This is the Medical Bay to the Battlestar Titan with this space tucked into the middle of the Battlestar for protection and considered the most advance Medical Bay found in the Fleet.

The Marine in front gets to the med bay and the doors glide open one to each side so a gurney will roll thru if necessary. Reminds me of a french door kinda thing. I look around as I carry the locked box. Wondering where the drug supply cabinet is I start looking further into the room. I walk past some very new type of treatment area. All fancy and clean. Looks very sterile and high end. I am impressed.
I mutter quietly to myself here "looks like you gave me quite an upgrade, Admiral Martin. This will do nicely" I finally locate the drug supply cabinet and head over to it. Setting the box on the counter nearby as I pick up the envelope that contains the digital code to unlock it. I commit the code to memory and stuff the numbers back into my pocket. I will destroy this later.
Spinning the code into the cabinet and it pops open and illuminates all at once. The shelves are pristine and the temperature is controlled setting. I unlock the box I carried and begin to put away all the supplies.
Realizing the Marines are wondering what to do I turn to the one in charge "Just have your guys set the boxes down out of the way and I'll get them unpacked soon. And thank you all for your help. I couldn't have done it without you guys" I smile as they start setting boxes down.

Post by Lt. Oliver Hudson on Nov 6, 2021 3:38:34 GMT -6
Buttoning up his jacket, Oliver spent most of his morning getting a clean bill of health though he had to answer questions about his various scars. Kobol had left her mark with his battle with the monotone tigers leaving his back unrecognizable and a massive bite mark on his thigh where one had dragged him before he killed it. The warning about the smoking had lingered but honestly he never thought about it considering they were living in borrowed time till the gods wanted a sacrifice.
Lighting his black cig, he passed by John and the Specialists as he headed to the bar with his clearing being logged.

Rolling a fresh cig, Samuel nodded to Oliver on his way out as he placed the cig in the case while the nurse had him strip. Laying down on the scanner, immediately it was identified that he had bullets embedded in his lower thigh and right shoulder likely from years ago which needed to be removed. It does explain his excessive use of drugs but meant no clearance for him as he sat up, putting back on his pants as they took him back. Picking up a light sweater, Samuel waited while he watched them get examined.

Stripping down, he handed over his own medical file that he had kept updated as the scanner started up. His skeleton was covered in fractures that had healed at one point in his life. Scars along the right side of his body from Kobol as well as an incision at the base of his neck for his A.I upgrade. Titanium bones make up his legendary right hand from a live fire exercise during training that destroyed his hand. A few ribs that had been replaced with the anti allergenic following through his blood stream to provide a defense against Kobol unfortunately it had a success rate of 64% with everyone working on and alternative. While the Admiral may have blamed himself it was Victor who lived with the knowledge that thousands died from their bodies rejecting the medication. Receiving a clean bill, he got dressed but waited for the Lt. Colonel for he had to train the man and his A.I.

After examining and giving the all clear to most of the Special Forces who had reported to this point the Doctor was amazed how these men even functioned. She flipped through the charts to see who was left for examinations.
Making a face she pressed her lips together tightly and closed the last chart. "Rear Admiral Michael Martin" she would have to make sure he showed up but now was not the time to press the issue. She scribbled a note and handed it to the last guy just before he left.
"Give this to the Admiral in person please. It's a summons to report here for his own Clearance" she looked sternly but then smiled cause she knew he'd probably try to side step the procedure. "No rush, be he does have to see me sooner or later" she turned and got back to work checking the supplies were in order.

Stripping down to this boxers, John laid down on the scanner as the nurse reviewed everything but unlike everyone else he didn't have too many replacement parts. Getting a cleared bill of health, he got dressed as he turned to Victor; "So what is the plan," noticing the man walking out with Oliver for the training started now.

Dr Dailey sat at her station going over all the test results and making sure everything was documented as required. She was meticulous and order was most important in her Medical Bay. She laid all the charts to the side, keeping the one on the Rear Admiral right in the middle where it kept staring up at her in a somewhat mocking fashion.
Miranda pushed her chair back and stood up. She patted the folder that read "Rear Admiral Martin, Michael" and muttered "Oh, you'll be down here for your checkup soon enough Admiral. I will make sure you are!" she straightened her white coat and headed out to find something to eat.

Stepping onto Medical, it had now became apparent that punching the wall was probably not the best idea considering he knew he done more damage. Having help from nurses on taking off his jacket and rolling up his sleeve, his frustrations had damaged his left hand. Laying down on a bed, the doctors quickly restrained his hand before easing the pain before putting him out while they worked. Slowly closing his eyes, he could see Samantha once more before she disappeared and he entered darkness...

INSIDE MEDICAL EXAM CUBICLE Stepping onto Medical, it had now became apparent that punching the wall was probably not the best idea considering he knew he done more damage. Dr Dailey heard the Admiral and he was apparently in pain. She pushed away from the station and hurried into the cubicle where he was waiting. She noted his closed eyes and knew the pain must be excruciating for him to be just laying there. "Hello Admiral. What have you done now?" she gingerly held his hand and examined it. Realizing he was not really with it she ordered a pain reliever and X Rays of the swollen hand. "We'll get you fixed up." She nodded to the Physician Assistant to take him for the X Ray. X RAY COMPLETED Dr Dailey pushed the film onto the light and looked at it. She had one of two options here. Putting her hand in her pocket she walked closer to the Admiral. "Well, you have broken your hand, Sir. Now I can set it and you wear a cast for about a month. Or, I can do surgery on it and you'll be fine in about ten days. The decision is yours." she waited for his reaction.

Taking a second to think, he knew surgery would leave a scar but still would have his hand wrapped up for ten days or he could get a black cast for his hand. His frustrations put him in this situation and he would have to deal with it as he turned to the Doctor; "Just set it and cast it. Likely the way it is going might be in her for the same issue," trying to smile, "good time for that physical," noticing the damage to his hand as he whispered to Aura within a projection, 'Was that you or her?'
Turning to him, Aura watched the Doctor work as she whispered to him; 'I have no record of what you saw. There are some things I cannot explain.'

The Dr looked at him quisicly "You or her?" she gently placed the bones back into place as he did his best not to grimmace. "Well," the Dr replied as she proceeded to set the hand and begin the wrapping procedure "we got time for that physical. But not til you are not on pain killers. I need you to be alert and honest when we do the physical. So let's just" she wrapped up the hand and put the setting lotion over it all "wait a day or two." Once finished she took the ultraviolet light and waved it over the cast to rapidly set it so it didn't shift. The Dr crossed her arms over her chest and looked Michael directly in the eyes "Now, you mind telling me just how this happened?" secretly wondering if the pressures of his new position might be a little hard for him to manage. "And don't try to sugar coat it. I know you did this on purpose. Question is, why?" he wasn't pulling the wool over her eyes.

Maybe the projection didn't work or maybe for once he didn't care considering he had been under his personal stresses. When he was an SF, failure wasn't an option considering failure meant death or capture now it meant living with it. Watching her set it, this wasn't the first time he had his arms in a cast and with Aura he knew she would prioritize healing thus wither away that month time line. Lifting his hand as he lowered his sleeve, picking up his jacket as he turned to the doctor; "I don't know why honestly, maybe, compound stress. Stress of the job or seeing my dead wife every time I close my eyes which you would think given my old profession I would be accustom to," pausing as he set down the jacket, " failure is something I'm not into...and given everything it feels like even we can't get a break."

The Dr listened closely to what he said. Looking up at his face she felt so much compassion. She could see the torture showing in his eyes.
"I know you have to deal with a lot of stress. I'm terribly sorry about the loss of your wife. That is a horrible thing to deal with." she walked over to the locked drug cabinet and typed in the access code. The cabinet door retracted and Dr Dailey reached inside. She carried a bottle back to where the Admiral was standing.
"I can't do much about the stress, but I CAN help with the pain of the broken hand" she held the bottle out to him. "Take one just before bed tonight. It should let you sleep. When you wake up, if the pain is a lot, take one more pill. BUT," she held up her finger "if you take one tomorrow morning you need to stay out of the CIC". Oh, and definetly NO FLYING!
She looked back up at his face "There's enough in here for about 5 days providing you are taking one in the morning and one at night. Come back and see me after 5 days and we'll get that physical done for your records. If you have no other questions, you are free to go. But, let's not be hammering walls with our other fist? Ok?" she smiled at him.

Getting up, he whispered to Aura as she appeared beside him; 'Just work on the current situation,' listening to the doctor for he was sure he could beat out her physical examination; "look forward to the rest and don't worry...think I'm good with one bad hand." Slowly walking to his Marine escort as the lights dimmed for a moment indicating that they were jumping back home but with days awake...sleep would be nice.
