Outpost Twelve
Packed in like sardines, Jonathan only memories of this was during the war when they brought down the Spartan High Command. Twenty percent survival rate but this was far different considering their worst enemy was sending everything on 4 legs to kill them. The raptor inside lights changed as they dipped below the massive interstate project with the pilot yelling back to him, they were cleared for touch and go, opening the door as they like so many others climbed out onto the wing for this which drop maneuver. Hovering only six feet over the pad, they dropped down while the rest of the raptors followed before returning to Defiance. He couldn't feel them moving as he looked around only to see monkeys in the surrounding trees as he followed Michael and Liam down some stairs into the massive CIC.
Screens everywhere with a holographic DRADIS and screens made of glass with personnel manning them and the shifter set to the one speed this thing could actually achieve. The few Marines here had tattered gear and patches to units that don't exist any longer due to the Exodus and Kobol forcing new units to rise.
Resting his arms on the butt of his rifle, he could see old teammates getting combat ready and frustrations that this man was having with Liam but it didn't matter. The bigger the unit, the more bodies to explore and the safer the others can be at nighttime considering these beasts weren't afraid of fires.

Outpost Twelve
Getting a briefing from Liam, he knew the Colonel there as well as a few officers will be joining him with a few dozen Marines who were all part of the first and second attempt. Dropping onto the pad, he turned to Tom and Tony as he connected his rifle to his vest, ordering them to the lowered pad with Marines for final departure. The last of their gear was here which was mostly small deployable UAVs with the last of the MREs which beats rations they had. Following Liam to the CIC, he pulled up his face covering to conceal his identity as Colonel Icarus argued with the General. Speaking sternly, Mike knew they couldn't be here all day; "Icarus, you'll be participating in attempt number three with members of your staff and half your Marines. This isn't a request but an order so let's get going before it gets dark," slowly walking down to the lower half. Lowering his covering as they walked through the crew quarters to the lower bay where they all sat there with the outpost coming to a stop.
Noticing Jon approaching him in urban covers with Rebecca and the Marines ready as he waited for the ramp to lower onto the forest floor. Having John, Tony, Tom and the Marines take the lead before he followed behind them. Pulling his hat out, they had a few hours till the sun went down but didn't want to stop since they were behind already. a briefing from Liam, he knew the Colonel there as well as a few officers will be joining him with a few dozen Marines who were all part of the first and second attempt. Forest Floor
Moving along the vine covered forest floor, John held onto his Tavor as he moved across the ground often reaching out before walking down the hill into the gorge. Walking across the stream, he noticed a bricks partially covered by the vines as he kneeled to see that this could've been the workings of a primitive bridge. Placing a beacon to avoid the area, the site could be evaluated by the Archeological Division setup by the Colonies before walking down the stone path with Tom and Joey doing the same around the perimeter while the Marines followed behind him. This was a small village but there was no markings to indicating tribe and without any outstanding indications could by any of the twelve. Why twelve and not thirteen? Observations have shown that the thirteenth tribe prefers mountainous regions likely due to the resources inside the mountains.
Moving on, he flipped on his rear LED light so the rear and other guys could see him as they continued amongst the trees.

.:Kobol Lance Marine:.
En route to the new forward outpost, Qataris, firmly established in a massive old settlement of ruins that Alpha had both secured and made their base. Inside the raptor was crates of ammunition for the security units and for Alpha. Noticing the pilot handing him a headset, the man removed his helmet as a hum came over the radio which meant this was a secure channel before a man spoke firmly to him:
Office of Kobol & Terra Defense. General Jack Thrax is ordering you to being in Alpha Team to the Joint Defense Base. This is an Echelon Zeta order and Marines at Qataris is to stand ready.
Echelon Zeta was the highest set of orders that anyone could receive and given what wasn't included that it was serious. The Lance Marine knew these Alphas were previously Elite soldiers so any struggle would've been deadly. Feeling the Raptor set down, the door opened as he approached one of the Alpha members with the message while others offloaded the supplies.

Receiving the message as he let his rifle hang down, Victor knew his was this was the new priority as he texted the message to the Colonel and Commander. Clearing the Raptor, he let Gabe and others climb inside as their tactical pads lit up with a message followed by a video: At 12:06 Terra local time, an explosion happened on Frondal Islands. We are still accessing the size of the explosion but it did knock out the interstellar radio so we have no idea of conditions on the ground. Under Presidential Authority, Generals are enacting the Peacekeeper Act with a new priority to access the situation on Terra and determine if this is a prelude to a Cylon or terrorist Act. Alpha is being assigned to this task...more briefings to come. The video ended with course orders as they began to strap in, noticing that this Raptor would get in flight fueling before pushed to the Atlanta with no restrictions.

Listening to the message, Michael knew that returning home was going to be tough considering the planet has gone for from civil to darkness for them most part. Even more Peacekeeper Protocol meant they would be the ground based authority. Climbing into the tight Raptor, his inner staff knew this could come in conflict with police and emergency services on Terra. Hearing the hatch close, his tactical pad came to life with Jack in ACUs with a handful of soldiers around him:
Alpha, we have forwarded a message to the Atlanta to hold till your arrival but once on the Battlestar, change into urban ACU fatigues. You'll transfer Raptors once you're in gear and have long range radios but President is ordering a unit on the ground to assess the situation. Be advised, you will be carrying anti-rads as well as gear to deal with the radiation but if this is prelude to a Cylon Attack then we will update your orders. Atlanta will forward any relevant information and will be your air support but use caution...we are still unsure of the incoming wave. Defense Forces out.
Setting his jacket aside, Michael knew the long jumps would exhaust them in the back which meant this was the best time to sleep. Though, in his head, Aura was excited and knew she would want him to explore more.
