Taking a sip of his watered down Sprician vodka, he turned back to her as he tried to push it aside; "I'll tell you later...I promise," taking a deep breath, his eyes were on the crowd with experience of the last time he was here and the possible Ha La Tha blow back on him. Dancing with her, he set his glass down on the table; "Out of all the Colonials I've met you seem like the most laid back one."

"Alright, I'll hold you to that," She said, taking another sip from the glass before setting it down on the table. She knew he was purposely dodging the question, completely changing the subject. Letting it go for now, she continued dancing, moving along with the beat. For the most part, Terra was impressive ... a nice spot for shore leave. "Laid back? Well, that's a work in progress I think." With a laugh, she continued, "I think it has more to do with the people I'm around than anything. Some people have a calming effect on me ... and others, not so much."
She picked up the pace a bit, her hair swayed gentle from side to side. "I guess I just try to have a positive outlook on life now..." Sam said with a smile. Although, she knew inside that it was possibly the fact that nearly dying made her more grateful for anything that fell into her life.

Taking a seat on one of the bar stools, JJ waited patiently for the bartender to notice her. After about five full minutes of being ignored she pounded her palm down on the bar and made a SMAKKING sound with it. Everyone in earshot seemed to stop and stare at her. She could feel her cheeks begin to color with slight embarrassment but recovered quickly. After all, it wasn't her that was ignoring someone she was the recipient of being ignored. Something she as a Colonial Officer was not used to.
*BARKEEP! I'D LIKE A SHOT OF TAURON TEQUILA. AND I DON'T WANT THE ONE WITH THE FESTERED UP TAURONIAN MAGGOT IN IT, I WANT THE GOOD STUFF* she had finally gotten his attention and placed her order. She then huffily pushed her hair back running her hand from forehead to back and letting her fingers rake through her long dark hair. Her hair immediately cascaded back into place again as the bartender sat down her shot and looked her up and down.
*here ya go. sorry, I been kinda busy here tonight. I'll take better care a ya missy* he gave her a wink deciding she was a looker for sure. He caught a glimpse of Jake just as he saw her and started to chuckle as he moved down the bar to get some more orders taken care of.
JJ picked up the shot and threw it back fast. The burn was exceptional and the effect started pretty quickly. Reason she had asked for the 'good stuff'. She looked around wondering if anyone would think to ask her, a stranger, to dance.

I finish my dance and saunter back toward the bar when alluva sudden I hear **SMAK** like all hell thunder itself has arrived. I fast look to see where the noise come from and I see a very pretty young woman who is a little mad at my friend the bartender.
She throws back a shot real fast and I think to myself *Hell, this one's got some life in her* I grin and make my way down the bar to where she's sittin. I sit down and lean forward lookin straight ahead. *don't wanna let her think I've noticed her yet*
"Hey Ty - gimme another beer here will ya?" I yell down the bar to my high school friend, the bartender. I turn my head a little to the left and act like I just now seen her. I flash my sexiest grin at her and then shift on my stool so's I'm facing her direct on. I dangle my arm a little off the bar. "Well, hello Sugar. How you doin?"

Hearing someone close speaking to her JJ turns her head to the right and about falls off the barstool at the handsome guy who is looking straight at her. Not only is he handsome, but he's a real look alike for her lost love, Wrestler. She blinks and looks again then slowly smiles a charming smile.
*I'm doing much better now that I finally got the bartender's attention. Thought I was gonna die of thirst before he noticed me. You..........ummm..........look like someone I knew once. What's your name? I'm JJ..........JJ Frost* she can't seem to break the lock his eyes have on hers. Absentmindedly she runs her index finger very slowly around the rim of the shot glass and wishes she had another one about now. This night is looking up! The music is blaring and the place is really hopping now as it's getting a little later in the evening.
Out of the corner of her eye she sees what looks like Sam from the ship. She waves at her then she brings her attention back to this guy and wonders about Sam being in the same place she is. Quite a coincidence but it's possible. They haven't really gotten to do much together but maybe later on they can meet up and have a drink and compare shore leave fun.

I keep looking at her eyes and smiling as she tells me her name. I lean over a little closer to her so she can hear me over all the noise and say in a low, sexy like voice. "I'm Jake. That bartender's a friend a mine. I'll make sure he takes good care a ya." A different song starts playing and it's one that's a little slower. This'll give me a chance to get my arms around this little number, if she'll dance with me. I decide to find out.
In my most charming voice I hold out my right hand to her "Would you care to dance? I promise, I'm pretty decent" I laugh as she slowly reaches out and takes my hand then slides off the barstool and I lead her out onto the dance floor. I quick get my arms around her waist and she puts hers up round my neck and we start swaying with the music.
"Damn this girl smells better'n any girl I've been 'round ina long time" I can't help but notice her hair smells like coconut and her perfume is intoxicating and very very sexy. I hold her a little closer as I move her around the floor in a slow wide circle mixing in and out of other couples perfectly. She's a great dancer and has some good moves too which makes me happy cause mosta the girls 'round here are pretty much mundane dancers.

Moving a bit closer to her as he whispered to her, dropping the bag of cubits that he received not too long ago onto a tray to send to the DJ's; "It hasn't always been like this but we, Terrans, are used to change." Feeling the music change, he spotted a few suits in the distance sitting down in the distance as he kept his eye on them. Turning back to her, he could smell the scent off of her; "So are all Tauron woman as beautiful as you?"

A classy, red sports car pulls up to the New Light Night Club. A young, handsome man grabs his jacket and steps out, lighting up a cigarette as he walks in. Quiet the party scene already, the music was pumping. Mitch strides over to the bar, catching the bartenders glance immediately. "Ty, how's it goin' man. I'll have a shot of your best."
The shot is left at the bar, Mitch downs it quickly. Several women catch his attention, one in particular. He'll make his move later on though. He sees his buddy, Jake, has already got his hands on a looker. Mitch gives a casual nod to the man, and finally decides to walk over. He pats his friend on the back. "Hey man! Who's your friend here?"

She couldn't make out what he had dropped onto a tray, and shrugged it off. Across the room, Sam saw someone waving to her. Squinted her eyes, she got a better look and saw that it was JJ Frost, a raptor pilot from the Atlantia! I knew it! Wondering what could have brought JJ to this place, she waved back to the woman, and made a mental note to buy her a drink later. She glanced to see what was catching his attention, as he turned to look at something. When he turned back, she smiled and thought for a moment before answering him. "I don't know, you tell me. How many Tauron women have you seen around here?" With a chuckle, her hazel eyes continued to watch him. She quickly responded once more with a question of her own, "Are all Terrans this charming?"

Smirking as he thought over it, moving his hands down to her hips as he kept her close; "A few Tauron women but none as stunning as you...as far as I can tell your smart, beautiful whether in fatigues or even this, not to mention passionate as well other Tauron women are just hoping they don't cause trouble and pass through."
Clearing his throat, he moved a strand of hair out of her face; "Not all Terrans are but a handful who have been around the block."

Intrigued and delighted JJ takes his hand and lets him lead her out onto the dance floor. She smiles when he wastes no time in wrapping his long arms around her and pulls her in close to him. She can feel his body heat through his black shirt as he moves her around the dance floor with ease. She has to admit, he's a very good dancer.
The fact he looks so much like Wrestler is making her defenses drop fast and she really doesn't care. She's just here to have fun and this shore leave won't last long.
As they are dancing someone comes over and taps Jake on the shoulder and asks who he's dancing with. JJ almost giggles, most of the time it seems the male population doesn't even notice her and tonight she's quite popular.
She looks up at Jake and then at the other guy and gives them both a sweet smile. *My name's JJ* she tells his friend as Jake then quickly seems to whisk her off in another direction. Her head begins to spin and she's not sure if it's the Tequila or the fast circles that Jake's making with her around the floor.

I give my buddy, Mitch a sly *WINK* as he tries to move in on my new girl. "Nuh uh, Buddy, I saw her first" I sweep her off in another direction away from him then I lean back and look down at her with a smile.
*So, Sugar, you said I remind you a someone. I hope that's a good thing?* I move her 'round the floor again in a slower circle and wonder what she'll say back to me. The song ends and I'm thirsty so I drop my arms from 'round her waist and grab holda her hand. We walk back to the bar and I snap my fingers to get Ty's attention. "Two shots of whatever the Lady is havin" I sit down and give her my attention.

Clearing his throat, he moved a strand of hair out of her face; "Not all Terrans are but a handful who have been around the block." She couldn't tell if was the flashing lights, the alcohol, heat, or even him that was making her head spin a bit. Whatever the case, she shook it off and continued dancing, raising an eyebrow slightly as his hands trailed down and tugged her closer. "Beautiful? You wouldn't say that if you saw when I wake up in the mornings." She said and laughed softly. She caught another look at JJ, feeling glad that someone else from the ship was here and having an equally good time. At the same time, she noticed a stranger watching them with interest. Sam licked her lips and glanced back up at Michael, her eyes peering into his. A chill ran up her spine and back down when he brushed the hair away from her face. "Being passionate doesn't keep me out of trouble, you know. I'm sure you can relate."

Grinning, he danced with her as he peered into her eyes to see not just the man she can see but also to grab her attention; "You sure cause I could still say that in the morning...got one bed if your still interested in proving me wrong."
Letting go of her as he reached into his jacket to pull out his pistol and silencer while he whispered to her; "Being passionate tends to keep me alive but at the same time puts me in danger," turning around, he spotted the man quickly as he placed 3 rounds into his chest before holstering the pistol; "sorry, Ha La Tha has put a substantial bounty on my head partly cause I've killed the bosses and godfather of the organization."
Calling over a waiter, he placed a small sack of cubits to pay the funeral arrangements of the assassin and even more to have one of the Terran gangs send a message to the fallen group. Turning his attention back to her as he continued, taking a deep breath as he placed his hands gently on her side; "Passion for me also brings another side of me out but being passionate to ones enemies shows that side of humanity that is hard to kill."

She looked at him in amazement, not able to determine whether he was joking or not. "You've known me for less than a week and you're already trying to..." Sam trailed off, grinning. "Mistakes of the past have taught me better." She knew she'd made more than her fair share of mistakes, and paid for them as well. "Besides, I'm not a love em and leave em kinda girl," She teased and winked.
Her eyes widened in shock, looking on as he pulled a gun out, took aim, and fired at a man in the corner. It was a surprise that no one else seemed to notice. And it made her wonder ... what if that man had a family, a wife, a kid? What now? She felt sadness if that was the case. "I was told to have compassion for my enemy as well, even if they don't show the same courtesy." Sam said, her eyes focused forward. "But don't mistake it for weakness."
