Rushing down the corridors, the standard lights went to a light red with all the monitors having a red display and locking down key systems forcing the users to the CIC where the Navigation Officer prepared there first series of jumps directing them towards Picon first before heading to Caprica. Pushing past the SF's, he slid his card next to the CIC before stepping into the room where Tom and his team appeared to be leaving while the Navigation Officer started the ten second countdown with the ship charging its powerful FTL core.
Reaching the table, he pulled out the key pads as he authorized nuclear launch to take out the Basestars or anything else that may be in orbit. Finally jumping away, the Icarus disappeared in a white flash with the troop transport right behind it.

Bracing for the landing, he could feel the ship being lowered onto its pontoons at the sea port. Sparks continued to rain down, bouncing off the screens on their way down but it was on a long list of concerns. Turning to a Major, his second-in-command, he wondered where the Vigilante was considering it left hours before they did for the Colonies yet they still wasn't here yet.
The Vigilante isn't the newest ship in the fleet but it was one of the more reliable ships the Terrans had built. Nearly classified as a Columbia class, the Vigilante had a longer bow section with additional engines and double decker flight pods giving it the ability to do more than the Colonial Battlestars and even the Terran frigates. Unlike the Colonials, the corridors of this ship showed the craftsmanship with wood, silver and decorative artwork alongside its various touchscreens but shared the same dull hanger deck. Equipped to launch raptors, shuttles nearly all the fighters and then some, the Vigilante has the new gauss battery system allowing it to fire more ordinances with a faster firing rate and accuracy that few ships can match.
Receiving an encoded message from the Vigilante, it appeared their single best Battlestar had been having FTL troubles but it was still on its way to Caprica.

Slipping past the new troops that the Icarus was carrying, he had to slide the door open just to get inside to see the CIC was nearly destroyed. Keeping his cool, he began ordering medics in as he heard the message come in from the Vigilante; "About frakkin time," whispering it under his breath. He didn't have to say a word to Daniel considering he would have done the same damn thing but now they had order fresh cannons from Terra which could take months to arrive and even set back plans on liberating the other Colonies. Moving to the command table, he sat down his rifle and began sifting through reports while Daniel started repairs with the DC teams.

Feeling the ship dock, Daniel knew they had just 1 week to do work that would take weeks or even a month to complete. Getting a solid connection to the Terran Networks, he began the long upload, sending millions of files some of which would be going to Atlantis while others containing a new map of Caprica City which was going to the National Archives. Stepping away from the laptop, he worked on assisting a few of the men with the update to the V.I.

From the Desk of Rear Admiral Megan Knight, Chief Bureau of Personnel To All Members, Colonial Fleet Admiralty and Commanders Effective immediately, by direct order of Admiral Deanna Middleton, Fleet Admiral, the promotion of Rear Admiral Yogi to Fleet Admiral based upon death or disappearance of aforementioned Fleet Admiral Middleton is rescinded and nullified by reason that aforementioned Fleet Admiral Middleton IS NOT MISSING NOR IS SHE DEAD.
She knows exactly where her and the bulk of the Colonial Fleet are situated. In as much as a coup is still underfoot, such action by Admiral Yogi could be construed to be an attempt to seize control of the Colonial Fleet.
Effective immediately, Admiral Yogi shall revert back to his permanent rank and maintain himself as Commanding Officer of Battlestar Atlantia until such time as killed in action, requests transfer to Retired List or is relieved of his Command. Signed this 18th day of July Deanna Middleton, CF Fleet Admiral

"All right to all of the fleet this is your Fleet Admiral Yogi speaking. As you all my have heard over the wire about me is wrong. I don't wish to hold power over you all, I just simple wish to fight for you all as your Admiral like I been fighting along with your family and friends. I believe Fleet Admiral Deanna Middleton to be dead. I last saw her at the Cylon Outpost Gamma near there home world that was April of last yahren. She was planing to nuke the outpost's and then them, once I got my orders about Alex I then few away. She was in the middle of it when I flew there. There were raiders, Basestar every where. I barely made it on-board then back out. I been trying to get a signal or whereabouts, now this comes over the wire without a peep over a yahren."
*Shaking my head*
"I say this is no quintessence don't you think, think about everything that has be happening. Cylon's knows what were up to, Ace turn's on us but still holds his rank and power in the fleet right after I sent Middleton files on him and notice of stripping his rank. Then I asked for all Colonial codes to be changed but they were not and Alex hacked in and block our every attempt. The Colonial government as be disbanded. All this adds up people, what does this all mean you say? I say it means that Deanna Middleton is herself a one of these Cylon's. That also is in line with 3 first we have Mister President Benjamen Little who is a known Cylon and next we have Mister Phineas Doral who is the WHAT? that's right his the vice President. And now it seems that Ms. Deanna Middleton is a Cylon, now I hear Benjamen Little and Phineas Doral is make there move to rebuild our government but in there image. There has been a plot against us from the beginning but now we all the recent event falling in to place and to owe it to my people I will continue to fight the good fight as your New Fleet Admiral. So Say Well All!!!"

Reading over all the messages, he knew the Colonials were having a pissing match and really didn't care considering none of them signed his pay checks even more none of them needed his help. Sending the message to the Archeron, he knew the Colonials would get fitty on who sent it then again they all were following a Cylon President who seemed to be just like the last President. Glancing through the port hole on the bridge to the new Mercury Class that the SF's were finishing, he knew if this President and this new government failed it could ignite a new war; one of which could be deadly for both sides.
Getting final approval, the Icarus pulled away from her docks as the Frigate prepared to jump back to the Colonies; ready to help in any way to ensure the Colonies would be free again.

Stepping off his raptor, Jack was greeted by his fellow Nomad brothers who were still dressed in their combat uniforms, ready to head to Tauron to do what needs to be done. Walking past crates of Centurions, the SFC had managed to steal several bodies before they were melted down; figuring one day they could use them to either study or blackmail yet they were blackmailing the Council to get their way. Jogging up to the CIC, Jack knew the Icarus had supplies to setup a camp, its standard on all SF ships encase they crash landed or had to disappear meaning landing onto the surface; these supplies they were going to use to setup a camp or even temporary base on Tauron.
Walking past Daniel, he could tell the burden of command was getting to him since he spotted a beard on the man and far from a pressed uniform though he couldn't blame him; Daniel and the Icarus survived the horrors of their last mission and no one can ever forget that. Turning to Daniel, he quickly glanced over the fuel levels which shows they had been recently refueled; "Plot a jump course to Tauron and once their prepare for landing, somewhere isolated and far from the cities...the last thing we need is prying eyes."

Hearing that Jack was onboard, he finished up his monthly report which mostly entailed their fuel records as well as fighter count to ensure that they were still in working order as well as confirmation that they got the updated star charts which would help in long range travel. Listening to Jack, he had got to know the crew and quickly dispatched the orders as the jump drive began charging while the computer plotted the jumps a whole lot faster than a human could. Issuing the orders for everyone to hold on, he knew the trip would be bumpy considering the jump drive always seemed to be a bit too big for a ship of this size and every time it felt like the ship was going to tear itself apart.

Stepping on board the Frigate, Jack ordered his men to begin armoring up and prepare for a high altitude drop onto Terra since he didn't want to put Icarus in danger if there was a Cylon fleet in orbit of Terra. Grabbing the armor, he began to change as the ships' power began to come online with the engines starting the heating up process as well as lift off with the decks opening up so the pods can be setup in the various cargo bays; changing over their higher caliber Tauron only guns over to M4's which were used quite often on Terra. Loading up onto two hundred pounds of gear for their primary and secondary weapons with spare grenades as well as food and components that have been proven in the past to be effective against the enemy. Grabbing his helmet that had blue tint which was also connected to his tactical pad thus allowing a unit of 500 men have the same effective power of 10,000 men something that couldn't be done a decade ago. Turning to Delta as he reached the CIC, he knew Tom would seek out who ever was in charge of the situation on the ground so they can work as a single unit yet he needed a starting point. Handing over a pair of coordinates, it was in fact, the location of Fort Lexington which was considered the safest spot for the SFC especially since they followed the same rules when they once lived in Mount. Vern and Jack knew dropping his force there would be a nice starting location. Patting Delta on the shoulder, he knew the Fort could shelter the Icarus in the long term to protect the ship from the enemy; starting his way to his pod for the drop.

Daniel went from business as usual to getting the ship ready for launch as he began powering up the Dradis as well as the FTL drive, knowing this ship hasn't seen a real battle in months and now they were going to be thrown into a possible war. Ordering all external doors to be shut and at least a squadron of Vipers to be on board, the solar generators had been slid off of the top of the ship while the Tylium generators started up to take over the power restraints as the ship lifted up off of the desert floor with Jack entering the CIC. The cool air began to flow as he put back on his jacket as Jack handed him some coordinates before walking away, turning to his navigation officer for he knew the Icarus didn't have Terran maps on hand; "Once we reach Terra, connect with the satellite grid and we'll head to the Fort from there."
The ship had already lifted off the ground and began flying into space, suddenly jumping away as they left a sand cloud where they used to be.

Feeling the tail assembly shaking apart, Ace spotted a ship in the atmosphere which didn't both him as he lowed his landing skids as he lined up for a landing; sliding across the deck till his wing hit the side of the wall. Feeling the lift being lowered down, he undid his straps as he looked up to see SF's pointing their rifles at his raptor; raising his hands as he unlocked the hatch, knowing his crappy day just got worst. Hearing the SF's rushed in, he kept his hands up as the men pulled him out of his seat and soon handcuffed him as they dragged him out of the raptor and soon called the Commander of the ship down as they placed Ace onto the deck.

Walking down from the CIC, Daniel ran down to the hanger deck till he noticed the SF's surrounding Alex who right now was responsible for so much of this war yet he could feel there was something different. Ordering the men to lift the prisoner up, he walked up to him to see not a Cylon but a broken man; "Take him to the brig and see about getting Alice Carver on board, we're dealing with a broken person not a ruthless Cylon," knowing it could take something long lasting to destroy a person after all Ace was a special case since they were the same model just one has been through more than the other.

Watching while the SF's bolted a chair to the deck inside the cell before dragging him over to it, handcuffing him to the chair as the SF's pulled out the new taser rifles. SF taser rifles are capable of bringing down down a Centurion and can even bring down a skinjob. Soon a pair of soldiers stood in the cell with Ace, closing the door with everyone else outside with taser rifles at the ready; ensuring no matter what he wasn't going to leave the cell.
