As Admiral Courtney Vega, CF (NPC) Sitting in her office, Fleet Admiral Vega was steadily reading the status reports coming on from all over the planet and the system. It was obvious this was no missile strike but how the hell the nuke went undetected was beyond her.

Commander frank admiral reporting for duty sir Looking up from her desk Jasline was swamped but she dropped what she was working on and smiled "Welcome Commander! We are very very busy here but I'm sure your presence will be appreciated!" She stood up from behind her desk and extended her hand in a friendly handshake. Motioning toward the leather chair at the side of the room "Please take a seat and I will announce you, Sir" She knocked on the Fleet Admiral's door and entered when summoned. "I have Commander Frank Admiral waiting in the other room and he is reporting for duty" Jasline returned to the outer office and smiled once more at him. "The Admiral will see you now. Please go on in"

It was obvious this was no missile strike but how the hell the nuke went undetected was beyond her. Looking up at the sound of a voice, Courtney removed her glasses and looked at the figure standing before her. She recognized the face but couldn't recall from where. Standing up, she straightened her uniform. Stepping from around the desk, she extended her right hand and shook the officer's hand. "Please Commander, sit down. All hell has broken loose and nobody seems to know how. You may have heard, a nuke was detonated on the Frondal islands down south, massive destruction and so many lives lost. We're still trying to figure out how it happened but we do know a missile did not make it through our defenses." She stepped back to her chair and sat down, entering some info into her computer. "I see your a Battlestar Commander, or were until your ship went into the yard for repairs some years ago and they sent your crew all over the place, mostly to the Independence. Fleet Personnel had originally sent you to be the XO over there but it looks like everything got screwed up. So, for the time being, I could use you here, as Chief of Operations. Up to the job Commander?"

Nudging through the rioters, the police eventually escorted him through as his Marine escort remained outside. The lobby once vibrant now filled with officers is now filled with crates and Corinth Army personnel for protection. The marble walls with the blue veins only for the carbon scoring against the wall and the wooden floor scuffed with scratches deep enough to make the wax useless. Pulling off his mask, he placed it on the table with his M4A1 and pistol before the Army Sergeant opened the wooden door. Missing the name on the door, Michael took a seat in the plush leather chair as he pulled up his leg only to turn his attention to the other Admiral. Surprised by the Vice Admiral, he knew him from the war, in fact, he arrested him after her turned against the SFD. It seems like kissing ass has its benefits as he crossed his legs; "I know about Titan and the dirty frakkin decision that was made to put me on that museum of a ship."

Stepping in, Brooks had a small chuckle as he walked past Michael only to sit in front of him; "You may know about the Titan but die is cast. Titan will sit in view while you can live the rest of your bloody life on the Independence," laughing a bit as he sat back in his chair. The nuke did one thing for Brooks and that was to bring back the old hardliners who had been against Colonial expansion. If those Colonials never found them then maybe none of this would've never happened. Maybe some of them were right, turning to Michael as he turned on privacy mode; "Winters is back and he's got a bone to pick with you."

How could Harperson be back? He watched the Picon officer killed him unless it was a body double but he wasn't going to take this crap from the Vice Admiral. They guy is spineless and with the Army in this office meant he was trying to hold on as long as possible where he knew what was coming. Getting up only to lean inward, knowing at this point only 2 people could really counter what was to come; "I'm taking the Titan and Independence will remain in its place," reaching over as he pulled the rectangle cartage from the table to place in his vest, "we both know that the Terran Council will vote on Articles of War against the Cylons soon. They military will start recruiting and they bill will be with her soon so I need a ship that can rival the Predator."
"That will be an Act of Treason, Mr. Martin!"
Until he had evidence of Harperson, the man was a ghost even a myth of a bygone era when they used super soldiers for war instead now they are actually useful on Kobol; "Arrest me or kill me...decision is yours but doing either means we could lose," seeing the man slump in his chair for he knew Michael was right as he walked out of the office

"Excellent! I knew we could count on you Frank" the Admiral heard a lot of commotion as the outer room secretary buzzed her intercom. "Let me see what this is about before we find you a billing".

Phones are ringing off the hook in the outer office. Jennetta is frantically trying to keep up. She took a call and knew immediately it was of the utmost importance. Didn't matter who was in the office with the Admiral right now, she needed to be apprised of the current situation so Jennetta rang the Admiral's intercom buzzer.
"Admiral, the Power Plant has just been hit. Electricity is off on the mainframe. Our generators have kicked in here for the time being. All avaialable personnel are being directed to the President's Office Building. Seems it was hit the hardest and they are calling for all available troops to assist there".

As Admiral Courtney Vega, CF (NPC) I'll help in anyway you need me to command The Admiral listens as the Secretary brings her up to speed. She looks at Frank Admiral who is waiting to be assigned somewhere to be of help. "I believe you can do the most good by going to the Municipal Building and help out over there. Not sure where exactly President McPherson is at the moment, but you need to find her. That is how you can help the most right now. I'm sorry I don't have a more permanent solution yet, but I will find you a good post." Courtney knew this was below his pay grade to do but right now she was in desperate need of someone to take over and organize things at the Municipal Building. "Find the President, help out with organizing personnel over there . That is where I need you for now. Dismissed"
