Staying close to her, he kissed her once more as he whispered to her as he took one hand to restrain her against the fridge; "I left the job that put me in constant danger and making up for loss time," kissing along her jaw to her earlobe. Not using much of his strength to hold back her hand, he slowly kissed along her neck with his other hand staying at her right hip. Michael knew very well his restraints and unlike last time he was trying not to push himself too far. Short of any family that they started, he wanted to reunite her with Amelia and fill that void in her life. He knew the young girl was safe in the orphanage and knew exactly how Bones hid her; he just needed to talk Samantha into trust that she was here. He had thought about this but he focused on her since he had never really put thought into children till recently. Speaking once more, he started back up to her lips which he was craving more and more; "It's been a while since you've been that red," smiling as he kissed her once more but tugged on her lip a bit before continuing to kiss her. It was hard to judge how long it would take to make up for everything and every second they had lost with one another. But now, time was all they seemed to have, time to heal from the past and find their way back to each other. At first, she made no effort to fight against his restraint, enjoying each little kiss. Her face, however, only reddened that much more. “Well, it’s been a while since I’ve had you all to myself, or this close.” Smirking against his lips, a hand drifted free to settle on his waistband, a small pull bringing him closer to eliminate the last bit of distance between them. They knew each other by heart, but in a way, it felt like starting all over again. He knew well enough how to push her buttons, the things that made her head spin and blood run hot. It was harder for Sam to fight the urge to fall back into the familiar habits of the past, knowing that he still needed to recover. Pulling back for a moment, she looked into his eyes before gently sliding free of his grasp to gently take his hand in her own. “Come on.” Her voice was soft, quiet as she intertwined her fingers with his before starting out of the kitchen and up the stairs. Maybe he remembered all this happening differently but it did surprise him though he was also prepared but nothing happened. Michael had forgotten about his injuries while she kept it at the forefront and maybe that was a good idea. The memories that were trying to cut in never had a chance for they were replaced with the memories of them. The time her raptor crapped out and they spent a few days on the beach mostly talking about their future and enjoying the water. The sound of the ocean was present but distant but her words were much louder. Following her up the stairs, the windows closed as they seemed to stop in the middle of the room while he thought about it for a second. She was being careful with him while he was focusing on this since she was his haven. Keeping his hand with her own, he whispered as he slowly slipped off her pants while kissing her collar bone; "Samantha, in all the years I've known you, you've never been this careful. Trust me." Nibbling on her neck, he briefly kissed over to her shoulder only to pop her bra strap once more. With her being careful with him, he had seen this side only a few times and he didn't feel he was as weak as she acted like he was. Honestly, he planned to open up to her at some point to ensure he wasn't going crazy since she's always had a perspective that he didn't have.

His words seemed to echo in her mind, with each kiss pressed against her body. Trust me. Even in the worst times, with Bones threatening to pull him away forever, a part of her always trusted that it would finally work out down the road. They had both given each other reason for trust to be shaky in the past, but she only wanted to look to the future. "I've lost my touch, then. Or maybe I'm just testing you," she smirked, biting her lip slightly at the sudden pop against her skin. She'd held back for his sake, or perhaps out of some small fear that it would end as it had before; but when she closed her eyes, she could almost see them as they were before the years took away pieces bit by bit. As hard as it was to wait, she had reserved herself to do just that until he was ready to say more. She was afraid to lose him, more than she would worry him with, a part of her accepting the time they did have together. Turning around, Sam gently pushed him to sit on the bed, hands slowly working to pull off his shirt in the process. There wouldn't be anything or anyone calling them away now, no interruptions, nothing to stop her from inching forward to sit on his lap. "I trust you. Now learn to start trusting me again." Smiling sheepishly, arms wrapped around his neck to pull him closer to her for a soft, slow kiss.

Arguments have always been short and sweet and he's always found his way back to her. Ever since the first time he set eyes on her, he's always felt that connection and knew even back then she was the One. The one woman that he would marry, care for, and even in the end would see it all with but with Bones gone it was more of a reality. The slow kissing wasn't that of speed and feistiness of the past but more intimate. It had been a long time since its been just them and the different was relaxing it was almost like renewing their relationship. Not wanting to break it up, Michael ripped her shirt off as he tossed it aside; "I've always trusted you," whispering it to her. As night fell, the room stayed dark as they appreciated one another with not the speed but the slow intimacy. Michael was showing her just how much he loved her and knew no one would bud in. Even in the morning, clothes littered the floor with him holding onto her while she slept. Resting his head behind her neck, it had been too long since they've woken up beside each other and honestly he didn't want to wake up knowing he'll have to see something other than this memory. This must be a fresh start since there wasn't interruptions from his memories and he actually felt renewed for a change.

The feverish and desperate urges of the past weren’t present throughout the night, despite the time apart and recent pull that she’d felt ever since they had found their way back to each other. In the moments before clothes were ripped away from skin, all doubt in her mind had disappeared, all fear that a switch would somehow flip and drive him away from her once more. With each kiss, she’d felt the heat spreading across every inch of her body. And with each touch, she’d found herself wanting their time to last forever, savoring each passing second. There was no one else, no one that would know her just as much as she knew him, and no one that she could love more. When morning broke, a small smile had already tugged at her lips before she opened her eyes. Unlike their first night, she didn’t have to worry about waking up alone; the arms around her provided all of the comfort that she had missed and adored. “Did you get any sleep at all?” Her voice was quiet, barely masking a yawn. It might not have been much sleep, but it was the first time she felt at peace in a long time thanks to Michael; it was what they had both deserved and fought so hard for when it came to their future.

All the fears were gone and it was just them but even now it was just them. They both shared marks of various hickeys and even he looked like he had returned from combat though it was worth it. Lifting his head, it seemed to be a constant trend with them especially lacking sleep but its it's always been worth it. Briefly kissing the back of her neck, he had found new spots last night that he could've found sooner if he was around much more often; "No but I don't think we've ever just gotten sleep," resting his head on her shoulder, "I'm not complaining though." Michael didn't want to leave the bed but rather take all of this in and know he was stronger with her. He had been trying to face everything alone and it was tearing him apart. Whispering to her, he teasingly nibbled on her shoulder where her bra straps would be; "You could almost have your way of staying inside except I don't see the restraints though I can't think of any where I want to be," kissing her warm neckline knowing that he could restart that fire again.

In a way, it felt as if they had turned back time to their first years together, when nights were spent on everything but sleep and each touch held the desperation and worry of being the last. She had never expected to make to it this far, much like the second chance she’d been given at life. At his words, she couldn’t help but laugh softly, knowing that it seemed to be a habit of theirs, and one that likely wouldn’t go away as long as they were together. “Sleep is overrated, anyway. You wouldn’t be happy if I started taking it easy on you,” she smiled, melting under the warmth of his kiss. She knew his intention, with each gentle bite at the skin and kiss pressed against her, pushing her to even the odds. Rolling over, Sam settled on top of him to pin his arms back. “You know I usually get my way,” smirking, she leaned down to softly tug at his bottom lip. Like Michael, she couldn’t find a reason to go anywhere or even venture out. Whether it meant staying wrapped up in each other all day or just staying as they were, it felt like the pieces were finally falling into place, giving them a moment of reprieve after months of struggle.

Surprised by her, Michael didn't struggle with the sheets resting around her hips as they shared kisses. Maybe Kobol wasn't all bad but definitely ignited old memories of his first night with her and yet it felt like that all over again...except the bed was bigger. His teasing had worked as he spoke between kisses, holding onto her hands to bring her down to him; "You can have it cause I'm not going anywhere," smiling between kisses as he wondered if all that baby talk could've ignited something in her or was he thinking too much. Kissing her neck, he could feel her pulse rise as he nibbled on her neck, Michael could feel her slowly push off as he sat up with her. He wouldn't want her to change for he was a bit stronger than what she gave him credit for. Whispering to her, the only thing that changed from last time is that she matched him in strength which he wasn't going to challenge her too much; "Good thing we don't have neighbors otherwise they would've been up all night with us," laughing lightly while hitting all her hot spots as well as releasing her hands to wrap his own hands around her silky body. Slowly working his hands on down, it was a mixture of the ecstasy from the night but the speed of the past for she was getting what she wanted while he was doing the same.

Since their first days, even before they were truly together, Sam had learned how to twist Michael around her finger and pull him back to her somehow; much like the control he had over her, no matter what happened between them. But despite that, there were still things they were learning about the other, almost like nothing had happened before. Promises of the past were harbored in the back of her mind, but her desire for new ones was right within reach, and nothing could take her focus away from their morning that had been a long time coming. Sleepy eyes fluttered shut with each kiss, hands resting firmly on his shoulders once they were free. It wouldn’t have mattered, or stopped her, if there had been others living around them. The gentle touches from the night before we’re replaced rough kisses, nails digging slightly into the skin as his hands wandered to touch every bit of skin they could. Sam was breathless when she collapsed next to him, softly resting her head on his chest to feel his heartbeat. “I don’t think I ever told you how grateful I was that you found me that day.” She was lucky they’d found their way to each other by chance, at a time when she’d needed it the most.

Resting for a few minutes, he was trying to ignore the other person as he whispered to her; "did I ever you a necklace? Just trying to fill in the gaps." It was so peaceful just laying here with her, his hand running through her hair but his mind was far at peace. Slowly getting out of bed, Michael slipped on a pair of lounge pants as he sat down on the bed to face her, his hand running down her body; "I'm sorry for hiding this from you and I just don't think. I think making new memories might get rid of the old ones but I got a confession," resting his hand on her hip, "I've always had a fear of flying."

It all seemed almost unreal, the change from the previous morning and the anxious feeling she’d had since they arrived. Sam quietly hummed contently with his fingers in her hair, mind at ease until she was caught off guard by his words, the curiosity telling her to pry. If he hadn’t stumbled upon her, who would have? “Otherwise what?” The distraction was there, she knew, gnawing away at him to make it seem as though nothing was wrong. “Michael,” she sighed, reaching slowly to rest a hand on his as he sat back down on the bed, “We’ll do whatever you want. I’ve always wanted a bike, anyway, though I don’t recall a necklace...” Smiling, she couldn’t be sure whether it would put his mind at ease or worsen it. Shivering at his touch, one that stopped just at the hip, she had to sheepishly smirk as she hid her face in the pillow, pieces of their night playing through her mind. There were too many things of the past they needed to move away from, but that didn’t mean she wanted to lose the good; their time together on Terra traveling the hillside, or staying in to watch a game of Pyramid only to end up getting drunk and play cards. She was worried, breath hitching in her throat until he spoke again, eliciting a soft laugh. “Are you afraid of flying, or just my flying in particular?” There was no denying that she too hated flying, never having a good experience when she crawled into the pilot’s seat.

There was a few things that he's picked up on the years about her and especially now he could see them at play. Knowing his comment tickled her and that she has always been engaging no matter how bad things got. Honestly, he would love to be in bed catching up on all the lost time together but at the same time explore this home of theirs. Moving his hand across her silky smooth body, it was becoming a difficult decision but he couldn't let her know that otherwise they wouldn't leave this room; "Otherwise, we wouldn't have this time together. Your literally the best person in my life and someone that I don't think I can move on from." All the times on Terra and even the Battlestars they've never been this relaxed and he was finding himself short of words. Placing his hand on the opposite side of her, Michael leaned over as he kissed her upper spine to her shoulder. Moving her hair aside, he kissed along her jaw to her earlobe as he whispered to her; "A bit of both. I wasn't talking about erasing our memories just those ones that are from my old life," it was rare for him to see her like this but he didn't want to ruin this either, "I'm done making decisions. I think that was part of my old job and well my decisions are being narrowed as is. As for the necklace, Bones gave Amelia one on Terra but I think it was intended for you." He was finding it rather difficult to think about anything other than her though Amelia was part of her, making up for loss time given how relaxed she was. She had been telling him how different Kobol and Terra were but only from this room he could really tell the difference.

He was finding it rather difficult to think about anything other than her though Amelia was part of her, making up for loss time given how relaxed she was. She had been telling him how different Kobol and Terra were but only from this room he could really tell the difference. With each kiss and intimate caress, she found herself being pulled back into the distraction despite how tired she knew they both were. A part of her was afraid to leave the bed, knowing how quickly things had always seemed to decline in the past just when they were making it right. If she stayed there in his arms, it meant dreaming a little bit longer. “I don’t plan on moving on. It nearly destroyed me the last time I thought I lost you.” Sighing, Sam gently cupped her hand under his chin to pull him into a kiss. Each time apart, it felt as though she’d lost a small part of herself, until there would be nothing left eventually. There was no one more important to her than he was, no one who fought just as hard as she did time after time. She knew of the desire to be free of the past, to move away from the mistakes that were enough to keep her up at night. She had never faulted him for wanting to forget it, with the hope that one day they’d have more good memories to replace the bad with. But somehow, the damage caused by Bones still loomed over their heads, reminding her that he had been there with them all along, toying with her mind while she had no idea. It was satisfying to know he would never have anything to do with their family, though Sam could feel her stomach turn at the thought of him near her daughter, why he’d taken an interest at all to give her something. “I can’t imagine anything else that Bones could do to torment me if he were here now.” Tucking the sheets around her, she slid to the edge of the bed, not wanting to remember everything he had done not only to her, but how much worse it had been for Michael. As much as she wanted to stay, she knew him enough to know that he would need more eventually. Years of fighting, only to stop; there would have to be something to fill the void. Glancing back over her shoulder, she smiled softly before leaning to kiss him again, biting at his lower lip. “How about a hot shower? And then we’ll figure out where to go from there?” Winking, Sam pushed away from the bed, dropping the sheets behind her as she trailed off to the bathroom.

Whispering to her after the kiss, Michael hated leaving each time and if he knew he would've never went but he was here now; "I'm not going anywhere," there were times like today that he wondered how he got so damn lucky. A thousand things could've happened that night in the bar but maybe they were a perfect match. Kissing her along the neck, he could tell that she was fighting him before she spoke up. Listening, Bones was a difficult A.I since the aggression was unmatched but it appeared Bones wanted him to be happy in some way. Yes, he hated the relationship but saw the irony with Michael being the last of the Spartans. Maybe that was enough for him to hide Amelia and, in some way, make her familiar with him but it was a touchy subject. Short of the after effects, he could work around them but working through them was too difficult and harmful. He couldn't put her through that and he didn't want to go through it with her around even now he saw 2 dead companions. Following her to the shower, he kicked off his pants as he stepped into the steamy space with his eye on her. Water flowing down her body and for a while he could see his handy work with hickies on her neck; picking up the luffa as he leaned in to kiss her collarbone. Speaking up, he started washing her off but kept her close; "We could do that bike thing, maybe explore our home a bit," kissing her neck as he thought over other possibilities. Honestly, there was a void but he knew telling her about the ghosts would scare her and drift him further away. Being here with her helped him but even he was unsure how long it'd last as he focused on her.

Honestly, there was a void but he knew telling her about the ghosts would scare her and drift him further away. Being here with her helped him but even he was unsure how long it'd last as he focused on her. Relaxation fully settled into her body the moment the hot water touched her skin, her mind cleared of the worry she'd started to feel all over again. He could deny it, much like she did when it was the easier thing to do, but Sam knew there was more plaguing his mind and slowly drawing him away. And as much as she tried, she couldn't stop herself from feeling that one day it would come crashing back down after they'd worked too hard to make it back to this. If she pushed too hard, it was possible that she would only end up pushing him to hide it all that much more. If she couldn't give him the peace of mind he deserved, what could she do? Pulled from her thoughts but the feel of his lips against her skin, she hummed soothingly and opened her eyes to look at him. It was sometimes hard to imagine that they had made it this far, from the simplest meeting that held no strings and no promises that led to many sleepless nights on a Battlestar and eventually a marriage that had held on despite everything trying to pull them apart. "I could think of a few things to explore," she chuckled, hands moving over the tightened muscles to gently touch every mark she had left, much like it had been in the past. She'd always left proof that he was hers, and in return, carried her own share of marks from Michael's intensity. Wrapping an arm around his neck, she pulled him down for his lips to meet with hers, biting down softly while her other hand wandered freely. "How about you let me drive this time? Maybe it won't scare you as bad as my flying."
