"Oh this is nothing to worry about, little Pluot. The doctor will fix you right up," her father in the Terran uniform and side arm expressed with sympathy to the little angel for which he spent his life struggling for. He was a Captain. Aide de Campe. His little plumb, a nickname derived from her first baby picture smashing food about her face and the table in front of her, had taken quite a spill from a stairway making a deep and unnerving cut across her forehead and over her beautiful little nose.
Elea prepared her instruments while the nurse injected the first sedative, and pain medication. She then reached for and turned a silvery knob that began releasing a pleasant smelling gas into the oxygen that fed into a tiny little children's mask resting over her mouth.
"Ready, Doctor." She announced as they each checked her vital signs for any change with the powerful anesthesia called Capri-Saarron.
Elea turned the magnifying lenses over her eyes then moved the tiny needle holder, and even smaller needle, inside the curved-shaped laceration. Not a puncture would penetrate her supple, china doll skin to prevent visible scaring. She moved quickly but carefully drawing the tiny needle in and out, almost imperceptibly to the Human, or even Cylon eye. With one last pull she drew the tissues together until only a tiny drop of blood oozed out of scant line where the edges of the skin once revealed her inner muscles. One of them re-attached with a Coddle-bonding technique during suturing.
"Aune! Done!" Elea spoke softly but enthusiastically to her parents. She nodded to the specially trained nurse to cease the anesthetizing gas that flowed into little Kellara's froggy mask. Her parents smiled as Elea wiped the drop of blood away then applied a thin layer of Supragel to seal and protect, the injury, and the new microsutures.

The woman stood there, holding a clipboard and going about her duties. Going about her duties she thought. Perhaps some years ago, back on Tauron, she had gone about her duties as a doctor at the Ga la' Mora teaching Hospital. Yes, but that was many years ago. Now, her duties were those of an assasin. She watched the door to the operating room with anticipation. Soon, her next quarry would be stepping out. But this time was different. It had to be if things were to ever change. No, this time, there would be no killing. Not this time.

Elea walked out into the hallway after her last case of the day. A shower, a meal and a warm bed - that was all she could think about.
She walked by another woman: "An administrator?" she wondered to herself. She smiled half an exhausted smile then turned toward the locker rooms already full with staff and students thinking the same thing.

Having been assigned to provide security for the members of the Battlestar Acheron's medical staff here on the planet was not what Joshua had in mind. This was boring, to say the least. And to top it all off, he was only sent here with several Marines and not one of them from the Acheron. Rejects from the Marine base on Ares. Still, he had not been on the planet this long and under different circumstances, he wouldn't mind settling down, getting a house with a little piece of land to go with it. And a wife would be even better. For now, as long as there was the slightest threat of a Cylon attack, he preferred to be in the fleet. Rounding the corner, he almost ran head first into the woman who seemed to have her mind elsewhere. He immediately recognized her but before he could say anything, he spotted a somewhat familiar face down the hall.
Ha'La Tha.
Slowly unstrapping his holster, Joshua looked around the hallway. Too many civilians. He wanted to take this one alive but he had no qualms about putting a bullet into her head. Frakking gangsters. He had no use for any of them. It never failed, the scum of society always seem to survive, even the Cylon holocaust.
He made his way towards her, slowly. He didn't want a shooting match, not here. He had slipped his weapon from the holster and had it somewhat concealed behind his back. Suddenly, the woman looked right at him. And she frakking smiled before dropping her clipboard and pulling a weapon from under her white lab coat. Before he could react, rounds were zipping past his head. Instinctively, Joshua dropped to the deck, his weapon to the ready. He immediately returned fire, the first two rounds missing their intended target and instead striking a young man walking down the hall. It was the next two rounds that found their mark, dropping the woman to her knees. It had all happened so fast, he didn't even have time to warn those people in the hall. Getting to his feet, he walked to where the woman was now kneeling, her gaze meeting his. Before she could say anything, he raised his weapon and placed the end of the barrel right into the womans forehead.
"This is what happens to murderous assassins Ha'La Tha scum."
And with that, Joshua pulled the trigger.

Elea heard the sound of the alert from the cafeteria. One of her colleagues joked about the radiation department spilling something again. "I don't think so." She said as she stood up from the table leaving her filet of Hagit fish and Terran potato mash behind. As the staff began to realize that a real alert was underway one could hear chairs being pulled quickly and staff jumping to their feet.

As the alert sounded, Joshua looked up and down the hall before ehading towards the cafeteria. Rounding the corner, he saw her standing there. Rushing up to her, he introduced himself.
"Dr. Kaun, my name is Captain Rohan and I've been tasked to ensure your safety. I need to get you and the rest of the Acheron senior medical staff to the landing pad so we can board those Marine raptors waiting there for us."
As Joshua looked around, his weapon still by his side, his comm unit cracked with a message.
Cylon attack under way, all Colonial units are to sortie immediately. All Marine units on the surface respond to all enemy contacts and coordinate with Terran forces. Acheron units on surface make transport to ship as soon as possible and practical. Acheron is now under way from shipyard and will engage enemy forces.
As if there weren't enough problems facing him and his team, now the Cylons decide to attack. He could hear the sounds of air defense batteries firing, as well as a few surface explosions off in the distance. he had to get Dr. Kaun adn the others to the ship as soon as possible. Those raptors would not sit long, not with an attack under way.
"Ma'am, we need to get rolling now, before our rides take off without us. Seems there is a Cylon attack under way and the Acheron has left the shipyard and is preparing to engage the enemy."

Elea, believing she would be running down the halls and assisting with some medical emergencies, looked surprisingly at the Captain as he told her they were leaving. Then her training kicked into gear. Her husband had practiced with her often.
"Don't argue. Don't look back to get anything you left behind. Just leave! People's lives are on the line, including, and especially those immediately in front of you."
She nodded to the Captain who held her arm tightly pulling her into a safe direction.
"Yes, of course, Captain. Lead the way." She exclaimed in a calm tone turning away from the building chaos at hand.

Joshua was in a hurry. Word had gone out to all Marine raptors to report to the nearest base to begin airlifting Marines to the various enemy landing points all across the planet. The raptors that were to take him and the senior Acheron medical staff back to the Acheron was no exception. Their only chance was to get on board those raptors and get airborne before someone took notice. Rushing out of the hospital, he could see the raptors waiting on the pad. The pilot of the lead raptor was motioning for him to hurry. The Navigator stepped out of the raptor.
"Get a move on ground pounder, we haven't got all day. There's already a demand for these raptors."
Joshua turned around to make certain his passenger and charge was right behind him. She was. he smiled because he knew that a certain senior Marine officer had shown her well. Looking at the other raptor, he waved at the Gunnery Sergeant with that group. Once they were inside the raptor, he stepepd inside hsi raptor and sat down, buckling himself in. Giving a thumbs up to the pilot, the raptor immediately lifted off and was already streaking up into the sky. Soon, they would rendezvous with the Acheron, which was currently engaged with at least one basestar. Looking over at his charge, he shouted above the screaming engines.
"Ma'am, we're going to have to take the scenic route to the Acheron. She's busy engaging a basestar right now, so we'll have to come in from a different direction. Seems this is a full scale attack across the entire system. So far, nothing more than a few transports have made it to the surface. The terrans defenses are a lot better than we expected."
To be honest, the terrans had a very elaborate defense system. It was simple. Layer upon layer of anti-aircraft batteries and missile batteries. That, and that infernal Gondawan weapon that could take out a basestar with one well aimed shot.

Elea listened carefully and followed the Captains orders to the letter.
"Do you know where my husband is, Captain? I've lost track of him in all this political upheaval and now the attacks. Or, are you not authorized to reveal that to me? I would at least like to know he is safe. I know my daughters are serving on their ships right now. We haven't lost any, have we?"
Elea did not mention the baby. She was counting on the Captain not knowing he even existed. She knew he would be safe with his Gondawan family hidden deep within the mountains with the Royal Guardians.

After the battle of Tauron, most of the Terran injured arrived here at the Colonial Hospital for treatment. Sitting in a roller chair, Jonathan was released a few days ago and sat beside Evia's bed as he waited up for her; he didn't want to leave her alone in this place. Wearing a plain tshirt with black cargo pants and hit black leather jacket, in the little bit of time he's been out, he's bought himself a bike but his past checks and everything else is still tied up due to the gods damn Council so he's only got 50 credits to his name. Luckily, he changed her credentials to get her in this hospital which was better than the city hospital but now all he could do was keep reading the crappy magazines and hope she wakes up soon.

A muffled scream filled the room when Evanna finally woke up. Only a dream...it was only a dream. She rubbed her eyes, surprised to see that she was in a bed, likely in a hospital. The last thing she remembered was passing out next to Jonathan, surrounded by the SFs on Tauron. Evie began to panic, wondering if something had happened, if he was gone...she breathed a low sigh of relief when she looked to see that he wasn't gone, but instead sitting there by the bed. "Are we still on Tauron? Are...are you okay?"

Noticing her waking up, he got up from the bed as he flipped off a monitor as he noticed her calming down; "I'm perfectly fine, still a bit stiff but fine," looking down at her as he noticed she was concerned, "doctors patched me up on the ship on the way here. We're on Terra, most of the injured were shipped to Terra, you've been asleep for a few days," he had been waiting for her to wake up for so long well he's been wondering if she'll ever wake. He took a seat once more as he noticed a doctor walking in only to simply see her awake and signing off on her chart before walking out, "The doctors have been less than cooperative but whenever your ready we can go."
