Hiding the bullets from himself, he knew that the pilot had no frakkin idea on how to find the Independence except from guessing. Guessing meant using fuel which was also limited...so was his patience.
Stims for months. A month after she boarded the raptor, Jack came to him with a proposal. A simple proposition, an underground military organization that would be bringing peace to the chaos so he volunteered for Alpheus. Volunteer. He volunteered all his life except...shit, why can't he remember. Searching his pockets, he had no more and that terrified him cause that meant he had no control. Reaching for his med kit till he realized that he left it on Terra...he had seen people detox and now he was going to be that patient.

Medical training could only take him so far and even in the SFD drug detox was done every few years to build a resistance but he took more than usual just to numb her out. His muscles were contracting with his organs which was processing the bit of fat in his system to get some of the chemical composite but there was none which put him in more pain. Pulling off his leather jacket with his his vest, he had a black and red thermal sweater on which was dampening from the sweat. He could barely stand from the pain as he held onto the seat. The pilot jumped again, each jump had him wondering if they weren't just flying in frakkin circles which meant he was going to shoot this asshole.

Sitting in the corner, moving had caused him too much pain and he was contemplating whether or not to end it now. Numbing it all out helped but now with it all resurfacing it was overwhelming and all he could do was relive that day. He watched over and over again as she left yet he did nothing every time. Hearing the pilot mention a distress call yet he knew Battlestars rarely sent those out...pulling himself onto his feet as they jumped again yet this time he could see a planet...he remembered this place. Helios Prime, a colony that was once Terran but that was long ago and the last meeting was quite hostile. The pilot closed off the cockpit which forced him to his pack as he stuffed his jacket inside and soon finding a small stash of morphine pills as he took a few. Grabbing his hidden mags, he could feel the turbulence of entering the atmosphere as he strapped on his best with his modified G36C and connected his sniper rifle to his pack.
Strapping into his seat, he could hear the pilot ejecting as he remembered the last time he was here as the lights went off after passing through the EM clouds...he was truly terrified.
