:Marine Captain Lee:
Pushing another Special Forces man to the ground, he put a bullet in his head as he noticed lights and computers were going offline in a wave as it rushed past him. Pulling the tactical pad off of the dead body, he held onto his cigarette in his mouth, noticing even this advance SF technology was offline as well meaning whatever it was had power to bring down the lights of Terra. Tossing his cigarette aside, he couldn't continue to ponder on this for there was still plenty of SF's to kill till they could capture the city.

High above Alpheus, a single drop ship was preparing to drop in a small team for a single mission: Capture the Nationalist in charge of Alpheus and force the unconditional surrender of the Rogue Marines at all costs. Simple objective considering the occupants were amongst the most elite fighting soldiers around and not a bunch of nuggets, opening the outer door as they prepared to jump; getting the last set of orders from Terran Intelligence which basically informed them if they can't stop the Marines then they have to kill them to end the siege.
Jumping out, the four Nomads stayed close as they paid attention to their altitude to ensure they don't open their chutes too early or even too late; waiting till they were 1000 feet before opening the guiding chute to slow them down. Dropping down onto the ground, they soon rolled up their chutes before stashing them down into the sewers; drawing their rifles while they ran for cover.

Glancing over the tactical pad, Michael whispered to his team as they stood guard; "We're going in pretty straight forward, the Nationalist will be in the Governors' Penthouse considering how fortified its rumored to be. We could go in guns blazing and give our location away or we could scale the outside till we get to the penthouse and call in a Marine raptor to evac our prisoners," noticing the nods as he picked up his rifle. Stepping out, he sprinted to the next building just as the spotlight shown on the street but only briefly.
Carefully making it to the Governors' Penthouse, their singular option of stealth was gone considering spotlights were all over it which gave them only a single option; storm the penthouse. Slinging his M-4, he pulled out the titanium compound bow with an automated reloader and holo sights for accuracy. Pulling out one of his many explosive tipped arrows before taking aim at the door, firing right when his men took down the Marine guards; rushing in with the alarm going off in the background.

Reaching the top, he had run out of bullets and arrows but still had his pistol as his team wired the last of the explosives; kicking into the room, killing the pair of Marines before locking down the Penthouse. Handcuffing the Nationalist leadership, the Lieutenant was getting a no go on the EVAC raptor which meant 'Plan B' was a go. Stuffing the Nationalists into the massive tub, Michael ran for the gun locker where he took cover before detonating the explosives.
The building exploded in a massive fireball, sending the 110-story structure to the ground, propelling dust into the air after their wake. Kicking open the locker, Michael stumbled as he crawled over to the tub before pulling out a Nationalist as the Marines surrounded them; "Backup! Get any closer or even attempt to open fire and I'll kill them," putting his pistol in the Nationalists' open wound.

:Captain Athens, SF Command: Getting the final go signal, the Terran Gunships soon left Darous and raced to Alpheus just as the building came down; noticing their advance recon team was stuck in a jam. Flipping the safeties off of their guns, they ordered the Vipers to go in to take out the spotlights and rumble their cages before the gunships approached the outer edge of the city. Targeting a handful of humvees, the gunships fired off missiles before turning on their loud speakers; "Surrender now or we'll kill you all where you stand, you have five seconds to comply," ordering the other gunships to surround the Rogue Marines.

Keeping the pistol in the man's open wound, he slowly watched the Marines drop their rifles while small strike teams landed to arrest the rogue Marines. Handing the Nationalists over, Michael holstered his pistol followed by checking in on his team who had cuts and bruises from the fall but otherwise okay. He had taken a risk yet life was full of risks and yet he knew he still needed to assure one person; calling down a gunship for extraction so he could do just that.

:Detective Holmes:
Working the beat once more in his personal Dodge Charger with only his little light sitting in the console with a shotgun in the passenger seat, the military had cleaned the streets yet they were still around poking their heads into the crime. Pulling out a french fry, most of the donut shops were still closed; turning off onto a street that's been a host of issues between Terran extremists and Colonials. Suddenly a bottle exploded against the wall meant for the newly installed MX01 Centurions that the Nomads placed to end the violence. Calling it in, it was already too late as the Centurion opened fire with the deafening mini gun; opening fire on the building for a minute before returning to its inactive posture. Opening his trunk, he pulled out his medical gear but it was a little late considering the ambulances and soon the media will be disrupting the peace. Starting on his report, it was only 2pm and yet for the fifth time he would be writing the same thing.

Unlike other SF's, Allison dispersed once they got close enough to home hoping for some R&R and well with the surprised Marine attack had even thrown her off since she was talking with a Marines minutes before he had attacked her. Still wearing her desert fatigues, she had stolen the Marine pistol and his CX-4 but now she was fighting an uphill battle since the main SF force was in the islands or in Gondawa leaving barely a platoon for any kind of defense and now they're fighting for their existence.
Jogging to the humvee, Allison was hoping for something other than what she has but it appeared to be already raided by the Marines leaving only a few bullets and even then the bullets can't fit in her gun so she just put them in her cargo pocket. Grabbing a spare radio, she could at least listen in while the Marines tried to narrow down her location and the small defense force of SF's but she would have to fight rather different than she has fought in the last decade. Spotting a drone overhead, she knew it was the Marines and knew hiding in the sewers would protect her from the drone sensors as she sprinted for the nearest manhole cover to do just that.

Dropping off on the outskirts of the city, Tom slipped on his night vision goggles as he went over to a man hole cover that could hopefully lead them into the city and under the wall which protects it. Checking for any traps before lifting the grate, he left it off to the side for Victor to cover back up as he dropped down into the running water most likely from the rain above; giving them the near perfect cover. Reaching into his vest, he pulled out small antennas which would amplify his signal as he switched to SF Emergency channels, hearing nothing but static as he tapped his talk button a few times. Listening carefully, he heard an S.O.S message in the background giving him coordinates but it was already on a loop which could only mean that the original senders were killed. Keeping his goggles on, he continued through the sewers knowing eventually they'll have to pop up to the surface to see what is the possible threat up above.

Following Tom, he kept all of his senses at high alert as he held onto his P-90 while Tom tried to excess the situation, noticing tons of activity on the surface meaning the Marines were seriously looking for any SF survivors. Moving along with Tom, they carefully moved through the water to keep the sound down encase there was any Marines in the sewers as well though both of them knew it was extremely unlikely. Miles and miles of searching the underground and dodging Marine patrols who have now moved into the sewer system while wiring up the sewers with explosives; knowing that they could level the area and maybe even force the Marines to rethink their purposed attack.
Suddenly, gunshots rang out. Gunshots meaning either there was a survivor or the Marines just killed a survivor yet either way they needed to get there and find out which. Flipping the safeties off, they sprinted to the dead Marine patrol, sliding down their bandanas to see Sergeant Allison standing there with a few SF's but no more. Victor only knew Allison by her service record which was a bit spotty a few years ago considering she was on either side of the line but recently she seemed to be back on her duty to the Division though even he didn't expect to see anyone.

Gathering up few of the survivors, she quickly learned that the officers were executed during the initial attack leaving the enlisted and Specialist running around with no leader. She knew from her own experience that there would be an SAR mission launched to look for survivors which meant they had to survive till the SAR mission would rescue them. Heading deep underground into sewer tunnels that had been previously unused for nearly a decade, knowing that they were close to old city armories which hadn't been used since the last war yet the armory would be the most fortified area. Hearing the Marines getting closer, Allison felt like the Marines may have found the armory before they could even get close which meant they may had to retake it yet they had less ammunition then the opposing force.
Surprised by a Marine patrol, Allison and the SF's she had been accompanying unloaded into Marines and soon began scavenging their equipment; noticing Major Tom and a fellow SF standing in front of them. Surprised once more, she ran over to hug Tom for she knew at least now they were safe, pulling herself back together to give a salute to the Major; "I suggest we get out of here the Marines are relentless."

Surprised by the hug, the Major placed his arm on the Sergeant's back only briefly as she pulled away; nodding for he agreed her assessment on the Marines. Tapping his radio to clear the channel as he connected with the Gondawa Artillery, "Authorization Code Alpha Delta 598 Echo Foxtrot, target Alpheus and target all tangos, fire when ready," flipping off the radio as he ordered Victor take the point while he took up the rear. Even underground, he could hear the high explosive rounds coming out of Mach as they began bombarding the Marines whether it was their vehicles or personnel to send a solid message that it would take more than an army to end the SFD.
Jogging through the sewers, they finally reached their entry point where he could only hope there was a Raptor waiting for them if not they weren't too far from a well known abandon strip that might have a raptor or shuttle. Climbing out of the sewer tunnels to see not just his raptor but several gunships waiting there for them, detonating the explosives he wired up in the sewers. Climbing onto the raptor, he noticed that they weren't going off world but to a destination that even he wasn't given.

It's been several months now since the latest Cylon attacks on the planet and all appears to be in order. Since that time, the Colonial military presence on the planet has been reduced to just a few hundred marines and a handful of Colonial Viper squadrons. The majority of the Colonial Fleet has been sent to the various shipyards for repairs and in some cases complete overhauls.
The civilian officials have all returned to their respective areas to resume the business of government. Still, with no actual working Colonial civilian government, there is unrest among the Colonial civilian population and tensions have steadily risen over the course of these past several months. Judge Schwein and her followers have been attemptimg to maintain a central working government but have met heavy resistance from the other civilian officials.
Drexl Industries have positined itself as the one source ofr almost all manufacturing on the planet and elsewhere in the solar system. The large as a planet weapons platform, known as the Drex Star, continues to provide the main defense for the planet and the surrounding air space, putting Drexl in a most advantageous position. The young and upcoming Terran fleet continues to assert itself in the absence of the Colonial Fleet, which is the only force preventing Drexl from assuming complete military control in the system. Soon however, the Colonial Fleet will be returning it's vessels to service.

From Corinth: :Captain Drake; Terran Navy, Public Relations:
Stepping up to the podium as the Captain set the tablet down, unbuttoning his jacket as he prepared to read the statement that Captain November helped beef up; "I'm Captain Drake and we received a signal from Caprica, we had been coordinating operations with what was left of the Special Forces Division who was actively fighting General Harperson and his forces and for a week we've held onto Caprica City which was our base of operations. Two hours ago, Cylon Forces launched an attack which the attack lasted for less than an hour resulting in the complete loss of Caprica City," pausing as he heard reporters asking dozens of questions as he raised his hand for them to sit, "details are being sent to the fleet and what I can say for now, we lost an entire company with unconfirmed reports that the population of the city was wiped out. The Battlestar Cerberus is being rushed into service and will be headed to the Colonies to confirm the reports of Caprica City and until then we'll inform you of any changes, thank you," stepping away from the podium as reporters asked more questions considering he just dropped a bombshell that's already exploded in the fleet.
