She smiled at him again "So what do you think?" Jack smiled back "I like this idea but at the same time we wish to be left alone correct. So I say we find use a nice size island for a start that slowly work from there. We do want to attract attention to our self's. We need to setup on ground service system to monitor Airways and rader." The Cylon cocked his head to his security team leader "Good you made it, you got your plan. Take who ever we got gear them up and take the heavy raider's, Lexi and I will monitor from here"

She turned to look at who he was addressing when the Security Team Leader entered the CCC. "Good luck down there. Find us a suitable island to build on as Commander Sydell has an excellent idea." Lexi leaned on the console and stretched her back as she smiled at Jack. "I am growing tired of living on this Star and am more than ready to put my feet on some solid ground." she turned and leaned herself against the console as the team began to head for the Landing Bay. "I hope this doesn't take forever!" she tapped her long fingernails against the metal of the console and made clicking noises.

*A week later Sydell's teams returned with good news and bad. They had made their way onboard with no trouble, so the question was what happened down there? The teams unloaded the heavy raider and organized anything as they placed them on carts. Making there way to Center Command to speak with the two officer's.*
"Jack, Lexi the planet is clear of humans, full of life so we will have no problem living down there. As for the bad problem as I see it, the minute we flew down there we were cut off from comms from you. Comms on the planet, however, works fine, in a way it will keep the planet safe from scans. What does that mean for us, well we can't be notified if someone decides to come explore the planet. What I mean is no long-range warn until they enter the atmosphere."

The Cylon paces the room as he listens wondering what have they been up to for a week without contact. His team soon speak on the problem of the matter. "Hmm this could be a problem then, on the other hand, the planet would be safe from planetwide scans. I think we can solve this later, the good news is we found a suitable planet. Hmm, no ship to ship comms means we have to take the Basestar down with us, well we will have a place to live until homes are built. Lexi, what do you say on this subject?"

Listening closely as the team reported back. She glanced over at Sydell. "I believe we can set a beacon up in space and tie it directly to the Star. Whatever blocked signal between the comms should be able to be bypassed by our superior technology and the Star will have enough power to override whatever it is." She crossed her arms across her chest and paced along the main control area of the Star. "I will instruct the Hybrid to take us down to the Island". With that she walked over to the Data Stream and pushing her hand into the wet goo she relayed her intentions to the Hybrid.
The Star immediately JUMPED to the location and the atmosphere illuminated the Star with all the bright blue sky one could imagine. Lexi smiled with anticipation of exploring the island. "Shall we go take a look around, Jack?"

] "Shall we go take a look around, Jack?" "Sure I am ready, this is indeed intriguing. No human's, a peace of atmosphere to keep us hidden from planet-wide scans. I have also learned from the humans that they will never stop even in death. so we need to be on our toes and make a security base right away." Jack Sydell wished his wife were able to see this they would have loved it. A peaceful planet for us to call home. The Cylon headed out to prepare a group of heavy raiders with supplies to build homes and find resources.

Leoben walked into the CCC, relieved that he was finally here. Having been on the human planet Terra for the past several years had taken its toll on him. His regret over the attack on the 12 Colonies had recently been overshadowed by the disdain and treatment from the humans, mostly the Terrans, towards himself and the other Models living on Terra. At least the Colonials had finally (somewhat) put the past behind them but the Terrans, theirs was a renewed hatred for the Cylons.
He got it and understood their position. It was Cylons who had attacked their planet, several times. Of course, it was the Colonials who brought them to Terra. Terra. An ancient name for Earth, the Earth of the Final Five, the Earth from which these "Terrans" originated so many years ago. Only a handful of the Colonials knew this fact and they had done a rather superb job of keeping it a secret.
He just couldn't handle the atmosphere on Terra any longer. He wasn't one of the Sixes there, Sandy or her sister Rachel. They loved the humans, specifically the Colonals. He got that as well. He had no ill wishes against the Colonials, It was the Terrans. Coming home would help set his mind straight. He walked up to the Six standing there in front of him.
"Supreme Commander Kona, Leoben Conoy reporting for service."

"Welcome to the Scorpion, Leoben! I trust your journey was without incident?" Kona knew how her sudden return to the Scorpion was a welcome relief to Lexi who had stepped up in her absence. But now, Kona was back and she was in charge. "I can use your help and I would like to hear about your time on Terra with the humans." Kona motioned for Leoben to sit down across the table from her.
"Please, make yourself comfortable. You are valued here". With that she smiled her warm, welcoming smile to put him at ease. She didn't need him being 'star struck' in her presence. She needed him to feel at ease.
"As you can see, we have settled this planet for our people and we have not had any problems or interactions with any humans since we found it." She was proud of Lexi and all she had accomplished.
"I, myself, have been away for many years for one reason or another but I am back now. So tell me, what is your opinion of Terra and is there any need for concern?"

Lexi was more than happy to let Kona take back the Supreme Commander position. She smiled and offered her hand to Leoben as he introduced himself. "Welcome Brother" she smiled and stepped back a little bit so he could talk more with Kona.

For what seemed like an eternity, Leoben had been standing there, thinking of his decision to return to the Hive, as it were. The Cavils had really frakked this entire thing up from the begining. He understood humanity's mistrust of the Cylons and had always hoped some sort of truce could be worked out between humanity and the Cylons. Living on Terra had almost convinced him it could but in the end, it was not meant to be, at least for now. He turned to Kona.
"So, what is The Plan now?"

Kona was a little surprised at his ignoring her request to report on Terra. She furled her brows momentarily but shook it off. Chalking it up to living amongst the Meat Sacks for an extended period. She sat down and crossed her legs drumming her fingers ever so slowly on the arms of the chair.
"We have many options and opportunities laying in front of us, Brother" considering the many possibilities she wasn't sure which path would be the best one right now. "There are captives within the Colonial Fleet that we may go and bring home. Or, we could just sneak up on them and Nuke the entire mess and be done with it. After all, our people will just wake up but the humans will be gone for good." Kona was not of a mind to feel anything less than contempt for the human beings after all she had been through.
"I will entertain ideas if you have any suggestions, Leoben?" she leaned back and interlocked her fingers as her foot swung slowly from the knee across her other leg.

He stood there listening to her and it made his head hurt. She sounded just like Cavil, all of them. The anger and hate just would not go away but he understood it and where it came from, at least with her. He also knew she was pissed because he ignored her "request" to report on terra but oh well, she would just have to deal with it, just as he would now have to deal with being a Cylon again and not some oddity of the humans. He took a seat in the chair near him and thought for a second.
"Well, as much fun as nuking humanity into tiny little pieces sounds, I'm afraid I'll have to pass on that one. Besides, if history has taught us anything it's that there is NO way to wipe out humanity. Hel, they're all spread out all over the cosmos now, thanks to the efforts of Cavil."
Leoben really wished he had removed Cavil from all of this when he had the opportunity so many years ago.
"As for captives within the human fleet, I wouldn't go so far as to refer to them as captives, they are there of their own free will. Still, we should try to bring them back into the fold, so to speak. There are two of your persuasion I would very much love to see come home for good but that will take some major convincing to do so and I do believe they are both on or near Kobol at this time, someplace our presence will surely cause a major problem for everyone."
Leoben was aware that any show of Cylons or Basestars at Kobol would cause the entire human Fleet to launch an all-out attack on their new home world, resulting in the deaths of so many hybrids, something that he did not wish to see happen, regardless of the fact that the so-called hybrids were really just humans with a sprinkling of Cylon DNA mixed in. The Fours had finally managed to create a living, breathing life form, capable of sexual reproduction, in a lab setting. Never mind it had caused all sorts of problems for them but those creations were now numbered in the hundreds of millions. Talk about a population explosion.
"Let's not forget that the Cavils and their group are still out there trying to muck things up as much as possible, and they are not happy with us, still. We need to take that into consideration for anything we decide to do. The last thing we need is to have him and his co-conspirators surprise us from behind while we are busy doing whatever it is we are going to be doing."
Leobens last contact with a Cavil was not a pleasant one, especially considering he had essentially set him adrift in a Heavy Raider to fend for himself. That particular Cavil had made it quite clear there would be consequences to deal with for betraying him. Obviously it did not help that Cavil was fully aware of what had transpired many years earlier between all of them, something the Sixes were completely knowledgeable about and had somehow managed to keep from the others for so many years, so his trust in a Six was not quite complete and most likely never would be. Still, they needed to be a Team at this point, even if it were two different Teams.
"I suggest we take a visit to the Colonies and see how much progress they have made in rebuilding, give us an idea as to when we can eventually expect them to retaliate for the destruction of their home worlds, because I can guarantee it will eventually happen and it will come from the Colonies and not Terra or Kobol."

Kona pursed her lips and placed her interlocked fingers in front of them. She watched his face, his eyes, listened to his words and contemplated what to do. "I have no desire to interact with them." She got up and walked to the viewing window. Looking out into the darkness of space she whirled around and leaned against the counter.
"If we take the Star to the Colonies, as you suggest, it will inevitably start an all out War. I'm not afraid by any means, but I am weary of it all." She thought for a minute before inhaling deeply.
"Lexi has brought us far beyond any realm that humans will cross. I believe if I remember correctly from my time with the humans that they refer to this as the RED LINE and they will never follow us here. We might be further ahead to take the Star out and explore what lies beyond our investigated areas."
"Not long ago I tried to help Captain Reynolds and that was a miserable failure. I will not set myself up for more devastation from too high of expectations. Let's discuss exploring the area that Lexi has established for the Cylons and a new Home World."
She walked around and waited for him to give her his ideas. "What do you think, Leoben?"

Leoben listedn to her and recalled how many times he himself had uttered essentially the same words, being so weary of it all. He was, as were the others. Except for Cavil, of course. The Cavils were hell bent on continuing this senseless fight until there were none of them left. That of course would not be a bad thing if the universe had no Cavils. He turned to look at the Six.
"The humans are so busy with re-settling Kobol, the gamma wave approaching Terra and of course trying to appease the survivors on the Colonies who are still pissed at being left behind, to be concerned with where we are. What the humans are concerned about when it comes to us is the Ones and their continued fight. As for them following us beyond the Red Line, I agree we set out amongst the stars and find our own place to call home. The planet we are on now no longer suits our needs, just as Terra no longer suited the needs of those of us who tried to call it home."
The planet that had been settled by the Cylons had turned out to be a temporary home. The star of that system was dying and about to go supernova, something nobody had detected when it was first discovered. Leoben had always wondered how that had even happened, as the star should have been the first thing studied and for the very reason they had to leave. There were of course thousands if not millions of habitable planets in the universe but since the addition of the hybrids, any planet had to be suitable for humans and machines, since the hybrids had mostly human DNA. Of course, the Cylons also required essentially the same requirements from a planet since they too were biological, so to speak.
"Do you have such a destination in mind already, or are we just going to wing this and go jumping across the cosmos looking for a home, like the Colonials did for years>"
