With the vipers coming in to land on the airfield to refuel, Sam finished up patching up and checking on her men before taking a seat. Ripping away her sleeve, she wrapped her arm up only to stop the bleeding for them to finish, and then began to head back in the direction of the vipers. Her eyes scanned each ship, searching for the CAG. When she came to one of the hangars, the Colonel was quick to pull out her sidearm and aim it forward when she saw that it wasn't Lieutenant Jansen, but Alex instead.
She had no idea why he would've been there, and flying an Independence viper for that matter, but she was in no mood to be shot at again or anything else that he might have planned. "I will give you a chance to explain this before I shoot. What the frak are you doing here?" The longer she watched him, the angrier she became, remembering things he had done, torturous things to even her.

Listening to Michael's orders, the group of Marines that were assigned to protect the remaining Council members had to now separate one of the Councilors and move him to the airfield. Calling over a Jeep, the Marines loaded up Dalton before starting the short drive to the airfield; pulling up to the hanger to let the man out before taking up positions around the hanger till Michael ordered them to leave. Setting his combat gear aside, Michael had a bit of time to relax and pull the bullet out of his arm but now he had to get answers from a guy he met only once without being overaggressive; setting his holsters onto the tool box but pulled out his taser. Watching as the Marines took station, he allowed Dalton to take a seat while he secretly set his tactical pad to a listening device as he pulled up a chair; "One thing that keeps coming to mind is why. Why would General Harperson betray Terra? Why use the SFC? Why did the council allow them to go to Tauron and Caprica to start with? The Colonials are our allies we can send Gondawans over to rebuild we don't need to send our most advance fighting force over to ensure there is justice."

Raising his hands once more, he was really getting tired of people pointing their weapons at him but he couldn't understand why; "Don't know how to explain anything considering I've only been awake for 2 days now, Daniel can explain more but I've in a coma. The last thing I remember is Brook leaving, SF's denying access to my son and getting drunk and well crashing my Viper on the Atlantia," pausing as he saw Brook beside him, "I don't know what to say other than that after all the Admiral ordered me to assist."

Taking a seat, he knew Michael had a taser but at the same time the man couldn't use it on him since he could tear down the man to his bones but knew everything Harperson had done was suitable; "The General didn't betray Terra but Terra betrayed him. We Gondawans are dying and well he what I would've done, get the damn cure no matter what and well having the Colonials as allies wasn't the best of decisions," pausing, "the Colonials brought an enemy to Terra that we don't fully understand and now we're fighting for control. We would've made a deal with god if it meant a cure. The SFC is a frakkin tool, shit, tools of war or peace whatever we need you for. You think the Council didn't know about the history, the SFC started the war with the Gondawans, started the war with Spartans both times and well the SFC was always meant to bring down invaders just not the Cylons. Your the Council's hidden hand, if we need someone dead or something out of the way then the SFC will do it and well we all agreed that you couldn't do that shit not even your father could do it." Laughing, Dalton didn't can about the question as he got up from the chair; "Caprica is just a rock which we made green again and well the Taurons are dirt eaters! They'll fight anything just for scraps of meat and you know what, they are so low they shouldn't even be allowed to step on Terra but now they're here and well once we get done Tauron will be Terra. The Colonies of Kobol are a frakkin joke! God gave us the power to take that land and well its ours now and I hate to tell you, son, the General knows your coming for them and well you might as well just forget about them. The Cylons are our allies not these frakkin Colonies! Frak them and frak you!"

Watching the man go from calm to serious, he knew this wasn't just another conspiracy but he got to see the true side of Councilor and he knew the man wasn't crazy but showing the truth of the SFC and the Council. Walking over to the tactical pad, he hit stop on the recorder before turning to Dalton who suddenly realized it was all recorded which meant he could use it in a court of law; calling over the Marines as he pulled out zip ties. Placing them on Dalton, Michael whispered to him as he tightened the restraints; "My mother and father hated politicians like you and hated the SFC as well and now I understand why but no one can save you from the hole the Judges will be sending you to."
Pushing him over to the Marines as he grabbed his gear, "Take him away, he is a prisoner and has no rights so put him in a cell till all the fighting is over with," starting his walk to Sam as he noticed a note from Daniel on his tactical pad, 'Alex's mind has been wiped and changed, do not reveal his past actions, see you soon for a debriefing'. Handing the pad over to Sam as he put his hand on the top of her gun to lower it down, "Sorry Alex, its been a rough day," clipping his rifle to the front of his vest as he pulled off his SF tag, "I've been fighting for the wrong cause and everyone else who calls themselves an SF."
Tapping his radio, he sent a message to the SF's to meet up at the airfield for he knew the SF's didn't stand for Justice but for the bottom line whether it was a cure or changing allies but it wasn't a static objective. For a long time, he knew the SFC was bad shit he had Jonathan's tactical pad that said that the SFC was bad yet he just didn't want to believe it was the entire corps and not just a single person turning it bad; he should've acted on Jonathan's instinct and now he's paying for it.

Michael's words to Alex, his apology, angered Sam and for a moment, she could only stare at the both of them with narrowed eyes until she was handed a tactical pad. What she read made her blood boil even more, let alone the fact that he claimed to be under the Admiral's orders. After everything that had happened, she couldn't believe he was simply allowed to walk freely among them. As the XO, it infuriated her that yet again something had been kept from her. It was her job to know. Rolling her eyes, she shoved her sidearm back into the holster. "I am sick of being kept in the dark about this frakking shit."
With that, she tossed the tactical pad back to Michael and strode out of the hangar, in search of the CAG.

Stepping onto the airfield, they got there after all the fighting and it appeared just in time to see Dalton getting hauled away; a man he knew was dirty for quite a long time. Noticing Michael's SF tags were on the ground, Jonathan kneeled down as he picked up the tags before allowing the wind to take them away; "I'm sorry, brother, we both knew the SFC was dirty just didn't think they'd be getting in bed with the devil," tossing his SF tags into the wind, something he had kept as a memento. It had been a long day, the clouds were setting and the sun had turned golden with the red glow in the distance were the burning Basestar was yet he knew much like Michael they needed to regroup and decide what they are now. SF tags are no more, burned by Terra by a traitorous General as well as an equally traitorous council.
Setting his rifles down onto one of the crates, he could hear more SF's in the distance as he unzipped his vest before turning to Michael; "So you got a plan or what? Doesn't matter to me, I haven't been an SF for a while and well we've got to ease tensions with our allies."

Tom heard Michael's conversation with Dalton, a man who was the representative for the SFC in the Council, hearing right away that he and other Gondawans would rather work with the Devil then do what the SFC was meant to do which was to protect Terra. Taking a deep breath, he too pulled the SF tag off of his jacket and vest, not knowing what to do now but knew whatever was going to happen that the SFC was going to fall first here on Terra then at the Colonies. Setting his rifle down next to some munition crates, he watched Daniel walk off the Icarus as the ship continued to smoke but less and less; knowing that Daniel had already torn down the SF flags and symbols, burning them in a small fire close by. Noticing Samuel and Victor walking over to Jonathan, he started his walk over to Michael as other SF's began to gather in a hanger yet kept a distance from the Colonials to keep up the secrecy for the fact that no one except for 3 people knew what was going on.
Unzipping his vest, he knew even after the talk that they still need to secure this island as well as the Frondal Islands and even the main land which for all he cared the Cylons could occupy Gondawan territory. Turning to Michael as they started walking to the hanger, "Play the recording and well present the options. Those men are loyal men and they'll go with the options but as it stands Terra will divide SF assets with everyone who protects her."

Nodding to Tom, he patted Jonathan and Tom on the back as he started his walk to the hanger for he knew the option to present to the men after all he had already made his decision; a decision he had made quite a long time ago. Taking off his jacket, he connect the tactical pad to a pair of speakers and started the recording; knowing that there would be no question about whether it was real or not since it was coming from him. Laughing, Dalton didn't can about the question as he got up from the chair; "Caprica is just a rock which we made green again and well the Taurons are dirt eaters! The Cylons are our allies not these frakkin Colonies! Frak them and frak you!" Telling just by the look on everyone's face, they felt betrayed that the SFC and the Gondawans would do this behind their back and soon he presented the files Jonathan gathered and they had tossed their SF tags on the floor. Stepping in front of them all as he placed his hands behind his back, "The SFC will be dissolved after this battle and we all need a place to go. We're all soldiers of Terra and well the Nomads will get their own division with missions to bring down the SFC which will start after the battle for the Frondal Islands, Jack will brief those that join his division. The Colonials will accept any SF's that will join them such as myself, Tom, Victor, Samuel and anyone else, the Navy NSOTO's will accept any SF's as well as the Terran Marines and former SFC assets will be shared with the different armed forces and the Colonials...all in all, its time to repair the chaos that the SFC created." Taking a breath, he pulled out a Colonial patch as he put it on his arm; "The Colonials aren't our enemies and we've been fighting them for so long all the signs have been in front of us so I'm joining the Colonials and we'll bring down the General and for now we'll bring down his allies," stepping away as he followed Daniel. Its time he got the debriefing on Alex maybe then it would provide some insight on the general as well.

Walking to Sam with Michael behind him, he unbuttoned his jacket as he held a tactical pad in hand; stopping in front of the both of them; "We need to talk considering your going to end up shooting Alex and the man will be dead forever not knowing why your going to shoot him," walking over to a tool box as he set down the pad. Pulling up classified files, he pulled up the medical file for Alex as well as the memory wipe program; "Gondawans had a way to pull memories, Alex came to us he begged us to do it...he wasn't the murderous Cylon but a man broke up who had lost his wife and his life. The Gondawans pulled his memory and saved everything that he did while implanting new memories but we placed him back in the Colonial military after briefing your Admiral."
Taking a deep breath, he turned to the both of them as he let the recording play; "Flashbacks are going to be a constant with him. He's trying to find a woman name Brook Phoenix and his mind is having him live through all the memories, he's got some insight on where she is but that's it so do you two know anything?"

She was in no mood to listen to what Daniel said, and with his words, she could feel the anger and irritation building even more, her hands tightening into fists at her sides. "He isn't the only one who has lost something, so don't start with me. And do not expect me to just forget what he's done. He may not remember any of it, but I sure as hell won't forget." It wouldn't have mattered how much they wiped his mind, his actions would always remain in Sam's mind. It only made it worse that he had been a friend, one of the few she'd had when she joined the fleet and Cerberus all of those years ago, a friend that had stood with her when others hadn't. But an old friendship didn't take away that he turned away from them, even tortured her at one point, only to come back with those memories gone.
Sam sighed irritably, reaching up to rub her temples. She looked back at Daniel and shook her head at his mention of Brook. The more she thought of the woman, the more she missed her. And she couldn't help but smile to herself, remembering when they'd both been on the Galactica, back when Sam was still the comms officer, and how Brook had tried to hide under her console from the Commander. "Brook was my friend, but I don't know where she went. The last time I saw her was on the Atlantia."

Turning to Daniel briefly, "I'll attempt to forgive him but the last conversation with him apparently left an impact," crossing his arms as he watched the video, "who says Cavil didn't see a broken man and looked for the Cylon side. When we turn an asset into an asset we look for the weakness," transferring the open files to his tactical pad, "the SFC is being dissolved at this point so the intelligence you have will be shared with the Colonials," taking a deep breath. He hadn't seen this person everyone was talking about and even when he talked with Alex there was no mention though photos appeared to be broken and hidden, looking around at the Vipers as noticed his men getting dressed just as news came in concerning the Basestars; apparently they were leaving. Looking back at the city, he could see the three remaining Basestars taking off which meant the Cylons either ran out of Centurions or raiders or that they couldn't hold onto the city much longer either way it was the victory that they needed.
Sending a signal to General Odin as well as Jack, the next stage would have to be the retake of the Frondal Islands, "Looks like the Admiral is making an impact on the enemy fleet and well we need to get to the Frondal Islands," rolling up his sleeves for he knew the Islands would be much more difficult.

Watching while the Basestars left the city, he turned to Michael as he sent a signal to his ship for the raptors to be launched; "We won't be able to take off, the Basestars made swiss cheese of us and we still need to go back and pick up our FTL drive but we'll stay for security as well as a few thousand Marines," pausing as Michael mentioned the Frondal Islands, "the Marines are holding a city but they are outnumbered 10 to 1. There are close to a million Centurions on the ground and Jack went there with his Nomads and barely made a dent so the best luck to you," extending his hand to Michael as he turned to Sam, "tell your CAG that Frondal Islands is pure hell. Raiders control the airspace and they have a new raider that's called the Javalin, tough little bastards, I lost an entire squadron to one of them so the best luck."
Grabbing his tactical pad as he started back to his ship, watching as a fuel canister shot out of the top of the ship only to land on the runway; knowing the Icarus had a long way to go till it can fly again.

Listening to the radio, Victor knew right away that they were going to the Frondal Islands, a place most Nomads are already hating since it lost so many of their buddies but even more the Cylons knew their tactics which resulted in so many deaths. At this point, the Cylons owned the Frondal Islands and the Marines there were trying to defend a smaller island but their defenses couldn't stand up to the full might of the Cylon Empire. Gathering gear from the armory, he filled up on ammunition for his M4 as well as his shotgun and even explosive rounds but he knew he could use the grenade for the grenade launcher to make makeshift bombs; slipping on more bulletproof gear. Zipping up his vest as he peered over at Samuel, "Personally we should nuke the frakkin islands. The Nomads accidentally got dropped on the islands and barely dented the army so what frakkin are we going to make," clipping a small pack to his legs as he picked up a portable cover shield just to be safe.

Hearing the options, Samuel already made up his mind before the speech and chose Colonial Marines since it would mean being off Terra and fighting these metallic bastards though even know he wasn't at his best. He tossed the naval device aside and wrapped up his ankle while at the same time cushioning his boot around his ankle so it doesn't move too much before slipping into his suit with the armor plates; slipping on his holsters as he spotted Victor looting the old SF supplies. Wrapping a bandana around his neck, he stuffed his vest with G-4 explosives as well as frag grenades and napalm grenades as a back up before forcing open the weapon locker; he needed the best gear since they were dropping into hell and he wanted to walk out of there. Grabbing a rifle as well as dozens of magazines, he knew this weapon was used for CQB warfare (Close Quarter Battle) which for him meant holding the line and not getting overconfident. Clipping the rifle to his vest, he equipped a laser sights but kept the scope since they were going to be fighting from a distance as well; needing all the help he can get. Sliding a standard Colonial pistol into his right holster, he packed several magazines of just explosive rounds and soon covered over them to place armor. Placing an SMG onto his left holster, he placed several magazines onto his left side before covering over them as well; placing his medical sack over it before placing his combat knife on his vest. Turning to Victor, he slipped on his hat as well as securing his tactical pad; "The Cylons aren't expecting us and to be honest, we've got Jonathan and Michael with dozen more veterans from the last war so maybe they have a tactic that the Cylons can't see," taking a deep breath as he put on his hat and sunglasses, "don't worry, I'll cover you just don't get hurt like I did."
