Operation Cobra: First leg of covert training for SFD Alpha Company.
Weeks after Hell, Corinth Intelligence came into the base to begin the 3 months long covert training which had a purpose to make them blend into any population, assassinate without being seen and own multiple identities which can't be foiled by Corinth Intelligence. Alpha Company was being divided up and within weeks tossed around so everyone can learn these things especially since one day most of them might be using them. The Colonel added another layer of programming to Michael more specially to Bones who showed aggression to one of the Drill Sergeants, Michael was more in control but now he needed to learn what the Operatives was going to show them. Already mastering the ability to own multiple identities, they now had to show that they can kill without being seen and well their target was members of the Tricola Family, a Terran gang in Alpheus.
Sent out in civilian clothes with a silenced pistol, Michael and Jonathan were tossed out a moving truck with all the tools that they should need to conceal before making the kill. Michael's spook name was Thraxus while Jonathan's spook name was Alphisus which Michael could only guess was something that Jonathan screwed up typing in but either way they needed to setup a home base first. SF's and even Corinth Operatives always have a home base with a dozen plans but they had one, kill the gangster without being spotted by civilians or CCTV. Taking over a small abandoned apartment, Michael began laying out what they did have as well as his jacket while Jonathan did the same. This pistol would draw too much attention and if they are overpowered then it could be used against them but at least with knives then they could covered the blade with a poison and insert it into the body. Turning to Jonathan as he grinded up two plants which are deadly but only mixed together, "We've got to work together so do you have a cover?"

Putting on the jacket, Jonathan put on a cloth around his neck and made it appear to be a tie before putting on the other jacket; "Homeless man typically works," laughing as he wiped dirt onto his face and began rifling through his hair. Putting the pistol into his jacket so he could quickly get a hold of it if anything went wrong. Watching while Michael coated the knife, he knew other SF's were probably working on more complex plans but they were going with something a bit more simple; given the record with this gang they hate homeless people so he was going to take one hell of a chance. Ripping the finger tips off of his gloves, he put them on to sell the point before scouring the room for alcohol bottles to pour a bit on his jacket as well as one that he could at least fill to sell the cover. Finding a few bottles, he splashed a bit on his jacket followed by filling one with water hoping no one would pay the most attention to it since the bottle had a brown shading.

Giving Jonathan a nod to get in position, he had a simple shirt to put on as he hid his knife on his tool belt as he put on his hat which was the same one he wore when he joined the Division. The target was a simple gang banger who rules the 4th Street network so their plan was to take him out during night which is relatively quite and he would be found dead by morning. Corinth Intelligence had a 3 page folder about the man and well they needed to kill this man quick before this simple small time gang became something bigger. Walking down the street, he knew he could pull the knife out in mere seconds which meant he needed to find the man and get him cornered quickly. Giving Jonathan the signal, they approached the man and in mere seconds he was dead...Michael's first kill. Making the man appeared to be a homeless man, they began their walk to the extraction point though the both of them didn't know they would be killing more people in their life time.

All of his SF's had completed their first assignment and now he had to go to the Council to explain the programming as well as how he got 100,000 recruits without any of the other General's knowing. Dressed in his dress blues, he walked into the Council Chambers with the General's sitting up on the council with Harperson's pet project sitting at the table; Dalton Sutherland. Taking a seat as he pulled out a chip from his pocket as the Chancellor spoke softly over the Senators, the man was wearing a blue and red robe and held the seat for over a century; "This meeting is to decide the fate of Alpha Company even more to determine its origin and whether or not this Colonel can lead this ambitious project. Mister Sutherland, you and the Colonel can present your case."
Nodding, Sutherland allowed Harperson to get up as holograms began appearing between them; "Alpha Company is the only company in the entire SFD which has undergone neural reprogramming which allows us to write thousands of programs into their head with a personality that we tailored for them. Unlike normal soldiers, the programming will control them thus no PTSD, no regrets and even more they think more independently which makes them superior," hearing one of the General's chuckle, "if they have orders to execute a target then they will think creatively and kill that target when he isn't expecting it instead of in public. Alpha Company will win every battle and in the end they will do it with a lot less losses then say Foxtrot Company," taking a seat as a Senator of Alpheus spoke.
The Senator from Alpheus, a Terran/Gondawan half blood who was more against Gondawans more than a person should; "So Alpha Company is a programmed Company, are they still Terran? Do they still have rights? If they leave the Division will they have normal lives? These are questions that the people want answered after all no one's actions are private even you should know that."
Bowing to the Senator, he got up as he pulled up the programming files; "The programming takes hand when an executive order is passed down other than that they are Terrans and over time their personality will help them grow. As for leaving the Division, that'll be a decision that they would have to make after all history has shown that we are at war every ten to twenty years so they'll always be on call as for removing the programming," pausing, "its not possible. The sad part is these men and women will never live normal lives."
General Tyson got up as he watched the man take a seat, "It’s a risky position you put yourself in and well to be honest, I know how you got Alpha Company started," pausing as he brought up satellite view of Sparta, "we estimate Sparta will be in fighting condition in three years. Will Alpha Company be ready?"
Nodding, Ramsey stayed in his seat as he glanced over at Tyson; "Alpha Company won't just be ready but I can say this for sure, they will outdue all of your companies with ease. They are the Alpha dogs of the SFD," grinning as General Tyson took a seat.
General Yates, one of the few female General's of the SFD and currently the Grand General who is in charge of all of them, stood up as the Chancellor stood aside; "Mr. Harperson, I'm granting you rank of Commodore as well as the ability to command Alpha, Bravo, Charlie and Delta Companies. All of which must survive the upcoming war and if Alpha fails to survive then I hope you found a hole to hide in cause your rank and your life is mine."
Nodding, Harperson knew Alpha would survive as he saluted the General but knew he had to take out the other General's if he was to something or anything on his own. Gathering his things, he tapped Sutherland on the shoulder as he started out of the chambers and back to his mountain.

While the Colonel was gone, training had relaxed a bit as some of the SF's were starting to show off shooting skills especially Michael Thrax who favored the sniper rifle and appeared to be going head-to-head with Bullseye who was pushing the bounds every minute. She personally preferred the SA80 which was a rifle commonly used by the Corinth Army, it was medium range but allowed her to make precision shots without the kick that SF battle rifles had, yet she was getting tired of them trying to out due one another. Sending a target out for the 2 mile marker as she spoke up, "Well put your dicks back in your pants. A target is out there at the 2 mile range, who hits the center mark gets extra rations on me," grinning as she lowered her rifle.

Watching while Rebecca puts the target out, not even the Drill Sergeant's could hit that target but he knew he could. Switching out rifles, he went with a high powered scope and a smaller round than the .50 caliber round that they had been firing; his L96 which was bolt action which gave him one shot and already Bullseye decided not to take the shot but instead focus on the sand targets. Setting up to hit the target, he angled upward for he knew the bullet would drift into the center as he calculated for everything as he squeezed the trigger. The bullet flew out of the rifle and into the air as it glided it drifted downward till it center with the target as he set the rifle aside; "I believe that is extra rations."

Laughing in the background, Jonathan heard the Colonel got back and knew that shot caught everyone's attention after all it was a two mile shot which is now the furthest shot in the entire SFD. Clapping, he moved aside as the Quartermaster took back all the weapons as he walked up to Michael; "Survived the Void and now made the longest shot in SFD history, what's up with you and breaking records," Jonathan already knew the answer but it was always nice to hear it from the guy who made the shot even more he knew he was already first pick on Alpha Squad after all Jonathan had wired that drone to explode. Pulling out the detonator, he placed a block of G-4 on the drone as it went out in flames as he handed over the detonator to the Quartermaster who was taking just about everything even old shell casings. It was time to end the fun and get back to some intense training after all they were now going to start to build muscle mass as well intense in depth weapons training so if they faced off against the Spartans then they could use their own weapons against them.

Before the muscle building, most of them weighed in at 150 some even lower but they needed the ability to carry 70 pounds of gear and a few rifles so they could be out for extended periods. Typical SF personnel are out for weeks or in rare cases months at a time which meant their gear needed to last for a bit longer than what they were going out for. Combat gear consisted of a tactical vest with a kevlar vest underneath with a pair of holsters and knife holder with a Trititanium carbon blade and armor platelets to ensure they had protection. An SF could carry quite a lot of equipment on their legs which made them quite versatile with holsters on their back to carry a pair of Trititanium carbon swords which separates SF's from everyone else but they also had hooks to carry rifles on their back with the ability to carry a backpack as well which carried the bulk of everything else. Each SF makes up their bag so no one bag is the same as another one and for Alpha it was very different since each member had things inside that allowed them to get through every fight.
After a month, Michael went from 130 to a solid 190 and he could lift 750 pounds though now was the time that he was wearing combat gear all the time; everyone was. Empty holsters and vests but they were getting a new device that the Operators would be monitoring closely, tactical pads, invented by the Corps of Engineers and now being field tested considering this was the one tool that could change the battlefield. Receiving his lighter carbon .38 caliber pistols, he pistols had no mags but meant small arms training would begin though it was more about how to disarm then actually the preferred way to use the pistol. An SF with a gun isn't as deadly as one without a gun after all anyone can shoot a gun but only an SF can disable a person who is shooting them with a pistol; though their programming would help them make it through the coarse.

Small arms training was murder at least for those who could remember bits and pieces considering their programmed persona's took over and they took a back seat. Tom watched while Michael adapted and even with the bullets being stunner rounds most of them took their beatings. Days even weeks without sleep, they were being drilled to not just out perform Spartans but even other SF's; taking their beatings till they began getting the upper hand on the Sergeants. Tom was one of the 10,000 Operators in the room and he needed to learn this as well considering the mountain may not be safe even for the Operators but they needed to learn just enough to survive.
Two months after the course started, they walked out with their pistols and the ability to disarm an armed person all while taking shots to the chest and even the legs but over time they could do it without taking a shot. As for Tom, he had to start classes that focused on the tactical pad after all he would be watching over Alpha, Bravo and Charlie squads which meant he had to work with the tactical pads.

The void took a lot out Jonathan and he had gained some muscle mass but when the intense rebuilding process started he began losing a bit more weight but he also replaced it with muscle. While they were rebuilding muscle they learned 15 different fighting styles some were quite old but still used which turned them into weapons. Mind and body working as one yet if their heart didn't matter since their programming would cover that and their heart would influence them. Silly right but at this point they didn't have one, they were quite simply the best soldiers with a hint of a soul. A month later, much like Michael and others, Jonathan was in full combat gear with empty holsters but unlike Michael he had his swords which were specially crafted blades with leather wrapped around the hilt. He too got a pistol, carbon plated .38 caliber pistol, it was carbon plated to make it lightweight which is essential for all SF's since every ounce of weight would be something SF's have to make up for.
Small arms training, one of the most painful courses, a course which his own programming would take over; he would be a passenger while the lines of programming would do the rest. Everyone gets small arms training, Real bullets would've killed them but stunner rounds, shit, even as a passenger he could feel the pain as his muscles were pushed to the limits but soon he learned through muscle memory. While the Operators left the course, the Field Operatives started their fencing which included fighting with a sword or their field knives; everything which would make them the better fighter. If they were going to go to war with the Spartans, who fought with swords for the most part, the SF's needed to defeat their enemy with the same weapon they tend to use; except their swords were stronger. The twin swords were extensions of their body with the programming they were better than the most well trained Spartans wouldn't stand a chance against them.

Months of fencing and learning the seven styles as well as learning how to maintain the swords since the swords would be their second to last line of defense but in that time they learned how to make swords. Coming out of the class, Michael now learned what was considered the basics which meant now he could form his team; a team that would be the staple of Alpha Company and be feared in the upcoming war. He had already recruited an Operator, Tom Westin, now he needed a Demolitions expert as well as another sniper with an Assault officer and finally Intelligence Officer. Jonathan was the finest demo expert in the Company as for another sniper he would go to Liam Quinto who still didn't have a call sign but who to get for Assault officer and well it had to go to Allison who had built up aggression against the Spartans and much more aggressive than himself. The Intelligence officer would be Corinth Intelligence trained and he had little control over which Albert Quinto was assigned and would be joining them in a few days.
Alpha Team was assembled. During the war, Alpha Team would be feared by SF's as well Spartans often referred as Death Squad since they often smell like death and had the highest kill counter than any other team. For now, they began a 3 month course on squad training to become a better team all the while getting trained in weapons of their choosing since they would know how to fight instead of just fighting.
