*Walking along with Reaper and his team, watching Thrax and his men setting up. Just as my radio goes off.* "Admiral sir were nearing Terra now, Eta to the city limits 10 centon's. Atlantia out" *Reaching up rubbing my chin* "Good this is good news, with cotters ship in the air and now the Atlantia we can cover more ground with greater fire power. The Cylon's down stand a chance."

he had just hooked him self to the edge of the building when Sams voice cam over his head set. "copy sam lets meet up at the gardens inform the pilots to stay grounded we are footing it there now" and with that him and his unit jumped by rope to the ground and bounded off toward the out post. Sam took a few minutes to grab the rest of her gear after she heard from Reaper. She looked over at the pilot and the two marines; "Alright, do as the Colonel said and stay grounded. Defend this position and radio if you have any sight of enemy contact," She said, slinging the rifle across her shoulders. "You, come with me." With that, Sam and one of the marines started for the command checkpoint. They made their way around overturned cars and rubble, she wondered what happened, and why the city had been abandoned in the first place. Sam kept a close watch as they picked up the pace and started into a steady jog, a voice came in over their radios and she smiled, glad to know that Michael was still out there. She hoped for the same with the rest of his team. Finally coming to a stop, the woman took a minute to catch her breath. Hazel eyes scanned the gardens until she located the XO, who was now joined by their Commander. "Sirs," She brought a hand up for a quick salute as she approached Reaper and Yogi, the marine did as well. "No signs of the enemy on our way over. Just let me know where you need me."

*Cocking my head as I watch Sam and her team joining us*
"Welcome to the party, well if I know anything these people must of left to head for Corinth. Cotter must have that city under Martial Law, I should do the same here as well. Now Thrax get over her I need your Intel you have on this city. Split the city up and show me the weak area's and the defensive Area's. Once the army gets here I need sniper's in the highest build but not on the roof. I want them back out of sight, next raid the local gun shops for ammo. We need a supply depot with easy access, I need acouple of men find a van the raid all the cleaners around here. I want this city locked up tight as Corinth City"
*Reaching up grasping the radio's wire connecting the back up to the internal mic.*
"Scan for Odin Cotter's Freq. Good day Cotter this is Rear Admiral Yogi speaking. I am down here on Terra with joining the fight. I have joined up with some of my men in Darous City, was wondering whats the ETA on your men. Oh General by any chance have you had a chance to check in on my wife?"

Tapping his radio, Thrax didnt have any plans on moving as his men began launching UAV`s to get an ETA on the Cylons; "This is Thrax and I can give you a sit rep from here...the city is built like a fortress so the only real weak spot will come from the air. Darous Naval Intelligence Office is the last fall back point and can with stand glassing from the orbital strike satellite. No civilian population not to mention this city has been abandoned for the better part of a century. Under Naval Intelligence there is a cache of vehicles but the armory is empty may go same for civilian stores. Cylon forces are 20 hours out which means me and my guys will put out a defense that we`ve been working on...oh and the spaceport is clear. Tango out," flipping the radio off as the men reported that the Cylons are picking up their pace something he should`ve reported but felt as if it didnt needed to be included.

Setting up the AA guns around the old airfield and airport, Jackel watched while the Marines setup a command outpost while at the same time directing drop ships where to land to begin offloading. Ordering a small squad to open up one of the 2 massive hangers, Thomas picked up his radio as men began offloading a drop ship filled with ammunition; "This is Team Bravo to all units, spaceport secure and currently have ammunition offloading here...we'll be storing it as well as distributing it. Distribution orders are on channel six and we'll get to you as soon as we can, Bravo out."
Setting his M-25 down, he began to assist with the offload while entire companies began their way out of the spaceport and into the city to secure it for the battle ahead.

Landing on top of the Darous Naval Building, Rebecca and her 3 squads rushed into the city as the raptors lifted off to head for the spaceport. Flipping on their lights, they noticed that on the buildings 3 corners sat an automated AA gun with glass ready to drop so they can fire. Most of the offices were cleaned out but a few had the first glass screens where information was projected onto it for quick access. A glass waterfall ran down the middle with a massive elevator that seemed to carry not just personnel but also equipment and even a raptor if it could get inside. Giving the controls a bit of power, they rode it down but it seemed to stop a bit short of the lobby as they approached a room that had an interactive map of the city.
Noticing that sections of the city still didn't have power, Rebecca picked up a note that simply told her to activate one of the screens. Following the instructions, an automated message nearly 100 years old began to play; "If your seeing this then Darous had lost the war and this building is probably the only one that went untouched. We knew we were in a losing war but then again some things are worth fighting which I'm sure you know about. Darous was once the pearl of Terra hopefully she will be again. Our technology might look old but we've got a cache of weapons in the basement for you and this building alone has the power to turn the tide in any war. Remember Darous and you shall remember true freedom..."
Noticing the message ending, she peered over the computer as she opened up a message to Mason and Thrax; "Team Charlie is in the Darous Naval Building and I have something to interesting to report. The building has a submerged wall that is about 10 feet tall with more AA guns in here then we could drop in the city but even more, I found the command codes to silos located in the garden, city park and airfield. Along with that, automated AA guns have been placed around the city some 100 years ago and I can get them online...when they said Darous was built like a fortress they weren't lying, Charlie out."

Turning to his men as he spotted a tin head in his scopes, he knew it was time to isolate the city from the mainland considering the city was much like a man made island. Watching while the sergeant pulled out a detonator as massive explosions could be heard in the distance as all 9 bridges up to this one exploded forcing only a single route.
Firing the first shot, Thrax hit the Centurion almost 2000 yards away as the rest of the snipers began firing but at the same time they began receiving fire from not just the Centurion snipers but from the raiders overhead.

"20 sounds like a good number" he looked up at the raptors that where burning into atmo. "looks like the second advance team is here. sir air superiority is ours now, lets see what they throw at us.

Approaching the garden Command Center, the sergeant carried an M-25 as he saluted them all before giving them the news; "Received news from Corinth, Terran Intelligence was just wiped out by a Computer Virus that has crippled their network and resulted in the death of over 500 personnel. The survivors will be headed here but also AA guns to the southern section of the city are offline probably from just pure age which means that's a gap open," pausing as he set down his tactical pad, "the advance scouts were off by 10 hours. The main Cylon force is at the southern gate and their back up forces are only hours behind them."
Turning to Reaper and Sam as the sergeant spoke softly, "The Cylons brought enough from the south to take out Corinth and we can stop them here...I say Thrax made the right call in coming here."

Ordering the raiders to begin chopping down the Terran advance line, the Centurions began running as a unit as they approached within 1000 meters. Firing at the same time, a wall of bullets hammered into the humvees as they set down a small beach head. Killing the retreating Terrans, they knew they could easily pass through this city at this rate.

Climbing out of his humvee as the Cylons tore through the armor as his men retreated to the buildings on the other end of the bridge but not all of them made it there. Loading up a fresh clip, he started his way across as he fired back on the Cylons till he made it to the other side where he ran through the cleaned out path where his men had setup at. Grabbing a fresh bandage, Michael wrapped up his arm where a bullet had barely missed him but opened him up to infection. Setting his rifle down on the burned out car, he took aim while his men prepared the fuel to be dropped down on the Centurions as they began marching their way.
Kneeling down, he tapped his radio while the Centurions began marching before ordering the fuel to be dropped down on them as he prepared a magnesium round to ignite it. Firing just as the fuel drizzled off of the Centurions, he watched while they burned before his men began firing on other Centurions that began marching toward their burning brothers.

*Soldiers march into Darous City in uniform lines with heavy tanks bring up the rear. Heading down east street onto south, the tanks move to the front. Turning into the intersection rotating the gun mount, two tank mount turning into the Centurions on fire as they march on. Each gun aimed at the center mass of the Centurion's, Loading Smart-156 round's in the barrels as they fire spinning out the barrel's, arching through the air into the crowd of fiery death.
Mid-flight a timer fuse ignites a small ejector rocket in the nose, which drags the two sub-munitions out of the shell casing. Once free of the shell the nose cone falls away, the sub-munitions deploy parachutes spiraling like a corkscrew's slowly spreading about the Centurion army. Creating 4 explosively formed projectile's into one huge explosion bring down two tall adjacent building's.
Toppling the building's caving in on top of them mashing metal into the street. Filling south street in rubble 30 foot high as the dust being to settle driving back the Cylon force. The tanks move into defensive spot's around the city, soldiers taking up building and street corners. The leading Colonel and his squad join's Admiral Yogi at the command center.*
"Reporting in Sir, I am Colonel Alvin Kibbey but you can call me Breaker. Looks like we arrived just in time. General Cotter says Hi by the way"

*Moving about the command center going over maps, looking up hear the faint sound of metal marching this way. Cocking my head up in time to bare witness to the the slaughter of good men. Heading on out the tent moving down the street to where the injured are. Looking up to a ship dumping fuel over the chrome domes, whipping my head over just as Thrax fires a round setting them a blaze. Watching the metal men marching on though on fire, the ground starts to shake. The sound getting louder as bullets the fly by, stand there as two tanks roll in. Watch them take aim and firing two round unlike anything I have seen. Two explosion go off as build topple with a cloud of dust.* "Helmet on"*Emerging from the suit forming up over my head sealing just below my throat. Picking up a troop of men walking towards me with my HUD. Picking up there IFF patches, my HUD then picks up a unknown. Twisting around reaching back grasping the Knightingale, pulling the rifle over my shoulder. Hunching down kicking my right leg out holding out the rifle releasing the mono pod leg. Reach over starting up the gyroscopic stabilizer, taking aim squeezing the trigger. Sending the round down the barrel exploding out spiraling through the air. Slicing through the air whizzing through the open command tent by a soldiers head. Ending up 4,000 metron's away through the Cylons scope blowing out the back of his head. Standing up folding up the leg holding the rifle in my right hand, turning back as the dust clears* "Helmet off"*Splitting from below my throat retracting back around my head behind my neck. Hearing the Colonel approach, placing the rifle back over my shoulder to my back.* "Reporting in Sir, I am Colonel Alvin Kibbey but you can call me Breaker. Looks like we arrived just in time. General Cotter says Hi by the way" "Glad your guy's arrived, your men can set up near the tent or inside the garden center."

Hearing chatter from his men in the buildings while watching the Cylons setup a semi circular line as their lines became a bit thicker as they tried to hide something. Whispering over the radio, he needed to know what they were covering as he switched over to his M-25 as a clear message came through from his men; "It's a frakkin bomb...get moving now!!!"
Spotting his men leaving their positions, he knew it was too late to do anything as the Cylons detonated their 10 ton bomb; pushing Yogi down as he took cover with him. The bomb killed the Centurions around it but destroyed the buildings his men were using, sending bricks everywhere with metal chunks everywhere. The explosion even sent out a small EMP pulse which shorted out their radios but kept their tactical pads online as he got up with brick dust all over him.
Yelling out to his men, he pulled the earpiece out of his radio as they reported back; noticing another regiment of Cylons headed their way but startled over the number of only 30 of his 500 men survived that explosion. Turning to Yogi as he loaded up a fresh round, "470 men dead, all Terrans, suggest you keep a defensive line here," ordering his men to take a southwestern route while he picked up a bag of explosives from a Lieutenant, "me and my men have to get revenge for a loss like that," following his men as they ran through the smoke and past the Cylons as they headed for an inhabited section of the city.
