Simply dubbed Icarus, this new Frigate started its life as a Colonial Frigate but was soon bought out by a Terran shell company for 6.5 billion cubits and transferred to Terra by the Special Forces Corps. Dubbed Icarus Project, the Icaris, began a long list of rebuilds starting with the hull which was refitted with an armor composed of nanotubing of trititanium and liquid crystals for strength. Afterwards, Gondawa engineers came onboard to strip the interior and soon gave it a new and improved Gondawa FTL which gave this little frigate the capability to make longer and faster jumps not to mention use less power but on top of that also cooled it so the interior isn't effected by the heat that would come off of it. Refitting new engines to give it faster space and atmospheric flight, the Icarus has the ability to go to the fight where ever it is and no matter who its against. Also applying launch tubes, only to one side of the ship, the Icarus has the capability to launch not just Vipers but also the SF's famed Interceptors and even Raptors with the new additions of troop transports. Equipped with the most advance computer the Gondawans could build, the SF's borrowed pages from both the Battlestar Cerberus and Alex's own playbook; the Gondawans built the first Terran AI to aid not just the crew but run cyber-warfare sweets against the enemy. Even more, the ship is interconnected, allowing a solid connection no matter where it and its troops are and able to rely information a lot clearer. The Interior contains a single hanger bay able to hold 4 Viper squadrons, 4 SF Interceptor Squadrons, 4 raptors and 2 troop transports with a cargo hold able to hold 3 years worth of food, supplies and parts for the fighters and 2 spare Vipers/raptors. Unlike Colonial interiors, the Icarus has monitors and plug in sites everywhere and has bulkheads able to withstand abuse from Cylons and explosive decompression's. The Bridge, crew quarters, barracks, mess hall and even armories are still being built along with the controversial biological weapons lab. With the ship still under major construction, the ship is armed with the latest in Gauss cannons and retractable missile batteries not to mention AA point fire guns; giving it fire power that not even the Venture or any ship its size can match. Located under heavy guard by the Terran SF's, the Icarus is due for launch in the coming weeks; making it the most important ship in SF hands if not all of Terra.

CorridorBuilt specifically for the SF constant use of information, hidden compartments are built in to allow for mobile armories or even more to store equipment; however, the thin corridors limit foot traffic making the frigate a liability if the enemy was to ever board. CICBuilt to model the popular CIC style, most stations can be remotely accessed or manned elsewhere giving the ship greater mobility even more is just a symbol considering the ship can be manned elsewhere. Primary weapons control, Navigation and helm is located here and can't be accessed elsewhere without an Alpha Level of Authorization. EngineeringThe heart of the ship, the Engineering houses the most advance Gondawa FTL with engines and generators unseen till now. Engineering is reinforced and can be used as a backup CIC during combat or if the primary CIC is destroyed even more Engineering is the only direct access to the computer core. Primary Hanger BayUnlike other hanger bay's, the Icarus is one of a kind able to house any fighter that comes onboard and has direct access to the fuel reserves for quick refueling. Able to house a second floor of fighters, the launch tubes are considerably smaller than those on a Battlestar allowing a new kind of launch to be possible thanks to the evolution in Gauss warfare.

Rushing onboard, the base personnel began to evacuate as the ship came to life with the engines and soon the FTL starting up. Securing the airlock, he wasted no time to get to the CIC as his pilot took over the helm and prepared the FTL via tactical pad; firing up the thrusters as the ship hovered in its little dock. Finally jumping, the base was torn apart instantly with personnel able to get away; reemerging in orbit and under its own power.

Connecting the advance Dradis and Communications arrays, he stood at the table with his laptop as he worked on linking these systems with the towers and even the wireless network throughout the ship. He had done a lot of this before but never like this with all the protocols and working with technology that even he couldn't believe is really Terran but maybe something a bit more foreign. Understanding why the Terran SF's hid this technology from their own people, if his people had taken the time to look over it on how quickly the Terrans advanced their technology then Terra would have been in danger years ago. Finally connecting it to the other screens, he noticed he could remotely connect to the entire astrolab network; extending their Dradis to hundreds of lightyears even allowing them to connect to Colonial Dradis.

Noticing Daniel had most of the mission critical systems up, he finished up a note as he handed it over to him; "Send this out to all SF's, Marines even to any engineers that want to tag along. The Icarus will be leaving Terran space for the Colonies, I want 10,000 SF's shipped onboard, 5,000 Marines and 1,000 engineers onboard before the end of the day. We need all of our food stores to be loaded, fueled and receive all of our munitions as well not to mention our supplied aircraft before everyone is onboard," noticing Jack sending it out as he felt the air start to cool, "I know we're stocking the ship to the brim but it won't be for too long also run calculations on how we can get past the Cylon fleet in orbit of Caprica."

Setting up next to the mic, Sergeant Brock spoke softly as he held onto his tablet; "This is the official statement released not just by the Marine Corps but by the Special Forces. Sometime ago, a bloody coup started with the Nationalist party taking the lead resulting in more than half of all Terran Marines joining them and slowly starting to wipe out the SF ranks. 2 days ago during the retake of Corinth, Cylon raiders detonated an estimated 20 kiloton warhead over Corinth resulting in the destruction of the Frigate Venture; casualties are still coming in and its estimated over 2/3's of the cities population is dead. As for the rumors of Atlantis, the SF's would like to remind everyone that Atlantis doesn't exist and the bulk of the Nationalist were held up in the city of Atlanti here in Gondawa territory. The rumors are just that and if there was proof of Atlantis it would have revealed itself a long time ago. As for Sparta, we can confirm that the city population is dead and that it is on lockdown by the Cylon force as for any retake has to be planned and shall be executed in coming time. We can confirm the city of Alpheus, it still under rogue Marine control and has Nationalist in charge, at least for now the issue has been contained and until further notice any plans for recapture are deemed classified. Thank you for coming and hope to bring peace back to Terra."

Boarding the ship, Jack had his armor in one case with his duffle bag in his hands as he boarded the ship with other SF's; taking his stuff to the armory. Setting it aside in one of the many compartments, he started his way to the bridge as he received word that Rebecca was also onboard and been promoted due to her fighting in the Gondawan T'Dal Church which resulted in ten thousand Marine deaths. Sticking his hands into his jacket pockets, he approached the CIC as he started down; "General, the Marines and SF's you've requested will be onboard in less than three hours but on top of that; I've requested a transfer of ten thousand cannons that will be assembled once we get to Caprica."

Already ordering her equipment onboard, Rebecca was dressed for war as she held onto his sniper rifle that she had been given my Gondawa Marines; stepping into the CIC. Walking on down, she set her sunglasses aside before reporting in; "Fuel and munitions should be onboard by then and I managed to get us some pilots as for Caprica, its guarded by a fleet but if we jump low then we can have Icarus fly over Caprica City while landing troops."

Sergeant Brock picked up a new report passed on from his SF counterpart before calling the reporters back; "A short time ago, an SF and TCIA recon drone flew over Sparta to confirm suspecions that the Cylons have 15 to 20 high kiloton nuclear warheads. With this confirmation, SF Command is placing Sparta into TCIA hands and is holding off on a counter attack at least till they can determine the origins and even more if they can be disarmed safely. However, the TCIA has found who has orchastrated this attack, Former Sec. of Defense Alex Phoenix, even more they've found he had been quietly funding disgruntle Marines who were responsible for the Presidents security. Through assets in the Ha'La Tha crime sydicate, Alex had been building his Centurions on Terra very quietly in preperation for this attack, with a joint task force we've shutdown all these factories but we were too late. We do know of the skin job in charge of Sparta simply known as Marcus, we do know he is a model 7 and one of Alex's top lieutenants. We do apologize for the lateness of this information and we will not be taking questions."

Receiving reports as he looked over his officer as he noticed their resident Picon had decided to tag along before turning to his pilot, "Begin plotting jumps to Caprica," turning to his officers, he was relived to see them since they would be writing Terra's chapter into the Colonies, "thanks for the advice, Captain, the idea is to secure Caprica City within hours instead of days. Once the docks are secure, we'll land and begin deploying our forces; knowing Cylons they'll want to attack and well we'll show them they should fear us," grinning as he brought up a hologram of a pod, "we'll launch anti radiation pod into the upper atmosphere that should allow us to breath fresh oxygen without injecting anti rad meds of course it is experimental."
Keeping it up as the ship pulled away from the fleet, Ramsey braced while the ship jumped; knowing it'd take a while till they get to Caprica but for him this would be his first time away from Terra.

Standing in the hanger deck, Ramsey was in his fatigues listening to the radio from officers in the TCIA concerning the operations on Picon. He had called for Jack concerning a special assignment, he had more than enough troops to hold Caprica City for the reconstruction, even more he needed to remind these Nomads that he wasn't the enemy. Greeting Jack, he looked over the Captain as he spoke softly; "Captain, I've got a mission for you and you'll be working with your brother. Colonel Thrax is with a Nomad platoon on Picon and from what we know he's attempting to setup an FOB in Picon's capital city of Queenstown. You'll be taking several squads and reinforce the FOB, take whatever you need but take the next gen armor, mobility is key and well son that armor is too bulky for this mission. Also take some armor for the Nomads, you leave in an hour."
Watching the man nod, Ramsey started to the hatch to spy on Daniel after all now with the city protected, things were becoming relaxed.

Listening carefully to the General, he nodded before making his way to the locker room to get out of his armor. Ordering his men back to the ship, he swiped his card at the hatch before walking in, hanging the armor in the specially designed locker. Taking a much needed shower, he began dressing in his standard fatigues before opening a crate that contained the lighter armor, slipping on the thin jump suit before slipping on the various plates. Looking around most of his squad was suiting up as well, keeping his gloves last before slipping on the helmet; strapping on his holsters with all the little attachments. Placing his pack forward to allow his oxygen canisters and parachute to sit on his back. Grabbing his G-36 from one of his men, he started his way to one of the three waiting raptors. Assisting with the loading of the automated mule which would carry several hundreds of pounds of bullets along with explosives and most importantly the spare armor, securing parachutes to the mule as well as assigning an officer to care for it. Holding on, the pilots lifted the overweight combat raptors off the deck and began their short flight to Picon.

Spotting Ramsey walking down from the upper core as he finished work on the new Virtual Intelligence meant for the robots due to come in the 48 hours, "Cyclon Industries Cargo ship has sent a message that they have entered the Colonies and," pausing as he reviewed the logs, "Captain Black has yet to report in not to mention no one has reported seeing her for 6 hours."

Daniel's morning was going much like every other morning, he had spent all night updating the software for the satellites so they could spend clearer messages back home yet even through the upgrades it seemed not to be helping now he knew why. Starting up all the defensive systems as well as the engines, he called back the Marines who were just inside the airlocks firing back with sniper rifles; firing the thrusters to begin lifting out of the water. Moving aside from the pilot as he pulled out the star charts, "Once we get 10,000 feet prepare to jump also secure all hatches!"
The ship began taking off as a few Vipers and raptors began landing since they were for the most part defending the ship till this point. Jumping, the shockwave tore apart a squadron of raiders also dropped off a long range Dradis scanner which was due to drop back into the ocean.

After convincing the Marines to allow them to board, they stepped onboard the proud frigate which was a whole lot different then the Venture but it had held the reputation that frigates were much more useful then Battlestars. Instantly his tactical pad connected with the ship's V.I which uploaded not just the map of the ship but also all known maps for the Colonies as well as all the radio channels which could be useful for their mission. Moving aside while the crew moved massive bits of supplies through the tight corridors, they began following behind them till they made it to the CIC where officers were going through final checks with the fuel meter rising as the Primary and even secondary tanks began to fill with fresh high octane fuel for the long trip. Standing at the top, they checked in with the Drop Officer which had narrowed down the drop location and assigned them pods for their mission as well as new self destructs to ensure their tech doesn't fall into Cylons hands.
Marking down their assigned numbers, they got a short view of the newest of Terran Carriers which probably won't be finished for a while yet it was already being hailed as the longest ship ever created yet once its finished it will probably be assisting the Colonials with minor disputes in the Colonies. Starting back into the cramp corridors, they started down to the hanger deck which was being filled with fighters as well as tanks to aid in the ground combat on Caprica.
