Peering back at her as he tried to interpret what was going through her mind, "Look, I wouldn't suggest it otherwise, after all, did tell you I would tell you later but I guess this is better than ever. I've been recruited onboard the Atlantia...apparently a Major Phoenix is starting a new program on the Atlantia and well I'm the only Terran that's going to be onboard. So don't expect me to leave you high and dry thinking I'll be here on Terra while your flying through the emptiness of space."
Smirking, he knew he would tell her later but he had to lead the conversation to it; "Not to mention it gets me out of the way of the Ha La Tha for a while. I'm a complete gentleman and won't leave you when you wake up in the morning..."

I give my buddy, Mitch a sly *WINK* as he tries to move in on my new girl. "Nuh uh, Buddy, I saw her first" I sweep her off in another direction away from him then I lean back and look down at her with a smile. *So, Sugar, you said I remind you a someone. I hope that's a good thing?* I move her 'round the floor again in a slower circle and wonder what she'll say back to me. The song ends and I'm thirsty so I drop my arms from 'round her waist and grab holda her hand. We walk back to the bar and I snap my fingers to get Ty's attention. "Two shots of whatever the Lady is havin" I sit down and give her my attention. They go back and sit down at the bar and the bartender sets down two shots in front of them. JJ looks over at him and wonders how much to tell him about Wrestler. She decides to keep it to herself pretty much. *Oh, yea, about that, you look like someone I was very close to a few years ago. I have lost touch with him though. Haven't seen him in years* she reaches for the shot but his hand stops her. He wraps his hand over hers and looks deeply at her then turns to the bartender.

Packing up his folder and finishing up his drink, Alex nodded to his Marines as they started out of the club. Fixing his hat, he handed the still classified folder over to a Marine beside him; stepping outside the club and to an awaiting shuttle to get back onboard Atlantia to discuss this cautious move he just made.

"Ty, how 'bout some limes and a salt shaker down here, Man?" I smile over at JJ and pick her hand up and kiss the back of her hand real gentlemanly like. Ty slides a bowl of lime slices and a salt shaker down and I catch 'em with my other hand. "Ok, Sugar, this is how ya do this." I pick up the shot glass and look at her. "First, lick the backa yer hand and put some salt on the wet spot. Then throw back the shot, then suck the lime of all it's juice, then lick off the salt. Ok, ready?" I grin and lick the back of HER hand then salt it for her and do my own. Then I pick up the shot and throw it back fast. The Tequila hits my tongue and it's cold but then the burn starts as I swalla it down. Then I pick up a slice a lime and bite it and suck down the juice and quick like lick the salt off my hand.
Outta the corner of my eye I could swear I seen a muzzle flash in the backa the room. I look at Mitch and then trace back to the guy holdin the gun. I lean forward and say in a low voice to Mitch "You see what I see?" I see him sit down at a table with JJ's friend and I look at her "Ain't that yer friend with that guy? I think he's trouble. Maybe Mitch and me outta go over and introduce ourselves to him. I don't want yer friend gettin mixed up with the wrong sort here"

JJ crosses her long legs revealing a good amount of thigh in the short skirt. She is very surprised when Jake licks her hand and then puts some salt on it. She follows his lead and does as he tells her. Then as the Tequila starts its slow burn all the way down she hears him as if Sam is with some guy?
JJ turns her head and finally locates Sam at a table with someone she does not recognize. *Yes, that's my friend, but I have no idea who she's with over there. I guess if you two want to go over that's up to you. I'm feelin pretty fine just sitting right here* I snap my fingers and get Ty's attention *Another round, please* I smile and bend my elbow and put it on the bar then lean my chin on my hand and just let the Tequila start to work.

Stepping into the bar, Captain Smith was now officially assigned to Michael till either he gets clear of Ha La Tha or even off world but either way he needs to stop drawing attention to himself. Nodding to the Terran officers as he kept his cap on, he stepped through the crowd as he walked over to Michael; "Excuse me, Michael, what in the frak are you thinking? I'm taking heat cause of you...half of the territorial council wants to hand you over to the Ha La Tha but luckily for you..you got friends in high places."
Nodding, the officers came over and grabbed a hold of him while he removed his weapons; "I would suggest you sit and well drinks are on us before someone other than the Ha La Tha puts you in your place."
Starting back out, he set the stripped down the unmarked pistols and handed them over to the bouncers before giving JJ a bow for as an officer he still respects others even if they are on shore leave.

Listening to the words of the captain, he knew he wouldn't get his pistols back as he motioned Sam over to a private table in the VIP section; "Another good reason to get off of Terra," motioning over a waitor as he motioned Sam to sit down so he could shortly follow; "2 Terran sunsets on the governing council and drinks for everyone on the council as well."
Bowing, the waiter left to get the drinks but even more spread the word that the government would be picking up the bill.

Sam took a seat and crossed her legs, thinking over what had just went down. She wondered if he was serious about going to the Atlantia, or just trying to pull one over on her. I guess we'll see soon enough... When the waiter returned with a round of drinks, she quickly grabbed one and downed it. For a moment, she thought she caught a glimpse of the CAG leaving the club. Anything was possible, at this point. She looked back up at the waiter, "Another, please. Something stronger," She asked.
Waiting for Michael to join, her eyes wandered back over to the bar. JJ was still there, with two men this time! Sam chuckled, that woman sure was having a good time. She waved over to the woman, noting the odd look she was receiving from those two men. It was possible they were already drunk, so she brushed it off.

Mitch joined his boy Jake and his new friend, JJ, at the bar for a round of drinks. He had caught the flash across the dance floor just as his friend did. Nodding slowly, he picks up one of the shot glasses left for the trio and necks it quickly, finishing it off with a sour lime. "Whaddya think, Jake? Shall we go see what's up?" Mitch finishes off another shot and winks at JJ in a friendly manner, he wouldn't make a move on his buddy's new girl. "Miss, you should have a talk with your friend over there too. Keep her outta trouble."

It was possible they were already drunk, so she brushed it off. Taking a sip of his, he couldn't down it all considering how strong it was not to mention he tends to stick with moderation. Speaking softly, he remembered when he asked for something stronger and well ten minutes later he was passed out on the bathroom floor; "I'd be careful about asking for something stronger...the strongest drinks come from the Helios district. Tauronian Whiskey which is a mixture of a Tauron recipe with some Terran ingredients is pretty strong...most Taurons avoid it considering nobody has made it past the 5th drink."

She snickered a bit. Sam knew she had a limit, but at the same time, the urge to drink came on stronger and stronger ... she knew it wasn't a good sign. She set the glass down on the table and smiled, "Don't worry, you won't have to pick me up off the floor," That had only happened a few times, back on the ships. Back in the day, when the whole crew would gather in the bar and see who could drink the most. Smiling, she nudged the drink further away. "I'm tougher than I look, trust me." Sam said with a soft laugh.

Looking at here with a surprise, he took a sip of his drink as he nudged her foot slightly; "Tough really so I guess that's something to figure out how tough you are."
Finishing his drink he played with the straw while it sat in the glass of now melting ice, the music rumbled against the ice while it sat in the glass; "I could tell by your look earlier that you didn't believe me why is that?"

She watched him, curiously. "Yeah, tough. You don't believe me?" Sam shrugged and reached for the glass, only sipping it in moderation this time instead of downing the whole thing. She already had quite a buzz going on as it was.
She turned her body to face him, wondering what he might referring to. "Didn't believe you? About what? The fact that you said you're going to Atantia, or that you said you wouldn't leave me?" Sam asked, the slightest grin spreading slowly across her face. "I never said I didn't believe you... I'm just used to people running off. I guess you could say that's made me cautious." She took another sip from the glass before setting it back down on the table. "I'm surprised I've allowed myself to stay down here this long..." She knew shore leave was coming to an end. It would be a quick trip back to the ship, and then they would be gone from Terra's orbit.

Raising his hands in front of him slightly as he spoke softly, knowing he didn't want it to be taken that way; "I wasn't questioning how tough you are and well earlier you were questioning whether or not I'll be going back with you."
Calling over the waiter briefly he switched out his empty glass with a glass of his usual vodka; "Well we Terrans seems to have a relaxing quality that we can share and its nice that you've stayed this long maybe you can stay through the night unless you need convincing."

Sam tried not to giggle when he put his hands up. He looked as though he thought she might hit him or something. She finished her drink and held back a hic-up as the waiter left another round for the two of them. "Need convincing? Hmm ... well, I'm still debating on that..." She winked and brought the glass to her lips to take a sip. Her hazel eyes watched the flashing lights, the pounding music making her heart beat faster and faster. "I've enjoyed it here, thank you. Maybe one day I'll be able to repay you for the hospitality."
