*Lone Raptors disperse from the Atlantia to deliver a single medium cargo box. Full of small boxes containing wrist cuffs for every Colonial to aid in his or her fight with the Cylon's. Flying through space entering the ship's hanger bay, docking the Raptor opening the haul door. two Marines unload the cargo , delivering it to the Chief as he sign's off on it. Two of his Marines then take the Cargo box to there ship's Armory to prepare to be handed out. the two Atlantia Marines then board the Raptor to head home.*
Each box contains a small metal box, felt lined with one wrist cuff. Instruction's informing that the Nanites in the Basic cuff housing can make home in a new housing per the user's taste. The new house must can not be any smaller then a wrist watch, once the user has indicated the new housing the Nanites will relocate to said housing. A presser switch will appear that only the user can Active and De-active the Nanites. User's must not be afraid to small static shock's for the suit and body to act as one.
Crysis Nano-suit Scout ArmorCrysis Nano-suit (Pronunciation: krahy-sis) "Nano-Muscle Suits", or Nano-suits, are powerful and extremely versatile battle armor worn by a soldier to drastically enhance his/her combat and function-ability performance. These highly advanced suits allow superhuman feats when used to their full potential.
Weight: approx. 10 lbs
ModalityThe foremost function of Nano-suits are their ability to dedicate their energy supply to a specific function which ultimately augments and greatly enhances certain properties of the wearer. In military practice, the nanos will have a place in which they come out of and from there the frame is the human body but numbers are in the billions but are extremely strong. Knife proof and able to keep the user safe from a .50 caliber rounds, the armor suit has currently a single variation and requires the user to wear a pair of forearm links where the Nanites originate from. The coherinest of the Nanites are held together by a low electrical impulse as well as magnetism but at the end of the day the Nanites are retracted to repair and re-energize for next day use.
The Nano-suit has four modes, which are as follows:
Armor
Strength
Speed
Cloak
ArmorArmor mode diverts the limited-capacity regenerative energy supply of the Nano-suit into absorbing the kinetic energy of incoming projectiles and other damaging forces, such as hazardous levels of heat and radiation.
While the Nano-suit is constantly regenerating any damage to the wearer's physiology, this regenerative process occurs the fastest in Armor mode.
In Armor mode, the energy supply of the Nano-suit only depletes in the process of protecting incoming fire or the effects of other hazards to biological life that face the player. When not under any biological threat, the energy reserves of the suit will ultimately return to 100%. Armor mode is commonly used in the absence of the need to use any other mode, as the protection it provides can be the difference between life and death when faced with unexpected threats.
StrengthIn Strength mode, the wearer's muscular strength is increased to an immense scale. Thrown objects are thrown with significantly more force, melee attacks become much stronger and forceful, and the user can jump superhuman heights, allowing them to scale rocky terrain and the like with unprecedented ease.
Strength mode also enhances the accuracy of the users shooting by reducing sway and recoil, allowing the user to manage automatic firearms such as a hand-held mini-gun with greater ease.
In Strength mode, the energy supply of the Nano-suit is depleted when the effects of Strength mode are particularly called upon; there is significant energy drain when jumping and performing melee attacks. Inaction (standing or walking) in Strength mode will ultimately result in full energy reserves.
Strength mode is generally used to scale heights and can be used to gain quick access to the roofs of buildings. Use of Strength mode is also advisable when accuracy is critical or when performing melee attacks.
SpeedIn Speed mode, power is diverted to increasing the dexterity of the user, allowing them to make quicker motion and cover more ground in less time. The power of the suit's "hydro-thrusters" is also increased while in Speed mode, and thus the user will still move at an increased speed even while in zero-gravity environments.
The 'sprint' function of Speed mode allows the entire energy reserve of the Nanosuit to be diverted into a short but extremely fast movement.
The increased dexterity of Speed mode also allows the user to reload firearms and prepare heavy weapons at an increased speed.
Since the user can perform melee attacks faster when in Speed mode, the damage rendered from melee attacks in a given time period ultimately increases with Speed mode. However, Strength mode is advised for single, powerful melee attacks.
When in Speed mode, only the Sprint function and melee attacks depletes the energy reserves of the Nano-suit. As long as the user is not sprinting, suit energy reserves will ultimately reach 100%.
It is advisable to use Speed mode and its associated Sprint function when attempting long jumps or when ascending steep slopes that are too steep to scale with Strength mode. This is opposed to Strength mode, which is more appropriate for high jumps.
CloakThe Nanites Refract the light from the environment around the suit confusing everyone's perception, appearing invisible to the naked eye. Also, noise created by the wearer's movement is drastically reduced. Only relatively close scrutiny or a sharp ear can identify a Nano-suit in Cloak mode, seen only by slight diffraction of the light passing 'through' the user, and a slight blue glow visible in certain lighting conditions.
This active camouflage provides concealment in two important ways: firstly, it makes the camouflaged object appear not merely similar to its surroundings, but effectively invisible through the use of mimicry; secondly, active camouflage changes the appearance of the object as changes occur in the background. Ideally, active camouflage mimics nearby objects as well as objects as distant as the horizon. It also makes it see through.
It is an active camouflage system which projects ambient conditions of the opposing side, and thus rendering the masked object transparent by transmission. The system is not shown to be perfect, as it seems unable to compensate for sudden changes and physical impacts nor impervious to close observation. A faint translucent distortion is shown as the limitations of the technology.
The Cloak, as an unfortunate side effect of its functioning, emits high-pitched noise on the boundaries of those frequencies audible to human ears, generally audible only to younger ears. Usually unnoticeable, a trained ear can recognize the sound as warning of proximity to a Nano-suit user.
The Cloak is a demanding function that ultimately reduces the energy reserves available, and therefore cannot be sustained indefinitely. While a stationary user can make use of the Cloak mode for over Two minute's, motion causes a much more rapid drain on the energy reserves of the Nano-suit; the faster the user moves, the faster the drain. If the suit's energy reserves drops below ten, Cloak will deactivate and the suit will switch to Armor mode. If you attempt to activate Cloak while energy is below 10%, it will immediately deactivate and Armor mode will be activated instead. The shock of firing a weapon (or preforming any attack, such as throwing a grenade) is sufficient to completely and instantly drain the energy reserves of the Nano-suit, resulting in the immediate deactivation of Cloak mode and the switch to Armor mode.
While Cloak mode greatly reduces the chance of an enemy hitting the user, any incoming fire received will cause direct damage to the user's physiology, as no power is provided to the Armor functions of the suit while engaged.
Non-Modal FunctionsThe Nano-suit incorporates its own radio equipment, allowing for hands-free voice and/or video communications.
The Nano-suit incorporates an internal oxygen supply for underwater diving. The Nano-suit can recycle air for approximately Five minute's before it's energy starts to drain. If energy reaches zero, the user will start to take damage. It automatically recharges when the user reenters normal atmosphere.
The Nano-suit also incorporates connectivity to a military network, allowing the suit to display critical information on its HUD. This information includes a topographic GPS map of the area, complete with objective pinpoints and descriptions and radar integration that identifies allied and known enemy units. Computers can interface with the Nano-suit in order to access this network. Also, information about the Nano-suit, such as the suit's and user's vital signs, can be accessed from the network.
The Nano-suit is capable of recording audiovisual and environmental data, allowing the user to document whatever circumstances they encounter. It will also maintain body temperature if it detects critically suboptimal temperatures in the surrounding environment.
The Nano-suit has a special defrosting technology. If the suit does somehow, under extremely freezing temperatures get frozen, the user of the suit can initiate the defrosting device and the suit of armor will be fully capable of movement again.
To prevent Nano-suit technology from entering enemy hands should the user die, the Nano-suit is designed to disintegrate or "vaporize" on the command of a remote control, usually in the possession of commanding officers such as Prophet. The disintegration of the suit also results in the disintegration of the corpse inside, theoretically providing a way to kill the soldier for whatever reason.
HUDHead-up display (HUD) or Helmet-Mounted display (HMD) is any transparent display that presents data without requiring the user to look away from his or her usual viewpoint. The origin of the name stems from the user being able to view information with his or her head "up" and looking forward, instead of angled down looking at lower instruments. Basic Dradis(motion sensors) with HUD system and damage control(responds to armor breaches by applying pressure via impact gel layer and constricting the Kevlar meshing around the breach slowing or stopping the bleeding), life support gauge incorporated into HUD as a bar graph or pie chart gauge of available O2 About 90 minutes., magnetically activated boot soles for EVA operations and the like.
Power systemAdvanced Kinetic powered quartz with integrated high capacity Flexible thin film cells incorporated on the back. Estimated charge time approx. four hours with out solar recharge. Powering computer system and moment servo assisted motors allowing the solder to carry up to 800 lbs and capable of jumping 20 feet in the air in normal gravity. Hand to hand combat capability measured in Foot pounds per square inch depending on state of charge up to but not exceeding 3000 Flbs in each arm multiplied by solders own physical strength. Legs a bit stronger, around 5000-4500 Flbs.
Back-up external belt housing 10 white crystal, xenon diflouride (XeF2) (measuring two inches by three inches) Have to apply 1,000,000 atmospheres worth of pressure to this caustic and stinky powder that's normally used to etch circuits on silicon. To withstand that kind of pressure, you need a tiny 2-by-3-inch compartment lined with a couple of diamond anvils. The result? A little metallic-looking brick that amounts to the most powerful non-nuclear energy storage device ever created.
With no belt or sun rays to supply power to suit will most likely to drain the users own energy field within the human body. Under some rare conditions where the user has a high energy field the user won't feel any affects.
If drained of power and while recharging the suit will offer no protection, therefore the suit will repair itself but no the wearer. Fully charged the Nanite suit can withstand small arm's fire, under the real conduction’s a shotgun blast can be harmless. But close enough and the pellets will penetrate.
