Virgon is the planet where the Virgo tribe of Kobol settled.[11] It is considered to be one of the wealthiest and most advanced colonies. It is known throughout the Four Systems as "Imperial Virgon" and more recently as "The Blue Colony". Virgon is one of only two habitable planets in the Helios Beta star system, the other being longtime rival Leonis. In the past the two empires on Virgon and Leonis were at odds with each other. Virgon shares the Ouranos asteroid belt border with Leonis where mining operations have been conducted for hundreds of years by both planets, and has one habitable moon Hibernia, home to a minority group called the Celtons.[1] The capital is Boskirk, the former federal capital of the Colonies for a thousand years, until a few centuries ago when the Colonial Capitol became Caprica City in the Helios Alpha star system. It is also where a major battle occurred during the Destruction of the Twelve Colonies. The human forces above the planet lost the battle; and the colony was destroyed by the Cylons. Other cities on Virgon are Bloustad (Dutch for "blue city"), a beach town, an hour from Boskirk, and Hadrian in the south is a mining community. The climate of Virgon is notable for its singular blueness. Not only are the seas blue, but its plant life contains oils that evaporate in sunlight and cast a bluish tinge in the air. Quantities of anthracene, a substance that emits a blue glow when exposed to UV light, near the surface provide a bluish hue. Virgon's climate is temperate in the north, but variable and less pleasant in the south.[2]

Landing just outside of Boskirk, the pods opened up as he dropped out like the rest of his men but knew this place would be a bit different as he noticed the sky bluer then at Terra as he noticed a blue mist coming off of the animals. Flipping the safety off on his rifle, he started towards the town with his men moving ahead to secure nests to sniper from while he and his sergeant went in to check to see if any Cylons were inside. The town was mostly just steel sheds which in turn appeared to be a mining town with little aside for luxuries yet still it appeared to be through one hell of a battle.
Carefully entering one of the shacks, there was bodies everywhere and not just of the dead Virgons but also dead Cylon models; almost as if this one town had changed hands so often that no one had time to collect their dead. Ordering his snipers to come down, he began pouring lighter fluid over the dead before lighting them on fire, however; this wasn't unknown country for him considering it had been worst during the Terran war, they're still burying bodies of the dead there. Continuing on with his men, he knew burning the town would alert the Cylons but then again he was working on a larger trap which would divert a good number of Cylons following just him and letting Romo get in touch with any Colonials still alive.

Landing just outside of Bloustad, Romo and his fire teams swam out of the ocean where their drop pods left them; draining the water out of their rifles as they rushed the beach. Stepping into the forest, he too noticed the blue taint as he moved through the forest which had been littered with Vipers and raiders that fought in the last great battle over Virgon in the opening hours of the war. Rushing across a stream, they carefully made their way down quite a steep cliff which was a constant considering Virgon was one of the few Colonies completely covered in forests however also contain one of the few hidden mountain ranges that isn't quite seen by human eyes. He had been here once before for his combat training and it was never easy considering too much rain often led to flash floods with the strong roots for the trees; they hardly get ripped out or even too damaged from anything.
Stepping over some boulders that make up the northern end of the city, he was expecting a destroyed city with Cylon occupation but he was partly right with most of the skyscrapers destroyed yet somehow it was still receiving power. Keeping his snipers on the boulders, he started to move forward with his team noticing Anti Air cannons still sitting in position but without ammunition as if this city was prepared to defend itself against a full on onslaught of toasters. Rushing towards the nearest building, they ducked inside just as a tank rolled by but the odd thing was that it seemed to have Centurion bodies strapped onto the side as if it was trophies but it seemed odd that the inhabitants were still actively fighting.
Calling his snipers down, he handed his rifle over to his Lieutenant before walking out with his hands up; he didn't know how the Virgon's would react if it was really the Virgon's rolling on by.

Sprinting over a hill only to drop to a stop as his men did the same, glancing down at one of the most tempting targets that they had seen in a while; a tylium mine under Cylon hands but they had the advantage here. The Centurions appeared to have human slaves processing the ore and even more refining it which would make their work easier but they couldn't see raiders or heavy raiders which meant the Cylons must be using a convoy to move the fuel. Turning to his demolition team, Michael knew the measurements of the ship as he ordered them to setup detonator cord to clear out an LZ but only after they secure the fuel. Pulling out his sniper rifle, he had his teams spread out as they began picking up targets, waiting to turn on their laser range finders they knew the Terran .50 caliber trititanium round would tear right through the Centurion essentially making it a one shot and one kill victory. Opening fire, the Centurions didn't stand much of a chance as they dropped quickly not bringing up much of a challenge followed by detonating the cord to clear out an LZ. Keeping half of his snipers on the hill, he and his men rushed down to secure the area before freeing the Virgon prisoners; most of which seemed to be former military just by the way they stood and held a gun. Sending a text to Tom, he knew taking the tylium mine would draw attention which meant they now had to defend and he was up for that considering all this snooping around isn't his kind of thing.

Jumping the ship onto the LZ that Michael had secured, he soon noticed the power going offline but it didn't matter considering they had fuel right in front of them. Grabbing his gear, he suited up as he grabbed his helmet before rushing down the stairs to the main power grid which controlled the pins and hydraulics to open the massive pod doors and really was the main reason the Venture was built was to launch troops. Grabbing his modified P90, he blew the pins as the main doors opened up to a ramp to allow the vehicles to drive off of; grabbing his pack as he jumped onto one of the tanks. Slipping on his helmet, he held onto his P90 as he rode out with the tank knowing that even if the raiders came down that the Venture's ship to ship missiles and defense grid would give them one hell of a fight once she gets tylium back in her tank. Jumping off the tank once it rolled over the hill, the entire armor division which contained twenty tanks got into position with teams setting up grenade launchers that linked with their tactical pads and what ammunition crates they could get their hands on. Holding this position was vital considering even if they get refueled, the Atlantia would need the fuel as well meaning this was the ace in the hole that would make this entire campaign successful for all of them. Meeting up with Michael, he clipped the rifle onto his chest as he turned to him; "Shouldn't take no more than six hours to get refueled and even then I do plan on getting my hands dirty on this little trip."

Getting his M-4 back, he turned to his men as he slowly approached the tank to meet his Virgon equivalent of a Colonel; holding onto his rifle as he cleared his throat, "I really wasn't expecting you all to still be fighting like this, Max." Max or Maximo had been a long time friend of Romo and been in charge of several divisions even before the war and once the war started, his divisions took command of a city on the other end of a mountain range leading to tylium refinery field. Taking command of several armory divisions, they had been in heavy combat and able to manufacture bullets which had kept them in the fight but till recently they now have a functional air wing thanks to the pilots that were once part of the old fleet. Clearing his throat, Max fixed his vest as the turret pointed towards the air to keep an eye out for Cylons; "I wasn't expecting your smart ass self being down on my colony but since your here maybe I can get some use out of you." Calling down his snipers, he knew his men could do anything that Max needed even if it meant guarding an outpost for the next year and a half; he could do it after all he's been doing it for five years on Picon.

Getting the fuel reports from the once Virgon slaves, it was a bit discouraging considering this was the one jewel that they were looking for but now it could just be enough to get the Venture refueled which meant more fuel and more things to do. Sending the information to Tom, he went over to assist with the installation of the new anti air guns and it couldn't be a minute sooner considering he spotted a raider overhead escorting a heavy raider. Ducking for cover, both Michael and Tom knew the Cylons only know this site went quiet and considering the amount of forest camo on the Venture not even the most well trained eye can spot it which meant the Cylons were walking into a trap the Terrans love pulling. Michael's sniper teams kept their rifles out along with their missile launchers knowing the toasters wouldn't see it coming which not too many would. Waiting till the heavy raider sat down to unload Centurions, they sprung the trap with the missiles ripping through the air and into the two raiders with ease as fuel from both burned the Centurions to crisp. Keeping the fire going to keep a cover over their little operation, Michael knew the Centurions would come soon and in full force which meant his sniper teams had to mine the perimeter to keep any from sneaking up on them.

Taking cover with Maximo and his Marines, raiders began flying overhead but they weren't interested in them instead they were heading to the mine; almost like nothing else mattered while the Anti Air guns tore through them. Stepping out of cover, he noticed heavy raiders flying in with Centurions holding on, only guessing that the Terrans were doing the one thing nobody has done in quite some time which was to challenge the Cylons. He was nearly breathless but pulled himself together as he turned to Maximo, "I'll keep three fire teams here but if those Terrans I brought all the Cylons to one spot then they're either crazy or really really smart," picking up extra magazines from the tanks armory. Starting back into the forest, he began jogging with his men right behind him and for now he wasn't going to run in to join the battle but assist them from a distance. A thought kept rushing through his mind, even if they got rid of all the Cylons on this colony they have no control of the orbit which meant more could just pour in meaning they soon needed to see if the fleet hid any ships on the ground.

The tanks erupted with gun fire as they took aim at the raiders, bringing them down with ease while the Venture's weapon systems came online with flak fire overhead to protect them from too many enemy ships attempting to land to overrun their defenses. Soon the automated grenade launchers flipped on as they opened fire on the heavy raiders, bringing them with shards of Centurions as well but soon most of the guns went silent to reload and now the Cylons began landing their invasion forces. Opening fire onto the Centurions, Tom was in the "kill box" that they had setup with his men as he tore through a few Cylons before taking a few on hand to hand while attempting to reload. Kicking over a dead Centurion, another one tackled him but didn't last long as he shoved a carbon knife into the Centurion before tossing it aside. Picking up the Centurion's rifle, he began opening fire on the Centurions once more unable to hear much of anything as bullets ripped through the air with precision shots and focused on one thing which was to hold this spot. Pulling out his pistol, he kept his fire focused grinning under his helmet for he was never going to get the dirt off of this armor and even more he was doing the one thing he loved which was to fight against impossible odds.

Unpacking the specialty rifles, he laid down on the side of the mountain as he set his pack on the ground to add stability for his barrel; taking aim with the rest of his men as he tossed the scope caps aside. Spotting a few Centurions attempting to take the tower, one of the best spots to setup a sniper nest against the Terrans, flipping on his laser as his men followed taking them down with ease. Loading up armor piercing rounds, he had tried something like this once before but it was always simulations and always encase their was nothing else to do which would be perfect for now; began opening fire on the heavy raiders. Bringing them down with ease, to his surprise, he could see Colonel Maximo send his entire armored division down the dirt road which meant he wanted a piece of the action as well. Keeping his sniper fire team on the mountain, he slung his rifle as he started down the mountainside with his own fire team set out on a single mission to aid those crazy Terrans. Skidding down the mountainside, he kept his rifle in hand as he noticed the Venture's Marines fighting to keep the Cylons away from the ship as he moved in to assist knowing the technology on that ship and even the information was something that the Cylons didn't need in their hands.

Grabbing a hold of a Centurion, he pulled him down from the building before filling it with holes, the entire mine was covered with Centurion parts and even more raider chunks but he had just secured the hose which was flowing with refined tylium to the ship. Ordering his fire team to protect the hose with their life, he stayed on the rig while the Centurions poured in from heavy raiders forcing him to go hand to hand as they attempted to end the fueling. Doing everything he could, he didn't bother using his rifle for he forced the Centurions to fire against one another and soon made it where one couldn't walk through the facility without tripping over a body. Keeping them at a distance, he could now fight them from a distance as the fuel flowed through the hose; taking aim at a skin job trying to orchestrate the chaos that was this attack.
Finally topping off the tank, he flipped off the fueling gage before tapping his radio; "We have all the fuel and setting charges so get clear," pulling out what G-4 he had to the fueling valve. Attaching a timer to it, he tossed in smoke grenades before sprinting out of the steel structure and into the chaos outside; moving forward without slowing down. Tackling a Centurion, he ripped the head off as he kept moving forward as the structure began to explode; sending out massive flames followed by secondary explosions. The massive shockwave sent most of them against the hull of the Venture, billowing up black smoke as the raiders turned towards the city where Maximo and his men tore them to shreds before they could cause too much trouble.

Watching the armored division drop into place, it wasn't too long till he was in the river with both his fire teams and Tom's fire teams as he watched the Venture head off into orbit. Paddling to shore, the water was warmer than what he expected then again it sucked being soaking wet considering the enemy would be hearing the squeaky rubber on their boots as they walk. Unlike other cities in the Colonies, Virgon used to be a small empire and it shows in the city with the tough and durable granite roads with what appears to be rubies as dividers not to mention most of the governmental and doctor offices are covered in polished wood and marble. The only reason Virgon went to such lengths to do this is the fact it wanted to show off the money it took to build this city not to mention show Caprica that they're city was a better city. But now the granite was stained with blood and oil from the fighting and even debris covered over it from when Vipers and raiders were fighting to capture the planet.
Running across to the old military base, they slid inside the compound just as a heavy raider flew overhead holding a tank underneath it to engage Maximo armored division. Breaking into the old armory, they began pulling out spare nitroglycerin warheads that were developed for mining purposes at the very least could help them if they were to even out the odds a bit to their favor. Pulling out the unstable cores, they carefully loaded them up before starting into the underground to rig them before Maximo's forces got too close to the city.

Carrying the heavy warhead, he was relieved to reached the spot that he had agreed with Romo as he set the warhead down before undoing his pack to get his climbing gear out. He was all on his own which was new for him as he slipped the rope over a rafter before forward mounting it to his vest so he wouldn't have to worry about the warhead as he lifted himself upward. Finding the gas line that they all were going for, he attached a pressure valve before setting up his mount; carefully placing the warhead on top of the gas line. Wiring two of his grenades from his grenade launcher, he mounted them upward so anything above would be feeling it majorly before sliding down onto the ground.
Wrapping his gear, he started jogging to the fall back point as he noticed a few buggies that were set down by Maximo; taking a seat as he waited for Romo and the rest of his fire teams.
