*Cocking my head as we wait, looking around and out the window* "Ok Lieutenant Shay please just take us in, I'll do the paperwork later."Shay gave the thumbs up once everyone had gotten on board the ship, and the FTL drive had finally finished spooling up. *Uh Admiral, don't you mean Ensign? Never mind, everybody strap in and hang on tight.* Within seconds, the ship disappeared from the atmosphere of Helios Prime and back into the Atlantia's airspace.

Swimming out of the cabin, he carried his gear to the shore as he looked around; he hated this place. Suddenly, his tactical pad started going off as debris from the raptor rose to the surface: Attention radiation levels are high seek radiation medicine. Swimming out to one of the crates, he knew something was looking out for him as he grabbed a small case of radiation meds; injecting one right away. Clipping on his backpack, he flipped on his UV locator before attaching knee pads and elbow pads before putting on his gloves. Shaking the water out of his rifle, high radiation levels meant that nukes were used and he was in the open which was the worst area to be in; fitting a bandana around his neck before starting his walk.
It was quiet even more than before. He could tell that whatever had happened must've been recent with the radiation levels concentrated in some areas. Approaching a village, he did a few sample scans before moving on due to everyone being dead from what appeared to be smallpox and the water was contaminated.

The screen of his tactical pad flashed red as radiation levels climbed, he was growing weak as he walked through the empty city streets till he took cover; this place was draining. Sitting against the wall, he looked down at his shirt to see six points slowly bleeding again; taking another anti-radiation shot to combat the high radiation count. Getting up with his rifle in hand, he could hear walking...except this sounded familiar as he flipped the safety off; walking out with his eye down the scope. This world had a dirty secret...they created robotic helpers and soldiers...these people are dead yet soldiers keep fighting and he was a survivor.
Flashback Three Months Ago... Michael had heard of reports of Cylons hidden in the downtown district and were assaulting Marines with no survivors so his task was simple. Getting his teams of thirty men total they began a campaign against the Cylons. Clearing streets but each battle the Cylons were taking his forces and a few days later...he woke up in hell. Former Nomads strapped to tables with devices implanted on they're chests with Cylons doing extense genetic manipulation specifically pulling out Gondawan genetics. Looking at his own chest, the device was on his and he was strapped down as an image of his genetic structure with the Gondawan markers highlighted before the process started. They began pulling this structure from his bone marrow. No sedatives made this procedure painful as the room was filled with screams for this genetic structure was part of them...part of making them SF was being ripped out and downloaded. Covered in sweat, he suddenly broke free of one restraint as he started removing the needles but it was too late; they took his Gondawan DNA which meant they were going to kill them. Screams were silenced with gun shots but he wasn't going to die here. Getting free, he went for his rifle and one of his Captains...this lab experiment was done!
Holding his hand next to his temple, the flashback crippled him as he worked on recovering but it was too late...the enemy walked past him. How did these people die? Was it these bots? Quarantine gone bad? He needed answers but he needed to remember he wasn't the same ole soldier...he was weaker and had gone from the best to simply HUMAN.

Waking up in an empty tub, Michael found this apartment after his crippling flashback and chose the tub over the questionable bed. Lifting his pack to place it on the ground with his rifles as he removed his bandana from his eyes. His sleep was far from comfortable and he had endless nightmares of that lab and watching his men die. Sitting up as he pulled his vest off to see his dog tags and...his wedding ring...he missed her more than anything. Putting on his leather jacket with a tarnished SF patches on the sides but it would provide some protection. Securing his vest and gear, he had his G36C connected to his best as he ate his MRE to get nutritions that the anti-radiation meds are draining him of.
Tossing the packet aside, he finally put his cap and black sunglasses on which were connected to his tactical pad. He needed to find the origin of the signal which meant following his tactical pad and the line it gave him. Flipping the safety off, this time if he saw a bot then they were dead; simple and he could probably signal for help.

Completing the preset jump list, the raptor passed through the EM charged atmosphere which cut off the ion engines which left them in free fall. Reaching over by Tom, the raptor left in free fall till he flipped on the chemical engines which stopped the falling. This place looked inhospitably and flying over a crashed raider, it definitely had a history and one he wasn't adding to. Loading up the scanners, he began downloading the other raptors' flight recorder as he spoke; "Holy shit. Radiation count is high and the probe we launched into the atmosphere suggests not too long ago nukes were launched; 121 to be exact. Suggest doubling up on those shots," dropping a fuel pod.
This place has seen some bad times but he envied them as he flew past the raptor crash site; "I'm going to go for the closest city after all that pilot tried to crash close to it," landing inside of a few blocks. Turning off the chemical engines, he turned to Johnathan who was standing behind him; "I got you here just tell me when your ready to leave."

Feeling the landing, Johnathan nodded as he lifted his bandana to cover his mouth and nose; "Alright, it's go time. Tom, stay with the ship and keep your eyes open," having John open the hatch. He had mission reports about this place from everyone during the first visit so hostiles are expected but the message is calling for help. Stepping out of the raptor and onto the sandy road, taking his radiation shot; "Victor, track down that signal after all Michael will be going there too. Fire only if fired upon and Echo your with me. Remember, he probably has some stims in his blood so expect a fight from him but let's stick with the plan."

Loading up the digital tracking program which was created by Michael and now used to track him down. Slipping on his sunglasses, he too lifted his bandana up before taking a much needed radiation shot. Stepping off the raptor, he could see a line leading to the signal as he turned to Johnathan; "We have a ways to go but we're definitely going to need that shower."
Ash was everywhere and covered everything but it was also radioactive particles which was just more dangerous. The filter in the bandana gave some protection but prolonged exposure might mean more time in med bay.

Reaching the bunker, Michael took his last morphine shot and hoped there was more inside after he was still in pain. It seemed odd that this bunker was built in a park yet from his last visit this place was quite militaristic. Dropping in from what appeared a stream fed into, he placed his tactical pad onto the key pad as he waited for it to obtain a code for the door. Coughing hard, he had spent more time than he should in this environment and he knew any Terran Doctor would have both a fit and field day with him. Grabbing his tactical pad, he pushed open the 8 inch thick door that led into an airlock system as the lights went red followed by water shooting out of the walls and soon a gas around him. Feeling less of a cough, the last bit used light to dry him before opening the next door to an elevator. Surprised, there must've been some level of warning to what was wrong on the surface yet he doubt they made it back here for safety since there was a fine level of dust.
The elevator doors opened to reveal a massive white corridor that was well lit and a recorded message playing:
If you are hearing this then you are a survivor of this world. A few years ago, our distant brothers came and infected us with a virus before leaving. This led to a mass extinction and war with our created but we are not alone. We found hope and it's up to you to search for that hope and reunite...
The message cut off which could only mean that the file was corrupt which he didn't blame anything other than the lack of backups. Reaching the med bay first, he found more stims as he took a few to end the withdrawals he was having. Following his tactical pad, he looked over the signal with confusion since it was a return signal yet Terran and very old 'Arrived Home'. Home for him could be Terra or anywhere else but this message made it's way from one hell of a distance and not even Terra could detect the signal yet Helios seemed to be in the process of attempting to narrow it down as if this was something familiar.

She hated the radiation shots, but she hated being stuck in a med bay even more and wouldn't bother risking it. When they were finally on the ground, Evie took a moment to scan their surroundings. Although she knew pretty much nothing about the planet they were on, there was no time for that many questions. Strapping her pistol to her hip, she followed along with Jonathan in the hopes that they could extract Thrax and be done with it all as quickly as possible. "Stims, stealing a raptor, and taking a hostage? You mind telling me what got the Colonel so wound up that he would do all of that?"

"Stims, stealing a raptor, and taking a hostage? You mind telling me what got the Colonel so wound up that he would do all of that?" Taking his radiation shot, John started walking with them as he answered Evanna's question; "Drug use is nothing new amongst veteran soldiers and the Colonel has had it rough from what I heard. Alpheus is a tough place and the Generals had to rebuild the Peacekeeper Corps just for that city," this city reminded him of home after the Cylon attack. Death and destruction on a scale that hadn't seen and well it never came down to nukes. Watching something pass by in a distant street, he hated this errie feeling and would rather leave as quickly as possible. Speaking once again, he switched out his heavy machine gun with his AR15; "His wife, Colonel Martin, left for the fleet during the last days of the war. When he recruited me, I could tell that it had affected him but he was so good about shrugging it off. Something changed...could be grief or pain or both but he's dangerous with the drugs," noticing Johnathan nodding, "and his brother is looking out for him."

Following behind them, Samuel didn't like empty cities and even the quiet which was why he was working on something with his pack. Wiring up speakers, he connected them with his tactical pad before his playlist with an evil look from Johnathan; "Nothing is here and I'm frakkin bored," looking down at a message from Victor. If this all started with a biological contaminate then there had to be samples and they could analyze them on the Independence.
Breaking away from them, Samuel started walking towards what appeared to be an office building as he prepared his medical kit. Blood sample and skin sample would be easy enough...shooting open the glass door. Signs of quarantine could be seen yet why use nukes? Approaching a woman, he began withdrawing blood as his tactical pad analyzed the body only to report a strand of smallpox but something that they had cured a long time ago. Getting skin samples, he placed them into a decontamination packet and placed it on his pack. Running back to them, he saw them waiting outside of what appeared to be a bunker; "So best guess is that he's inside?"

Waiting for Samuel once more, Johnathan sent a text to the raptor as he popped blue smoke before going through his pack. Attaching his taser to his holster, he noticed Samuel having a yellow contamination pack on his existing pack as he dropped down into the man made ditch. Keeping his eye down his scope, he noticed that the keypad was lit up as he typed in the code for the door to open. Letting everyone enter, he entered last as the chamber started decontamination protocols as the tactical pad registered all contaminates gone before opening to an elevator.
Moving to the front, he pulled out the tranquilizer dart as he and the others began dropping they're packs as well as they're rifles. They had to be both fast and flexible especially with someone who possibly knew that they were coming.

Victor knew the Colonel, personally, shit he was trained by him so he knew how he'll approach them. He was excellent hand-to-hand which he was expecting since he was good at throwing projectiles. Setting his set of darts on his arm, he dropped his pack as well as his jacket as he spoke; "Pull him in the open and myself with Samuel will take him down." The doors open to the white corridor with John behind them with a taser drawn and repeating message playing. Noticing Michael looking over a panel, he knew one dart could slow him down as he pulled the plastic cap off off before tossing it into his neck.

Focused on finding the origin of the signal till he felt something in his neck, pulling it out to find an empty dart as he turned around. The stims were making up for the lack of Gondawan blood but he wouldn't be as strong as he used to. Dropping his rifle, normally he could take them on but with Johnathan firing a Taser into him he put all his anger into walking towards them with his knife drawn; this was Jack's doing. A few more darts into him, he fell to the ground with a dart in his back...slowly crawling before passing out.

Surprised. Johnathan was expecting more of a fight even dragging his guys to the elevator yet they were only going to drag Michael back. Unpacking a simple blanket, he nodded to Victor to begin downloading what was in the database before rolling Michael onto the blanket. Cutting away the leather jacket to place IV's for medication to help with detox and a stabilization before noticing that his shirt was wet. Cutting the shirt off, he stopped as Samuel set they're weapons in the elevator; what in the hell happened to him. These incisions were deep yet whatever was here sat in the middle of his crest.
Unpacking his own med pack, he took a blood sample as well as a marrow sample before placing it in the pack to be analyzed later. Starting to put bandages on the wounds, removing his pistol before having Johnathan, Victor and Samuel carry the target into the elevator for evac from this dead world.
