Surprised by the Cylons, he too kicked over a bench but he had to deal with bullets flying by with the Cylons fighting with Victor, changing to his pistol as he pulled out the barrel to allow it to fire a larger caliber; loading a magazine of explosive rounds. Opening fire onto the Centurions, he took out a few Centurions before reloading where he went through Victor's pack to pull out a small box of explosive rounds where he was manually reloading his magazine as he tapped his earpiece; "Sam, don't come. Secure the rest of the airport!" Finish loading his magazines, he laughed at Victor's statement as he loaded his pistol; "Everyone wants fresh starts after all aren't you and Samuel after the same woman?" Dropping back into cover to reload a new clip, Sam growled under her breath when she heard Michael's voice over her earpiece. She tapped it quickly before resuming her assault against the enemy. "I am going to secure my foot in your ass for running off!" The Colonel was forced from her cover, forced to run until she reached an overturned baggage cart. Looking around for Tom, she yelled over to the man when she spotted him. "You should go help those two, we can handle the rest of this." After emptying another clip, she motioned for her men to advance forward as she did.

Looking over at Sparky and then Evanna as he hopped on one foot, "I should but I'd feel pretty shitty if you all die and there was something I could have done if I wasn't on my ass in some bed," looking over the man, he knew he was a explosives expert right away as if the detonators didn't give it away, "a Cylon is something the Colonials brought with them. Its about 6 or 7 feet tall, metal skin with a red glowing eye and it likes to shoot us...name is Samuel Winters or Fireball, personally no one calls me fireball anymore cause they tend to forget I know a thing or two about explosives," taking a seat on a old newspaper stand. Samuel was feeling like shit, he could feel his ankle pulsating and knew what ever the navy gave him just wasn't working but at the same time he had to stay a bit strong; "Evanna not all SF's are bad. Shit, just the General is bad, these navy guys will see that and well we just might not be SF's anymore," pausing only briefly, "wonder if the Colonials have room for an explosives expert?" Evie couldn't help but let out a chuckle when Samuel explained what a cylon was. She shook her head and looked over to the man who'd joined them. "Not only do we have the metal kind shooting at us, but the human variety as well. We call 'em skinjobs, and they pack just as much of a punch as the centurions do." Waiting as Winters took a seat, she kept an eye out on the surrounding area. "I'm Evanna Matthews, or Echo, if you prefer." She thought on what Samuel had mentioned before she turned her eyes back to him. "I didn't say all SFs were bad. But I have never shown me the best treatment, and I wanted to make it clear that I didn't plan on spending any more time locked behind bars again."It wasn't just the SFs that she wasn't a fan of. Although she herself was Terran, she practically loathed most of them, because of their treatment of her and how much they'd looked down on her before. There wasn't much she could remember from before, but that always stuck with her. "But I'm sure the Colonials will take all the help they can. I doubt they'd turn down anyone willing to join."He could see that the SF's had some negative effect and well it wasn't anything he had known for quite some time, "The SF's were once honorable men but now they've been corrupted by a corrupt general but the last enemy I fought had shields and were known for their honor in combat," noticing November behind them and he knew he gave away his identity, "Echo is it? They like to call me Sparky and 15 years ago I used to be an SF. Being an SF back then was an honor now its a badge of shame," pausing as he checked over his magazine before turning to November, "we were headed to the airport, correct? And Echo, SF is just a title its the skills we learn that make us the best of the best and the intense 5 years of training." Turning to Samuel who was getting up off of his foot, "Captain November please cover Samuel before he hurts himself again and I'll cover Echo," pushing his rifle into his shoulder as he stood ready.

He didn't like coming between them as he shrugged beside her, "Victor was top of his class marksman and well Michael is being his usual self which means if I head in there I could just be another target," reaching into his pack as he pulled out two boxes of explosive rounds before wrapping them up in a sack, shooting out the window as he tossed them to Victor. Turning to Sam as he closed up his pack, "There I helped them now can we get moving after all those Vipers are probably running out of ammo and the SFC does own a small portion of this airport."

Catching the sack that Tom had thrown in, he pulled out a few more magazines as he began refilling them and soon noticed Victor doing the same thing as more Centurions began pouring in; reaching into his pack for bottle and pulled the shotgun off of Victor's back. Twisting open the rounds, he poured the steel balls into the bottle which left only the gun powder and soon he had half a bottle where he cut off the top to put a brick of G-4 into and a 5 second timer; tossing it into the hallway. Steel balls flew everywhere as the advancing Centurions fell down dead with holes of where the steel balls went through them, finishing refilling his magazines as he turned to Victor; "Its time to get moving so we'll move in 3 seconds," placing the explosive rounds in his pack.
Getting up, he let his rifle hang as he started past the dead Centurions and to the gates which were empty yet he knew they would be defending the flight tower; meaning there had to be a hybrid or a model in charge.

Pulling up a brief history of Jonathan on his tactical pad, he knew a lot of the material was classified at the highest level but being SF and trained at a time when they're training was top which meant he was a soldier with no misgivings. Nodding to Jonathan, John helped Samuel back to his feet as he rested his rifle in his shoulder; "Captain, after you. And the NSOTO's got 3 years of training but I should tell you that pretty soon being an SF is not going to be a good thing."

Hearing the chatter over the radio, Alex was completely out of bullets and nearing bingo on fuel but he had missiles which he knew any Cylon raider could outrun a missile but he soon switched them to ground targets. From the chatter, he knew Michael was walking into a trap since the Cylons would hold him just outside the tower till they wiped out; targeting the tower as he fired off two of his missiles. Watching as they impacted, the tower exploded, sending chunks onto the airstrip as well as the terminal before twisting back around to fire his last two missiles into a heavy raider just taking off as his alarms began alerting him that he was out of munitions and soon fuel as he circled the field.

Getting up with Michael, he followed him down the corridor till he heard the roar of engines which meant either the Cylons were sending a raider after them or the Vipers decided to help; tackling Michael to the ground as the missiles hit the tower. Opening his eyes, dust had filled the air as he got off the man and soon helped him to his feet as he noticed a portion of the tower on the ground beside them; "Good thing I saved your ass again," wiping off the dust as he holstered his pistol. Looking up through the hole, he spotted a Mark 7 Viper flying by as he grabbed his rifle; "About time the Colonials helped out not saying they weren't with the raiders."
Tossing a napalm grenade into the rements of the tower, he watched as the Cylon remains burned before turning around to walk to the main gate; "So let's help the Colonel shall we," switching to his radio as he contacted the rest of the team, "Cylons eliminated in the main structure, starting our way outside to assist," pointing his rifle ahead of him as he began jogging to the main gate knowing it'll put them ahead of the rest.

Running low on fuel himself, James was out of munitions to use and unlike the Vipers he needed a full runway to land which meant while he was landing he was a target to the Cylons yet that Viper attacked with little resistance. Lowering his landing gear, he kept his hand ready to pull the ejection control, hitting the tires onto the runway as he wheeled down the runway; undoing his straps as he rolled to a stop. Popping open the canopy, he climbed out as the Cylons began to fire onto him, grabbing his SMG as well his sack of ammunition as he ran for one of the hangers; sliding into cover as he activated the self destruct on his fighter. Pulling out his earpiece, he went to the channel that Michael and the team was on as he opened fire on the Cylons; "This is Lieutenant James Summers of the Terran Navy, I'm going to need assistance here and really didn't think about packing a lot of ammo with me."

Beaten, the Icarus had dark smoke billowing from it for Daniel wanted to distract the Basestars while the navies missiles had impacted and destroyed on ship but the Icarus was now out of this fight. The armor had been pieced, they had to drop off the FTL drive into a nearby pond to prevent destruction of their ship and even now the guns were either destroyed or falling apart; the Icarus was never meant for this type of fighting. Daniel cared less if the airport was secure for he landed the ship far from the fighting as his mercs worked on putting out the fires while the rest of his crew began switching to solar power; flipping off the remaining power till the solar arrays can charge the ship back up. Dradis was gone, a raider had collided with the dish, the Icarus once a symbol of the great SF fleet was now smoldering on the runway as her crew worked hard to save the frigate.

Ordering Victor to aid Mayday as he changed to his sniper rifle, kneeling down beside the door as he took aim down onto the Centurions; shooting a few before taking fire. Taking cover, Michael tapped his radio as he ran for the nearest hanger as he used the Icarus' smoke trail for cover; "The Cylons are at the far end and there is only a few of them left."

"On my way General"*Pulling back the dual yokes narrowing the flap's opening all batteries and targeting all Cylons and SF's blowing up bunker's. Reaching down cycling up the nose tip left stabilizer then the back right stabilizer. Sending up into a spin whirling around and around sending bullets flying killing them all and any in coming. Cutting the stabilizer's as I level the ship out* *Coming from the beach front in wave from transport sub's from M.A.R.S.,regrouping into squads under fire. Aiming firing back towards hillside bunker's making our way up blowing up bunker's, taking fire from above.*

Having continued to move throughout the outside of the airport, Sam and her team were nearly to the end, taking cover to reload and finish up with the remaining cylons. With only a few clips remaining, it was good when the last of the centurions went down, while the vipers finished off what raiders were left. Taking a seat for a moment to catch her breath, Sam tapped her earpiece to relay a message to Shay. "Lieutenant Jansen, the airport is now clear. You and the rest of the squadrons can land as soon as possible, so get your asses down here." Noticing that one of her team had been wounded, as well as the blood that dripped from her own shoulder, she grabbed a kit and moved over to the man. "This is Colonel Martin, we've reached the end of the airport, the outside is clear for now," she said as she began wrapping the man's leg, wondering how the others had fared.

These SF's are good not bad and that is an order from my branch to yours," flipping off the radio as he began wrapping up his arm. He wasn't directly shot at but more like a near miss and a few from his own such as hot bullet casings hitting his arm, he was burned out, and yet he still needed to talk to Dalton on why Ramsey would betray Terra out of all things. Tapping his radio once more as he contacted the militia and ordered them to find Dalton and place him under arrest, getting up as he watched the Vipers pour in and the one that saved his life finally land. Walking over to the Viper, he watched the man get out and he soon pulled his pistol out for it was Alex yet the last time he saw Alex he was trying to kill him and now he was in a flight uniform with Terran and Picon flag. Taking a deep breath, he spoke softly as he holstered his pistol; "What was the last conversation we had and if you lie to me then I'll arrest you right now."

Landing in an empty hanger, he hovered till his landing gear were on the ground and as he climbed out he could see Michael pointing his pistol at him as he turned to him; "The last conversation we had was about visiting my son which you clearly said no to so if you must leave me be," watching Michael walk away as he watched the Marines beginning to rearm his ship. Taking a seat on the stairs that lead up to his cockpit, he pulled off his gloves as he set them down onto the Viper as he spotted Brook beside him; he knew a flashback was coming as she started moving around to the front of him.
Mission 54 on board the Battlestar Cerberus, it had been months of continuous fighting the enemy considering the Cerberus was focused on taking Cylon assets and aiding the fleet since the essentials were running a bit low. They had just taken a Cylon fuel refinery which refilled the Cerberus fuel tanks but they had lost 6 pilots which included 3 more Picon pilots which left just Alex and Jack to mourn for their loss while Brook kept lecturing him on their extreme behavior.
Sitting on the stairs, his helmet was on the floor and his Viper was being scrubbed to get the blood off of it from the raiders and he had just enough of this ethical shit from Brook considering he lost Ryus who was the most ethical officer he had. Getting up, he unzipped his flight suit as he turned to her; "I'm tired of this shit from you, those Picon pilots depended on me, not you and now they're dead! Me and Jack knew them and well I let them down!"
Turning to him, she ordered the deck to be cleared as she set her gloves down; "Your pilots let us down. They fell out of formation and attacked targets that we couldn't cover them and well you keep it up, you'll be seeing them soon. I don't know how you all survived for this long but you do not fall out of formation..."
Aggravated, he turned to her as he pushed her a bit; "Cylons expect us to be in formation. We're fighting a gods damn war and well Picon pilots were bred in war so frak your formations cause that's what is getting us killed, hit them fast and hard also get the frak out before they call for help," he was trained in war through the war colleges and just like Jack the unconventional tactics are often the most successful; "I know your the CAG but at this rate it'll just be you and me stuck fighting and well..."
"Well," she knew he was pausing and knew why since she was feeling something for him yet she knew he was flirting with a different pilot which didn't both her, "get your head out of your ass. I know whatever it is I know and well leave before I kick your ass for pushing me, Captain, and...Commander says mission 55 will be in 4 hours so do get some rest."
He knew how she felt for him but at the same time he was dating Jupiter who was a bit safer and at the same time he was helping her with her piloting skills since she wasn't the best though it wasn't just about the lessons. Setting his gloves down as he tied off his suit around his waist, "Brook, you need to get some rest as well and please don't put us on stims; see you in 4 hours."
Looking over at Brook, he shook his head as he whispered to her; "It was never about Jupiter, she was a distraction considering the first day and those days after I fell in love with you and well once I got serious with her I always turned back to you," taking a deep breath as he watched the Marines refuel his ship.

Listening to Michael's orders, the group of Marines that were assigned to protect the remaining Council members had to now separate one of the Councilors and move him to the airfield. Calling over a Jeep, the Marines loaded up Dalton before starting the short drive to the airfield; pulling up to the hanger to let the man out before taking up positions around the hanger till Michael ordered them to leave.
