see what the SFs did.
