Okay, I'm certain that I am not the only Star Trek fan on the site, and I can't believe I have taken this long to share it, but I have come across a few things that might interest my fellow Trekkies (Or, as Leonard Nimoy preferred us to be called, Trekkers). I'll start the thread off with something I discovered on Twitter last year. It is a series which has a couple familiar faces, one being Grant Imahara (guess who he plays), whom any true nerd will recognize from Mythbusters, and Chris Doohan. Yes, that Chris Doohan, the son of James, and also the new Scotty in this show. He has had bit parts in both of the new JJ Abrams ST films, but he is actually quite effective in playing his father's character. It is set directly after the last episode of the original series, intent on completing the last two years of the OG 5 year mission. I've gotta admit, even though I have only watched the first of the 3 episodes (episode 4 is in post-production right now), they have done one hell of a job with re-creating the original series' atmosphere. Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you Star Trek Continues!! www.startrekcontinues.com/Enjoy!

Next, we will explore a full-length original "fan made" movie, which happens to include Alan Ruck, Nichelle Nichols, and Walter Koenig reprising their roles. ...For anyone who doesn't remember who Alan Ruck played, he was the noob captain of Enterprise-B in the beginning sequence of Star Trek: Generations. ...Also, he was Cameron in Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Anyway, you all know who the other two are, and although this film really low-budget, it isn't half bad at all. ...Especially if you remember the original series and the backstory with the other two main guys in the flick. The movie starts with a short teaser for their new film/series pilot (which is set 10 years after the end of ST: Voyager... Yes, Admiral Chekov is 143 years old in it... No joke), Star Trek: Renegades. Renegades includes Sean Young, Corin Nemec, Robert Picardo (As the original doctor whom created the "Emergency Medical Hologram", for all of the Voyager fans), and Tim Russ, who not only reprises his role as Tuvok from Voyager, but also directed the film. It is in post-production right now. But, without further ado, Ladies and Gents, I give you Star Trek: Of Gods and Men

Lastly for today is the literal prelude to my personally most anticipated "Fan Made" ST film, which is entitled Star Trek: Axanar... This film is going to be awesome just because of the cast... 1) Richard Hatch (You all had better know...) 2) Tony Todd (Candyman!! ) 3) Kate Vernon (Again, you all had better know) 4) J.G. Hertzler (whom has a storied history within the Star Trek television universe) 5) Gary Graham (reprising his role as Soval from ST: Enterprise) So here it is, the kickass 21 minute "Prelude To Axanar"

Well, I had meant to post this a few weeks ago, but RL has been draining my cognitive functionality as of late, so I spaced it. Anyway, it was completed and put on YouTube about a month ago, and it is indeed the pilot movie for the online series Star Trek: Renegades. Enjoy!
