Marla gratefully accepts the food tray. She picks at the food lost in her own thoughts of Ben and wondering if there was anything she could have done differently so he would not have died. She shakes her head and sits up straight and tall at the sound of a twig being snapped as if someone had stepped on something just beyond the light of the fire. She holds her fingers to her lips and whispers to the group. "did anyone else hear that? I think someone else is out there" Marla nods toward the area she heard the sound come from. She slowly sets down the food tray and looks at Odin and Keanu then whispers to Trisha. "let them handle it. Maybe it's just an animal. We'll sit here and act like nothing is wrong til they give us the all clear" the two men look at each other and without saying one word they get up as if in unison and taking their rifles head off to investigate the noise.

*Walking back into camp carrying some fire wood, cocking my head sniffing the air. Smelling musty and stale a feat smell of anther*
"Well well Trisha Hearts welcome to our camp, now last time I we meet I warned you about the way you smell. She wait"
*Sitting down the wood, reaches up hold my finger up to my lips, Reaching to my side pulling out my SIW7 backing into the woods again. Sneaking around to the area of the noise, seeing a women. Holding out my gun reaching up to the hammer drawing it back CLICK!!. Moving forward quietly not making a sound as the barrel rests to the back of her head.*
"Walk slowly forward into our camp with your hands up."

I make my way quiet like to where Odin has now captured another woman. I keep my rifle trained on her even though he has her well at hand. Once I get closer I can see she's not a highly trained military type and I bring down my weapon but keep it handy.
*Odin, who's this? Seems these woods are just full of surprises. How many more of you are out here hiding? Let's get her back to camp and have a look at her. Maybe she can tell us a little something about how she happened to find us all the way out here in the woods* I help her up to her feet as I say that last part and keep my hand tight around her upper arm and start to push her back to our camp. *We got food if you're hungry* I can tell by the light of the fire she's cold and very hungry by the way she is shivering and the way she keeps looking at our food.

Turning back gently walking into the night, stepping over and around brush. Vanishing into the night, spotting afew broken limps and foot prints. Notice the women came this way as I cover them up hiding her trail.*

Uncomfortable, and now starting to feel the first pains of late pregnancy when suddenly:
"Ouch!" Elea screamed as a sharp kick shot up to her ribs.

I grab hold of the woman a little harder as she grabs her belly. *hey are you ok? What'sa matter?* I look at her as we reach the camp and I help her to sit down as I lay my rifle against a big rock. I look at her worried and wonder if she's sick or somethin'.

J stood there, Carlie and Doreen behind him. J shook the Terran Captain's hand and nodded to the Terran Lieutenant. Looking over their shoulders, J recognized the JAG officer. "So, Lieutenant Kyle, we meet again. Where exactly did you go? You were supposed to have been here HOURS ago. If this is how JAG operates, there needs to be some restructuring done over there." The Lieutenant snapped a salute, then nervously looked around. "Sir, I am SO sorry! The raptor that brought me in was diverted due to a storm in the area. Then the crew was recalled, and I was left there, at some desolate airfield a million kilometers from here. Finally, a civilian pilot flew me to some little town west of here, where I was able to contact my office, who then asked the Terrans to transport me here." "Well, good thing for you the prosecution dismissed the charges. So, why aren't you on your way back home?" The Lieutenant pulled a piece of paper from his satchel and handed it to J "General, by order of the Fleet Admiral, you are hereby instructed to return to Fleet HQ as soon as practical." J looked at the order, then the Lieutenant. "Well, I plan on doing that just as soon as I go get my wife and a bunch of missing Colonial citizens." The Lieutenant looked at the two Marines behind him. Both men stepped forward, weapons at the ready but still slung low. "Sir, I'm afraid I have been ordered to bring you back, in restraints if necessary." J looked at the Marines and noticed a familiar pin on the lapel of their combat vests. Shaking his head, he laughed a little. "Somebody's done their homework. Virgon, what a nice touch." Realizing that the Terrans had no idea what he was referring to, J explained. "They sent Marines who are from a Virgon sect known as the Setar. Years ago, and I'm talking before I was born, when there was civil unrest on Virgon, the government there asked for assistance in restoring order. What they wanted was a military force to keep them propped up. Long story short, Canceron sent Marines. Those Marines were involved in a firefight in one of Virgon's smaller towns. In the end, over 5,000 civilians were killed and another several thousand were wounded by those Marines. Ever since, Virgon has never forgave Canceron, even though it was the Marines who were attacked by Virgon rebels using civilians as shields." J watched as one of the Marines shifted his weapon. Before he could react, one of the Terran officers had drawn his weapon, pointing it directly at both Marines and the JAG Lieutenant. J immediately put up his hands to stop the situation from exploding any further. "WHOA! Easy there everyone, let's not go and do something silly. Marines, stand down NOW! I am STILL your Commanding Officer." Both Marines lowered their weapons, but J could tell they only needed a small excuse to open fire on him. From behind the Marines stood three Terran soldiers, weapons ready. J knew it was time to go. "Lieutenant Kyle, I am going to get my wife. If you try and stop me, all you will accomplish is getting yourself and these Marines killed. Now, either get out of my way, order those Marines to fire, or get back on board that aircraft and come with me. I promise once I have my wife, I will report to Fleet HQ." The Lieutenant looked at the Marines, then the three Terran soldiers. Resigning himself to defeat, he looked at J. "You understand, I will most likely be demoted and thrown in the Brig General? Oh well, what the frak! Marines, back on board. If nothing else, we can be assured of the General's safety." "I promise nothing will be done to you Lieutenant Kyle. Now that we have that settled, let's get out of here and back to Gondawa." With that, the group boarded the Terran aircraft, which took off, headed towards Gondawa. As the Terran aircraft flew over the Gondawan countryside, J was busy thinking about his wife. Would he ever find her? If she was back in the hands of the locals, they may not want to return her so easily. J didn't want this to turn into a battle, not with the Cylons deciding to attack the Fleet, even if it was in a limited engagement. Besides, he could understand the Gondawans desire to have Elea around them. She was a surgeon but more importantly, she was one of them, albeit distantly. J looked out the window, peering down at the surface. Off in the distance, J noticed a small village. J looked at Carlie. "Over there, about 20 clicks or so, there's a small village. Is there anyplace we can land close by?"

Carlie leans over J and peers out the window.
"Hmmm, the ground seems flat enough but we need a clear area. Let me ask the pilot."
Getting up from her seat, Carlie makes her way to the cockpit. Poking her head inside, she looks at the pilot.
"There's a village off to your left. Can you put this thing down somewhere close?"
The pilot, a young woman, looks to her left, then scans the area.
"Sure thing, there's a clearing a little to the north of the village. Buckle up, it'll be a little rough."
Carlie makes her way back to her seat.
"Okay everyone, buckle up. We're going to land but it's going to be rough."
Carlie sat down and snapped her seat belt. She really did hate flying. As the craft banked to the left, Carlie looked out the window and could see the village somewhat better.
"Well, they don't seem to be connected to the electric grid, no wires or poles running into the place. I'm sure their scouts have seen us though."

It's to soon to tell who's ship it is"*Moving to the fire as I kick dirt over the flames putting it out.*

As the Terran aircraft flew overhead, the Scout group on patrol looked up. The Terran Sergeant in charge looked at her people.
"Looks as if we have company. It could be ours or it could be Colonial. Let's head towards where it's going, see if we can find out who it is and why they are here."

Still looking out the window of the aircraft, Carlie spots something down below. Looking over at J, she whispers.
"I think we have company down there. I spotted a group of people in the brush."

J sits there, listening to Carlie. Turning to face her, he bends his head down and replies to her.
"Most likely it's a Terran patrol. They know we're heading this way and my guess is, they don't want a repeat of a few months ago, what with the rebels active in this area. Still, we can't take any chances."
J looks over at the Marines who accompanied the JAG officer and makes a motion of locking and loading. The Marines see this and prep their weapons. Getting up from his seat, J makes his way to the cockpit.
"We've got company on the surface, unsure if it's friendlies or not. I suggest we land over there, in that clearing. It'll place us about 5 clicks north of the village but put some distance between us and whoever is down there."
The pilot nods and banks the craft to his left, coming in low and setting the craft down near a cluster of trees. As soon as the craft is down and stopped, the Marines immediately open the hatch and rush out of the craft in a combat stance. J looks at the others, his sidearm drawn.
"Well, let's get our asses out of here. We got a little hike to make."

"She everyone Stay here I am going to scout out them, Keanu your in charge"
*Spinning holstering my guns as I grab my Springfield M1 Garand from my saddle. Gripping my blot pulling it back racking in a round, gripping it with both hands as I vanish back into the woods. Sneaking around and hiking to the landing area, leaping over rocks and under limbs.
Crossing a creek as I then hike up a small hill as I come to the clearing. Reaching back un-slinging my rifle, sighting down range targeting the head marine. Just then I get this gut feeling, crawling back down. Sneaking around hugging the hillside. crawling back up. Without making a sound I sneak up to BGen J Castorious pinning the muzzle of my rifle to his back. With the safety on reaching out placing my left hand firmly on his shoulder with a smirk*
"Bang your dead you now I grew up in these hills, hmm Colonial's"
*Shaking my head lowering my rifle, sling it over my right shoulder then my head. Pulling the strap taught, snapping my pistol holster's shut as I zip up my coat.*

Almost pissing in his pants, J spins around to see a somewhat familiar face. Relieved to see the uniform of the Terran Defense Forces, J looks at Carlie and the others.
"Gods! What are you trying to do, kill me by scaring me to frakking death!?"
J straightened his jacket and adjusted the pack over his back. Looking the man in the face, J spoke.
"You're Cotter, General Odin Cotter. I've met you before. And yes, Colonial MARINES General, plus two of your officers along for the ride. This is Captain Jorge Calypso and Lieutenant Gail Laxo of your Terran forces. They were kind enough to give me a ride. You may have heard, my wife and several hundred other Colonial citizens are here in these Gondawan hills, some against their will, such as my wife. I sure hope you are here to help me General, and not to try and stop me."
