Nice, Sam. ;D I haven't listened to HU in quite a while. I even forgot they had a new album! Anyway..... LOL @ Lou Diamond Phillips

Thanks, Mike. I figured a fellow HU fan would appreciate. And you must've known I love Imagine Dragons. ;D I love Radioactive, but that video is so strange. And.... YAY for more NIN!! I heard them mention something about new music on the radio the other day, and almost ran up on the sidewalk trying to turn it up. Speaking of weird videos, their video for "Deep" is pretty odd. Anyway...

Honestly Sam, I didn't know you like Imagine Dragons. Simply put, I heard that song a few weeks ago and liked it, so I looked it up on youtube and happened to be listening to it while I was online that night, so I posted it up. But then again, I kinda suspected that you dig those guys, considering you and I are fairly like-minded when it comes to good music. ;D Anyway, I had never seen the video for NIN Deep before, so I immediately checked it out upon reading what you said about it. Agreed. The video is a bit odd, but that is why I love Trent Reznor so much. I am a bit odd myself... As if you or anyone else couldn't tell. As for the new album, I don't know if you read the article that I provided the link for, but it is due out September 3rd. HOORAY!!! I had been wondering how long it would take him to do another NIN record, what with all of the movie soundtracks he has been doing lately. (most namely The Social Network, which won him an Academy Award, as well as The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, which got him nominated for another Oscar.) Anyway, this thread is for music, and not for me babbling... Since you put up The Hand that Feeds, I immediately had to listen to my favorite track from Nine Inch Nails: With Teeth... This one goes out to all of the douchebags and haters in the world... Much love.

Nice Sam! ;D I have had some crazy times at Korn concerts, let me tell ya. Unfortunately though, I haven't really kept up with their albums since Untouchables, so I'll have to check it out when the album drops. Besides, didn't they break up for a while?
Anyway, speaking of Untouchables, here is quite possibly my all-time favorite song from them...

Nice! ;D I've unfortunately never had the chance to go to a Korn concert. In fact, the only groups I've seen live are Godsmack and Avenged Sevenfold. But Jonathan Davis ranks up there on my list of favorite musicians. I didn't have much interest in their last album, because I'm not a big fan on all of that dubstep shit. Though Narcissistic Cannibal wasn't too bad.
Anyway, two of my favorite songs from See You on the Other Side:

Sweet! ;D I am pretty sure I have heard Coming Undone before, but I had never heard Twisted Transistor. Good jams, yo! I'm glad to see they are still evolving with their experimentation in music, rather than always sticking with the same type of sound. I tell ya though, this is bringing back memories... Alright, a little story here... The first Korn show I went to was waaay back in 1995. They were opening up for Marilyn Manson, and the main act was Danzig. I was there with my girlfriend and 6 of my homies. About 3 songs in, my friends and I were wondering what the hell was wrong with everybody else, since they were all just standing around like they didn't know who the hell was on stage. Well that didn't sit right with us, considering we had been jamming to their debut album for some 4 months already, and loved it. So anyway, I believe it was while they were performing Shoots and Ladders (which is an awesome jam) that my girl, myself, and my friends were front and center, when I somehow got Jonathon's attention, looked around at all of the lazy asses, and gave him a shoulder shrug. He smiled and returned the shrug, and I immediately knew what had to be done. I quickly told my friends, and we (my girl included) started just grabbing random people and throwing them into each other to start the mosh pit, which earned an enthusiastic double thumbs up from Jon. We all happily stayed inside the pit so those folks we threw around could try to pay us back. The pit never dissipated for the rest of the night, so I felt it was a bit of an accomplishment. Ahhhhhh, good times. Side note... The stage they were on at that show was one foot high, and I was standing eye to eye with Glenn Danzig. That dude is frakkin short! Anyway, thinking about how much I miss mosh pits... I'm feeling all Dethkloky right now. Here's my favorite track from Dethalbum III!

Damn! That's one hell of a story. I watched some teenagers attempt to mosh at the concert I went to a few years back... It was pitiful to say the least. But hey, great minds must think alike though. You must've known I was listening to Dethklok on my way home today! ;D Dethalbum II will always be my favorite for some reason. Oh, and you realize what's coming up in a little over a month, don't you? The Gathering! ;D I'm making it my mission to go at least once, hopefully.

Hahaaaa sweet, although the first Dethalbum is still my favorite. Awwww, who am I kidding, I love all of Brendon's metal! Speaking of... Have you heard Galaktikon? It was the album he put out to tide the fans over until Dethalbum III came out... Here, my favorite track from it... The album actually plays out a story from beginning to end, but I won't spoil it for you. You'll just have to go to Brendon's website and order a digital copy! Here is the link... www.brendonsmall.com/------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ADDENDUM: I just noticed that someone put the whole Galaktikon album up on youtube... Here ya go! Enjoy! ;D ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Anyway, about the Gathering... I was going to order tickets with my tax money, but as always seems to happen to me, there were sudden extra costs I had to deal with, such as my TV literally exploding on the inside, so I put out $600 for my first 1080p 51" HDTV. Then there was the $1150 in car repairs (Only 2 months after the warranty expired... Such is my luck), then a $181.50 speeding ticket, and finally $100 for an insurance claim to get a replacement phone after breaking mine at work. EVERY time I get a half step ahead with money, some shit happens and puts me 2 steps back again... Oh well, I can't go to the Gathering this year, but I am frakkin DETERMINED to go next year, no matter WHAT happens! I have only been to one, and that was in Peoria, Illinois in 2002. I got my first taste of tear gas there, so it was an awesome time!!!! Besides, I just hope that Twiztid, Boondox, and Blaze will be there next year, considering they all left Psychopathic records in the past several months. They all say they are still Juggalo family and it was purely professional differences, but we will see. We will see...

Thanks, Mike! ;D I'll give it a listen some time soon. I listened to a bit of the beginning, it's pretty sweet so far. I'd never heard of Galaktikon, so that's something new.
Anyway... Now that I'm on my second play-through of Mass Effect 3, the music has pulled me back in. So I'm currently listening to:
